¹O Lord God, to whom vengeance belongeth; O God, to whom vengeance belongeth, shew thyself.

²Подигни се, судијо земаљски, подај заслугу охолима.

²Lift up thyself, thou judge of the earth: render a reward to the proud.

³Докле ће се безбожници, Господе, докле ће се безбожници хвалити?

³LORD, how long shall the wicked, how long shall the wicked triumph?

⁴Руже и охоло говоре, величају се сви који чине безакоње.

⁴How long shall they utter and speak hard things? and all the workers of iniquity boast themselves?

⁵Газе народ Твој, Господе, и достојање Твоје муче.

⁵They break in pieces thy people, O LORD, and afflict thine heritage.

⁶Удовицу и дошљака убијају, и сироте море.

⁶They slay the widow and the stranger, and murder the fatherless.

⁷И говоре: Неће видети Господ, и неће дознати Бог Јаковљев.

⁷Yet they say, The LORD shall not see, neither shall the God of Jacob regard it.

⁸Оразумите се, прелуди људи! Будале! Кад ћете бити паметни?

⁸Understand, ye brutish among the people: and ye fools, when will ye be wise?

⁹Који је створио ухо, зар не чује? И који је око начинио, зар не види?

⁹He that planted the ear, shall he not hear? he that formed the eye, shall he not see?

¹⁰Зар неће обличити који народе уразумљује, који учи човека да зна?

¹⁰He that chastiseth the heathen, shall not he correct? he that teacheth man knowledge, shall not he know?

¹¹Господ зна мисли људима како су ништаве.

¹¹The LORD knoweth the thoughts of man, that they are vanity.

¹²Благо човеку кога Ти, Господе, уразумљујеш, и законом својим учиш;

¹²Blessed is the man whom thou chastenest, O LORD, and teachest him out of thy law;

¹³Да би му дао мир у зле дане, док се ископа јама безбожнику.

¹³That thou mayest give him rest from the days of adversity, until the pit be digged for the wicked.

¹⁴Јер неће одбацити Господ народ свој, и достојање своје неће оставити.

¹⁴For the LORD will not cast off his people, neither will he forsake his inheritance.

¹⁵Јер ће се суд вратити на правду, у њега ће наћи сви правог срца.

¹⁵But judgment shall return unto righteousness: and all the upright in heart shall follow it.

¹⁶Ко ће устати за мене супрот злима? Ко ће стати за мене супрот онима који чине безакоње?

¹⁶Who will rise up for me against the evildoers? or who will stand up for me against the workers of iniquity?

¹⁷Кад ми Господ не би био помоћник, брзо би се душа моја преселила онамо где се ћути.

¹⁷Unless the LORD had been my help, my soul had almost dwelt in silence.

¹⁸Кад кажем: Дрхће ми нога, милост Твоја, Господе, прихвата ме.

¹⁸When I said, My foot slippeth; thy mercy, O LORD, held me up.

¹⁹Кад се умноже бриге у срцу мом, утехе Твоје разговарају душу моју.

¹⁹In the multitude of my thoughts within me thy comforts delight my soul.

²⁰Еда ли ће се близу Тебе стати престо крвнички, и онај који намишља насиље насупрот закону?

²⁰Shall the throne of iniquity have fellowship with thee, which frameth mischief by a law?

²¹Спремају се на душу праведникову, и крв праву окривљују.

²¹They gather themselves together against the soul of the righteous, and condemn the innocent blood.

²²Али је Господ моје пристаниште, и Бог је мој тврдо уточиште моје.

²²But the LORD is my defence; and my God is the rock of my refuge.

²³Он ће им вратити за безакоње њихово, за њихову злоћу истребиће их, истребиће их Господ, Бог наш.

²³And he shall bring upon them their own iniquity, and shall cut them off in their own wickedness; yea, the LORD our God shall cut them off.
