1Рече безумник у срцу свом: Нема Бога; неваљали су, гадна су дела њихова; нема никога да добро твори.
1The fool has said in his heart, “There is no God.” They are corrupt. They have done abominable works. There is none who does good.
2Господ погледа с неба на синове човечије, да види има ли који разуман, тражи ли који Бога.
2Yahweh looked down from heaven on the children of men, to see if there were any who understood, who sought after God.
3Сви су зашли, сви се покварили, нема никога добро да твори, нема ни једног.
3They have all gone aside. They have together become corrupt. There is none who does good, no, not one.
4Зар се неће опаметити који чине безакоње, једу народ мој као што једу хлеб, не призивају Господа?
4Have all the workers of iniquity no knowledge, who eat up my people as they eat bread, and don’t call on Yahweh?
5Онде ће задрхтати од страха; јер је Господ у роду праведном.
5There they were in great fear, for God is in the generation of the righteous.
6Смејете се ономе што убоги ради; али Господ њега заклања.
6You frustrate the plan of the poor, because Yahweh is his refuge.
7Ко ће послати са Сиона помоћ Израиљу? Кад Господ поврати заробљени народ свој, онда ће се радовати Јаков и веселиће се Израиљ.
7Oh that the salvation of Israel would come out of Zion! When Yahweh restores the fortunes of his people, then Jacob shall rejoice, and Israel shall be glad.
