8

1 Irikoy fongu Nuhu nda ganji hamey da kwaara almaney kulu kaŋ yaŋ go a banda hiyo ra. Irikoy na haw fo daŋ a ma faaru ndunnya boŋ, hala haro ye.
1And God remembered Noah, and every living thing, and all the cattle that was with him in the ark: and God made a wind to pass over the earth, and the waters assuaged;
2 A na ganda harey da beene daabirjo lutu, a na beene haro mo gaay.
2The fountains also of the deep and the windows of heaven were stopped, and the rain from heaven was restrained;
3 Haro mo soobay ka zabu ka fun laabo boŋ waati kulu. Jirbi zangu nda waygo banda haro zabu ndunnya boŋ.
3And the waters returned from off the earth continually: and after the end of the hundred and fifty days the waters were abated.
4 Handu iyyanta, zaari way cindi iyyanta hando ra no hiyo fandi Ararat tondey boŋ.
4And the ark rested in the seventh month, on the seventeenth day of the month, upon the mountains of Ararat.
5 Haro soobay ka zabu waati kulu hala handu wayanta. Handu wayanta zaari sintina ra, tondey boŋey sintin ka bangay.
5And the waters decreased continually until the tenth month: in the tenth month, on the first day of the month, were the tops of the mountains seen.
6 A go no, jirbi waytaaci banda, kala Nuhu na daabirjo kaa finetaro kaŋ a te hiyo ra gaa.
6And it came to pass at the end of forty days, that Noah opened the window of the ark which he had made:
7 A na gaaru fo taŋ kaŋ soobay ka windi-windi kala haro koogu ndunnya boŋ.
7And he sent forth a raven, which went forth to and fro, until the waters were dried up from off the earth.
8 A na koloŋay fo mo taŋ, zama nga ma di hala haro kulu fun laabo boŋ.
8Also he sent forth a dove from him, to see if the waters were abated from off the face of the ground;
9 Amma koloŋa mana du nangu kaŋ ga zumbu. A ye ka kaa Nuhu do hiyo ra, zama haro go no ndunnya fando kulu boŋ. Kala Nuhu na nga kambe salle k'a candi ka daŋ nga do hiyo ra.
9But the dove found no rest for the sole of her foot, and she returned unto him into the ark, for the waters were on the face of the whole earth: then he put forth his hand, and took her, and pulled her in unto him into the ark.
10 A ye ka batu jirbi iyye fo, a na koloŋa taŋ koyne a ma fun hiyo ra.
10And he stayed yet other seven days; and again he sent forth the dove out of the ark;
11 Koloŋa ye ka kaa a do wiciri kambo ra. Kal a kande zeytun* kobto fo nga meyo ra kaŋ a kosu. Woodin gaa no Nuhu bay kaŋ haro kulu dandi ka fun laabo boŋ.
11And the dove came in to him in the evening; and, lo, in her mouth was an olive leaf plucked off: so Noah knew that the waters were abated from off the earth.
12 A goro koyne jirbi iyye, a na koloŋa taŋ. A mana ye ka kaa Nuhu do koyne.
12And he stayed yet other seven days; and sent forth the dove; which returned not again unto him any more.
13 A go no mo, _Nuhu|_ jiiri zangu iddu nda afo ra, handu sintina zaari sintina ra, kala harey koogu ka fun laabo boŋ. Nuhu na hiyo daabirjo kaa. A guna, a di kaŋ laabo batama goono ga koogu.
13And it came to pass in the six hundredth and first year, in the first month, the first day of the month, the waters were dried up from off the earth: and Noah removed the covering of the ark, and looked, and, behold, the face of the ground was dry.
14 Handu hinkanta, a jirbi waranka cindi iyyanta ra, laabo koogu gumo.
14And in the second month, on the seven and twentieth day of the month, was the earth dried.
15 Irikoy salaŋ Nuhu se ka ne:
15And God spake unto Noah, saying,
16 «Ma fatta hiyo ra, nin da ni wando da ni ize arey da ngey wandey ni banda.
16Go forth of the ark, thou, and thy wife, and thy sons, and thy sons' wives with thee.
17 Ma fundikooney kulu kaŋ yaŋ go ni banda mo fattandi: curey da almaney da gande birantey kulu kaŋ yaŋ ga ganda biri laabo boŋ. I ma hay ka te ize boobo ka tonton laabo boŋ.»
17Bring forth with thee every living thing that is with thee, of all flesh, both of fowl, and of cattle, and of every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth; that they may breed abundantly in the earth, and be fruitful, and multiply upon the earth.
18 Nuhu binde fatta, nga nda nga izey da nga wando da izey wandey care banda.
18And Noah went forth, and his sons, and his wife, and his sons' wives with him:
19 Alman kulu, da ganda birante kulu, da curo kulu, da haŋ kaŋ ga ganda biri laabo boŋ fatta hiyo ra, ngey dumey boŋ.
19Every beast, every creeping thing, and every fowl, and whatsoever creepeth upon the earth, after their kinds, went forth out of the ark.
20 Nuhu na sargay* feema te Rabbi se. A suuban alman halalantey kulu ra, da curo hanantey kulu ra mo. A n'i sarga k'i ton feema boŋ.
20And Noah builded an altar unto the LORD; and took of every clean beast, and of every clean fowl, and offered burnt offerings on the altar.
21 Kala Rabbi maa haw kaana. Rabbi ne nga bina ra: «Ay si ye ka laabo laali koyne boro sabbay se, zama boro bine fonguyaŋ, ilaalo no za a zankatara gaa. Ay si ye mo ka hay kulu kaŋ ga funa kar, mate kaŋ ay jin ka te din.
21And the LORD smelled a sweet savor; and the LORD said in his heart, I will not again curse the ground any more for man's sake; for the imagination of man's heart is evil from his youth; neither will I again smite any more every thing living, as I have done.
22 Waati kulu kaŋ ndunnya go no mo, burjina nda heemar, hargu nda fufule, kaydiya nda jaw, cin da zaari si jaŋ ka te.»
22While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.
