2 Peter

3

1 Ay baakoy, woone ga ti tira hinkanta kaŋ ay go ga hantum araŋ se. I boro hinka ra mo ay goono ga fonguyaŋ hanno cimikoyo tunandi araŋ laakaley ra k'araŋ fongandi.
1This is now, beloved, the second letter that I have written to you; and in both of them I stir up your sincere mind by reminding you;
2 Ay ga ba araŋ ma fongu nda sanney kaŋ annabi* hanantey jin ka ci, da Rabbi kaŋ ti Faabakwa lordo mo kaŋ araŋ diyey ci.
2that you should remember the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and the commandments of us, the apostles of the Lord and Savior:
3 Sintina day araŋ ma woone bay: jirbi banantey ra hahaarakoyaŋ ga kaa, kaŋ goono ga ngey ibaay laaley gana. I ga hahaara
3knowing this first, that in the last days mockers will come, walking after their own lusts,
4 ka ne: «Man a kaayaŋo alkawlo? Zama za hano kaŋ hane iri kaayey kani, hayey kulu go no danga mate kaŋ cine i go za takayaŋ sintina.»
4and saying, “Where is the promise of his coming? For, from the day that the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.”
5 Zama i cacar ka dinya woone: za doŋ Irikoy sanno boŋ beena go no, laabo te mo ka fatta haro ra haro bindo ra mo.
5For this they willfully forget, that there were heavens from of old, and an earth formed out of water and amid water, by the word of God;
6 Hayey din do ndunnya kaŋ go no alwaato din halaci, waato kaŋ tunfaana haro n'a daabu.
6by which means the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished.
7 Amma beena da ganda kaŋ go no sohõ, sanni follonka din boŋ no Irikoy n'i jisi danji se. A goono g'i gaay hala zaaro kaŋ ra a ga borey kaŋ yaŋ wangu nga ciiti ka halaci.
7But the heavens that now are, and the earth, by the same word have been stored up for fire, being reserved against the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men.
8 Amma, ay baakoy, araŋ ma si dinya hari folloŋ kaŋ ga ti: zaari folloŋ Rabbi do danga jiiri zambar no, jiiri zambar mo danga zaari folloŋ no.
8But don’t forget this one thing, beloved, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
9 Rabbi si muray da nga alkawlo, mate kaŋ cine boro fooyaŋ ga muray lasaabu, amma a ciya suurante araŋ se. A si ba boro kulu ma halaci, amma a ga ba boro kulu ma tuubi.
9The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
10 Amma Rabbi zaaro ga kaa danga zay cine. Zaaro din ra mo beena ga bisa nda kosongu bambata. Hayey kaŋ Irikoy na hay kulu kaŋ go ndunnya ra taka nd'a mo ga manne nda konni bambata. Ndunnya da goyey kaŋ go a ra ga ton.
10But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will be dissolved with fervent heat, and the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up.
11 Za kaŋ hayey din kulu ga halaci yaadin cine, boro woofo yaŋ dumi no a ga hima araŋ ma bara goray hanna ra da Irikoy ganayaŋ ra,
11Therefore since all these things will be destroyed like this, what kind of people ought you to be in holy living and godliness,
12 waati kaŋ araŋ goono ga Irikoy zaaro batu k'a kaayaŋo muraadu gumo? A kaayaŋ zaaro sabbay se beena ga di da danji ka halaci. Hayey kaŋ Irikoy na hay kulu kaŋ go ndunnya ra taka nd'a mo ga manne nda konni bambata.
12looking for and earnestly desiring the coming of the day of God, which will cause the burning heavens to be dissolved, and the elements will melt with fervent heat?
13 Amma Irikoy alkawlo boŋ iri goono ga hangan beene tajey da ganda tajo se, nangey kaŋ adilitaray ga nga gora te.
13But, according to his promise, we look for new heavens and a new earth, in which righteousness dwells.
14 Woodin sabbay se, ay baakoy, za kaŋ araŋ goono ga hayey din batu, kal araŋ ma anniya haw hala Irikoy m'araŋ gar tombi si, taali si laakal kanay ra.
14Therefore, beloved, seeing that you look for these things, be diligent to be found in peace, without blemish and blameless in his sight.
15 Koyne, araŋ ma iri Rabbo suuro lasaabu danga faaba _alwaati|_, mate kaŋ cine iri nya-izo, Bulos, iri baakwa hantum araŋ se fahama boŋ kaŋ Irikoy n'a no.
15Regard the patience of our Lord as salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also, according to the wisdom given to him, wrote to you;
16 Yaadin mo no a hantum nga tirey kulu ra, nangey kaŋ a ga salaŋ nda hayey din. Hay fooyaŋ mo go a tirey ra kaŋ i fahama ga sandi, kaŋ boŋ-biyey da borey kaŋ yaŋ mana cimi bay goono g'i fasaryaŋo diibi nda tangari. I goono ga woodin te da Irikoy Tira Hanney nangu cindey mo ka koy ngey boŋ halaciyaŋ gaa.
16as also in all of his letters, speaking in them of these things. In those, there are some things that are hard to understand, which the ignorant and unsettled twist, as they also do to the other Scriptures, to their own destruction.
17 Yaadin gaa, araŋ wo, ay baakoy, zama araŋ jin ka woodin bay, araŋ ma haggoy boro laaley ma s'araŋ candi darayyaŋ ra hal araŋ ma fun araŋ kayyaŋ nangu gaabikoono ra ka kaŋ.
17You therefore, beloved, knowing these things beforehand, beware, lest being carried away with the error of the wicked, you fall from your own steadfastness.
18 Amma araŋ ma soobay ka beeri iri Rabbo kaŋ ti iri Faabakwa Yesu Almasihu gomno d'a bayra ra. Darza ma bara a se sohõ da hal abada abadin. Amin!
18But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and forever. Amen.
