1 Woodin sabbay se, ya nya-izey hanantey, araŋ kaŋ yaŋ gonda baa beene ceeyaŋo ra, araŋ ma mo sinji Diya da Alfaga Beero gaa kaŋ iri goono ga seeda, nga kaŋ ti Yesu.
1Therefore, holy brothers, partakers of a heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our confession, Jesus;
2 Nga wo naanaykoy no Irikoy kaŋ n'a daŋ se, mate kaŋ Musa ciya Irikoy windo kulu ra.
2who was faithful to him who appointed him, as also was Moses in all his house.
3 Zama i na Yesu lasaabu kaŋ a gonda darza ka bisa Musa, mate kaŋ windi cinako gonda beeray ka bisa windo.
3For he has been counted worthy of more glory than Moses, inasmuch as he who built the house has more honor than the house.
4 Zama windi kulu gonda nga cinakwa, amma hay kulu cinakwa ga ti Irikoy.
4For every house is built by someone; but he who built all things is God.
5 Musa wo, daahir a ciya naanaykoy Irikoy windo kulu ra, nga kaŋ ti saajawko, a ma seeda te hayey kaŋ Irikoy ga ci se.
5Moses indeed was faithful in all his house as a servant, for a testimony of those things which were afterward to be spoken,
6 Amma Almasihu wo ciya naanaykoy, nga kaŋ ti Ize, Irikoy windo boŋ. Iri no ga ti a windo, d'iri g'iri bine-gaabo d'iri beeja* kaŋ ga ti iri darza gaay nda gaabi hala bananta.
6but Christ is faithful as a Son over his house; whose house we are, if we hold fast our confidence and the glorying of our hope firm to the end.
7 Woodin sabbay se binde, mate kaŋ Biya Hanna go ga ci ka ne: «Hunkuna, d'araŋ maa a jinda,
7Therefore, even as the Holy Spirit says, “Today if you will hear his voice,
8 wa s'araŋ biney sandandi, sanda mate kaŋ cine i te ngey murteyaŋo hane, hano kaŋ hane i n'ay si saajo ra.
8don’t harden your hearts, as in the rebellion, like as in the day of the trial in the wilderness,
9where your fathers tested me by proving me, and saw my works for forty years.
Ay ne: ‹Waati kulu i go ga daray ngey biney ra, I man'ay fondey bay mo.›
10Therefore I was displeased with that generation, and said, ‘They always err in their heart, but they didn’t know my ways;’
11as I swore in my wrath, ‘They will not enter into my rest.’” Psalm 95:7-11
12Beware, brothers, lest perhaps there be in any one of you an evil heart of unbelief, in falling away from the living God;
13but exhort one another day by day, so long as it is called “today”; lest any one of you be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin.
14 Zama iri gonda baa Almasihu ra, da day iri g'iri naanay sintina yaari nda gaabi hala bananta.
14For we have become partakers of Christ, if we hold fast the beginning of our confidence firm to the end:
15 I go ga ne: «Hunkuna, d'araŋ maa a jinde, wa s'araŋ biney sandandi, sanda mate kaŋ cine i te ngey murteyaŋo hane.»
15while it is said, “Today if you will hear his voice, don’t harden your hearts, as in the rebellion.” Psalm 95:7-8
16 Zama may yaŋ no borey kaŋ, waato kaŋ i maa, i murte? Manti ikulu no kaŋ yaŋ fun Misira Musa banda?
16For who, when they heard, rebelled? No, didn’t all those who came out of Egypt by Moses?
17 May yaŋ mo no borey kaŋ se Irikoy futu jiiri waytaaca ra? Manti borey kaŋ yaŋ na zunubi te no ka kaŋ buukoyaŋ saajo ra?
17With whom was he displeased forty years? Wasn’t it with those who sinned, whose bodies fell in the wilderness?
18 May yaŋ se mo no a ze ka ne i si furo nga fulanzamyaŋo ra? To, kala ngey kaŋ yaŋ wangu ganayaŋ.
18To whom did he swear that they wouldn’t enter into his rest, but to those who were disobedient?
19 Iri di mo kaŋ i mana du ka furo, zama i man'a cimandi.
19We see that they were not able to enter in because of unbelief.
