1He said to them, “Most certainly I tell you, there are some standing here who will in no way taste death until they see the Kingdom of God come with power.”
2 Jirbi iddu banda Yesu na Bitros da Yakuba nda Yohanna sambu nga banda ka koy tondi kuuku fo boŋ, ngey hinne. Kala Yesu taka barmay i jine.
2After six days Jesus took with him Peter, James, and John, and brought them up onto a high mountain privately by themselves, and he was changed into another form in front of them.
3 A bankaarayey mo kaari sanda wayna cine, ikwaaray pal-pal da cimi, hala kwaarandiyaŋ hari si no ndunnya ra kaŋ g'i kwaarandi danga woodin cine.
3His clothing became glistening, exceedingly white, like snow, such as no launderer on earth can whiten them.
4 Iliya* nda Musa mo bangay i se, i goono ga salaŋ da Yesu.
4Elijah and Moses appeared to them, and they were talking with Jesus.
5 Bitros tu ka ne Yesu se: «Alfa, iri ne goonoyaŋo wo boori. Iri ma tanda hinza te, afo ni se, afo Musa se, afo mo Iliya se.»
5Peter answered Jesus, “Rabbi, it is good for us to be here. Let’s make three tents: one for you, one for Moses, and one for Elijah.”
6 Zama a mana du sanni kaŋ nga ga ci, zama ikulu humburu gumo.
6For he didn’t know what to say, for they were very afraid.
7 Kala buru fo kaa ka te i se yuumay. Jinde fo mo fun buro ra ka ne: «Boro woone ga ti ay Izo kaŋ ay ga ba gumo. Wa maa a se.»
7A cloud came, overshadowing them, and a voice came out of the cloud, “This is my beloved Son. Listen to him.”
8 I zagu-zagu da waasi ka guna. I mana di boro kulu koyne, kala Yesu hinne i do.
8Suddenly looking around, they saw no one with them any more, except Jesus only.
9 Waato kaŋ i go ga zumbu ka fun tondo boŋ, a n'i lordi ka ne i ma si ci boro kulu se haŋ kaŋ ngey di, kala waati kaŋ nga, Boro Izo tun ka fun buukoy game ra jina.
9As they were coming down from the mountain, he commanded them that they should tell no one what things they had seen, until after the Son of Man had risen from the dead.
10 I na sanno wo yaari, i go ga care miisi ka hã haŋ kaŋ ga ti «tun ka fun buukoy game ra».
10They kept this saying to themselves, questioning what the “rising from the dead” meant.
11 I na Yesu hã ka ne: «Ifo se no asariya dondonandikoy ga ne kala Iliya ma kaa jina?»
11They asked him, saying, “Why do the scribes say that Elijah must come first?”
12 A tu ka ne i se: «Daahir Iliya ga jin ka kaa ka hay kulu ye. Amma mate no i hantum Boro Izo boŋ ka ne a ga maa taabi boobo, i g'a ye yaamo mo?
12He said to them, “Elijah indeed comes first, and restores all things. How is it written about the Son of Man, that he should suffer many things and be despised?
13 Amma ay ga ne araŋ se: Iliya jin ka kaa, i te a se mo haŋ kaŋ kaan ngey se, mate kaŋ i hantum a boŋ.»
13 But I tell you that Elijah has come, and they have also done to him whatever they wanted to, even as it is written about him.”
14 Waato kaŋ i kaa ka to talibi cindey do, i di borey marga bambata goono g'i windi, asariya dondonandikoy mo go no ga kakaw d'ey.
14Coming to the disciples, he saw a great multitude around them, and scribes questioning them.
15 Waato kaŋ jama kulu di Yesu, sahãadin-sahãadin i dambara gumo. I zuru ka kaa a do k'a fo.
15Immediately all the multitude, when they saw him, were greatly amazed, and running to him greeted him.
16 A n'i hã ka ne: «Ifo boŋ no araŋ goono ga kakaw d'ey?»
16He asked the scribes, “What are you asking them?”
17 I ra boro fo tu ka ne: «Alfa, ay kande ay izo ni do kaŋ gonda beebetaray follay.
17One of the multitude answered, “Teacher, I brought to you my son, who has a mute spirit;
18 Nangu kulu kaŋ a ga kaa a gaa mo, a g'a zeeri, nga mo ga kufu kaa nga meyo ra. A ga nga hinjey kanji. A gaahamo kulu go ga suugu mo. Ay salaŋ ni talibey se, i m'a gaaray, amma i sinda dabari.»
18and wherever it seizes him, it throws him down, and he foams at the mouth, and grinds his teeth, and wastes away. I asked your disciples to cast it out, and they weren’t able.”
19 Yesu ne i se: «Ya zamana wo borey kaŋ sinda cimbeeri*! Kala waatifo no ay ga goro araŋ do? Kala waatifo no ay ga suuru nd'araŋ? Wa kand'a ay do.»
19He answered him, “Unbelieving generation, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I bear with you? Bring him to me.”
20 I kand'a Yesu do. Waato kaŋ folla di Yesu, sahãadin-sahãadin a na zanka kuubi-kuubi kal a kaŋ laabo ra. A go ga bimbilko, a meyo mo go ga kufu kaa.
20They brought him to him, and when he saw him, immediately the spirit convulsed him, and he fell on the ground, wallowing and foaming at the mouth.
21 Yesu na baabo hã ka ne: «Za waatifo no woone du a?» A ne: «Za a go zanka.
21He asked his father, “How long has it been since this has come to him?” He said, “From childhood.
22 Sorro boobo a g'a zeeri danji ra nda hari ra zama nga m'a halaci se. Day da ni ga hin ka hay fo te, ma bakar iri se k'iri gaa.»
22Often it has cast him both into the fire and into the water, to destroy him. But if you can do anything, have compassion on us, and help us.”
23 Yesu mo ne a se: «D'ay ga hin! Hay kulu ga hin ka te nga kaŋ ga cimandi se.»
23Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.”
24 Sahãadin-sahãadin zanka baabo na nga jinda sambu ka ne: «Ya Rabbi! Ay ga cimandi! M'ay cimandiyaŋ-jaŋa gaakasinay!»
24Immediately the father of the child cried out with tears, “I believe. Help my unbelief!”
25 Amma waato kaŋ Yesu di borey marga go ga zuru ka margu, a deeni folla gaa ka ne a se: «Ya beebetaray da lututaray folla, ay ga ni lordi ni ma fun a banda. Ma si ye ka kaa a banda koyne.»
25When Jesus saw that a multitude came running together, he rebuked the unclean spirit, saying to him, “You mute and deaf spirit, I command you, come out of him, and never enter him again!”
26 Waato kaŋ a kuuwa ka zanka kuubi-kuubi gumo-gumo, a fun zanka banda. Zanka te sanda buuko, hala borey baayaŋ kulu ne: «A bu.»
26Having cried out, and convulsed greatly, it came out of him. The boy became like one dead; so much that most of them said, “He is dead.”
27 Amma Yesu n'a kamba di k'a tunandi. Zanka mo tun ka kay.
27But Jesus took him by the hand, and raised him up; and he arose.
28 Waato kaŋ Yesu furo fuwo ra, talibey n'a hã labu gaa ka ne: «Ifo se no iri wo mana hin ka folla din gaaray?»
28When he had come into the house, his disciples asked him privately, “Why couldn’t we cast it out?”
29 A ne i se: «Woone dumi si fun da hay kulu kala day adduwa nda mehaw.»
29He said to them, “This kind can come out by nothing, except by prayer and fasting.”
30 I dira noodin ka gana ka bisa Galili ra. Yesu mana yadda boro kulu ma bay nga gaa,
30They went out from there, and passed through Galilee. He didn’t want anyone to know it.

31For he was teaching his disciples, and said to them, “The Son of Man is being handed over to the hands of men, and they will kill him; and when he is killed, on the third day he will rise again.”
32 Amma i mana faham da sanno. I humburu mo ngey m'a hã.
32But they didn’t understand the saying, and were afraid to ask him.
33 Yesu kaa Kafarnahum. Waato kaŋ a go fuwo ra, a na talibey hã ka ne: «Ifo no araŋ goono ga care kakaw d'a fonda ra?»
33He came to Capernaum, and when he was in the house he asked them, “What were you arguing among yourselves on the way?”
34 Amma i dangay, zama i bay kaŋ fonda ra ngey goono ga kakaw care game ra ka ne: «Iri boro woofo no ga ti ibeero?»
34But they were silent, for they had disputed one with another on the way about who was the greatest.
35 Yesu goro ka iway cindi hinka ce ka ne i se: «Boro kulu kaŋ ga ba nga ma ciya ibeeri, a ma ciya ikulu kokor banda ka ikulu saajaw mo.»
35He sat down, and called the twelve; and he said to them, “If any man wants to be first, he shall be last of all, and servant of all.”
36 Kal a na zanka kayna fo sambu k'a kayandi i bindo ra. A n'a ganday ka ne i se:

37 “Whoever receives one such little child in my name, receives me, and whoever receives me, doesn’t receive me, but him who sent me.”
38 Yohanna ne a se: «Alfa, iri di boro fo kaŋ goono ga follayyaŋ gaaray ni maa ra. Iri n'a gaay mo, zama a si ga iri gana.»
38John said to him, “Teacher, we saw someone who doesn’t follow us casting out demons in your name; and we forbade him, because he doesn’t follow us.”
39 Amma Yesu ne: «Wa s'a gaay. Zama boro kulu si no kaŋ ga dabari goy te ay maa ra kaŋ sahãadin-sahãadin mo a g'ay ciinay te da sanni yaamo.
39But Jesus said, “Don’t forbid him, for there is no one who will do a mighty work in my name, and be able quickly to speak evil of me.
40 Zama boro kaŋ si gaaba nda iri, iri do haray no a go.

41 For whoever will give you a cup of water to drink in my name, because you are Christ’s, most certainly I tell you, he will in no way lose his reward.
