1 Waato kaŋ i maan Urusalima, i to Baytfaji, Zeytun* tondo do haray. Gaa no Yesu na nga talibi hinka donton
1When they drew near to Jerusalem, and came to Bethsphage, to the Mount of Olives, then Jesus sent two disciples,
2 ka ne i se: «Wa koy kwaara kaŋ go araŋ jine din ra. Sohõ da araŋ ga di farkay nya fo goono ga haw da nga ize binji kaŋ go a jarga. Araŋ m'i feeri ka kand'ey ay se.
2saying to them, “Go into the village that is opposite you, and immediately you will find a donkey tied, and a colt with her. Untie them, and bring them to me.
3 Da boro fo salaŋ d'araŋ, araŋ ma ne a se: ‹Rabbi no gonda i muraadu.› Sahãadin-sahãadin a ga naŋ i ma kaa.»
3 If anyone says anything to you, you shall say, ‘The Lord needs them,’ and immediately he will send them.”
4 Woodin mo, a te no zama i ma haya toonandi kaŋ i ci annabi me ra kaŋ ne:
4All this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken through the prophet, saying,
5 «Wa ci Sihiyona* ize wayo se ka ne: ‹Guna, ni Bonkoono go kaa ni do. Boŋ baanaykoy no, a go ga goro mo farkay boŋ, farkay binj'izo boŋ.› »
5“Tell the daughter of Zion, behold, your King comes to you, humble, and riding on a donkey, on a colt, the foal of a donkey.”
6 Kala talibey koy ka te sanda mate kaŋ cine Yesu n'i lordi nd'a.
6The disciples went, and did just as Jesus commanded them,
7 I kande farka nda nga ize binjo. I na ngey taafey dake farkayey boŋ, Yesu mo kaaru ka goro.
7and brought the donkey and the colt, and laid their clothes on them; and he sat on them.
8 Marga baayaŋ mo na ngey bankaarayey daaru fonda ra. Afooyaŋ mo soobay ka tuuri kobtoyaŋ kaa ka daaru fonda ra.
8A very great multitude spread their clothes on the road. Others cut branches from the trees, and spread them on the road.
9 Jama kaŋ go a jine ga dira, da borey kaŋ yaŋ go a banda ga kaa, i soobay ka kuuwa ka ne: «Hosanna* Dawda Izo gaa!» «Albarkante no nga kaŋ goono ga kaa Rabbi maa ra!» «Hosanna beene kaŋ bisa ikulu ra!»
9The multitudes who went before him, and who followed kept shouting, “Hosanna to the son of David! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest!”
10 Waato kaŋ a furo Urusalima ra, kwaara kulu laakal tun ka ne: «Ifo no woone wo?»
10When he had come into Jerusalem, all the city was stirred up, saying, “Who is this?”
11 Borey marga mo ne: «Woone annabo* din no, Yesu kaŋ fun Nazara, Galili wano.»
11The multitudes said, “This is the prophet, Jesus, from Nazareth of Galilee.”
12 Yesu furo Irikoy windo ra. A na neerakoy da daykoy gaaray i ma fun Irikoy windo ra. A na nooru barmaykoy taabley tuti ka bare, ngey da koloŋay neerakoy goray nangey mo.
12Jesus entered into the temple of God, and drove out all of those who sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the money changers’ tables and the seats of those who sold the doves.
13 A ne i se: «I n'a hantum ka ne: ‹I ga ne ay windo se adduwa windi.› Amma araŋ n'a bare ka ciya ‹zayyaŋ guusu›.»
13He said to them, “It is written, ‘My house shall be called a house of prayer,’ but you have made it a den of robbers!”
14 Danawey da simbarkoy kaa a do noodin Irikoy windo ra. A na ikulu no baani mo.
14The blind and the lame came to him in the temple, and he healed them.
15 Amma waato kaŋ alfaga beerey da asariya* dondonandikoy di dambara goyey kaŋ Yesu te, da zankey mo kaŋ yaŋ goono ga jinde sambu Irikoy windo ra ka ne: «Hosanna* Dawda Izo gaa!» kal i dukur.
15But when the chief priests and the scribes saw the wonderful things that he did, and the children who were crying in the temple and saying, “Hosanna to the son of David!” they were indignant,
16 I ne a se: «Ni goono ga maa haŋ kaŋ no borey wo goono ga ci, wala?» Yesu mo ne i se: «Oho. Araŋ mana caw ce fo kaŋ ‹Attaciriyey da naanandey me ra no ni na kukuyaŋey toonandi?› »
16and said to him, “Do you hear what these are saying?” Jesus said to them, “Yes. Did you never read, ‘Out of the mouth of babes and nursing babies you have perfected praise?’”
17 Yesu n'i naŋ ka fatta gallo ra. A koy Baytaniya ka kani noodin.
17He left them, and went out of the city to Bethany, and lodged there.
18 A suba mo, za da hinay, kaŋ a goono ga ye kwaara ra, a maa haray.
18Now in the morning, as he returned to the city, he was hungry.
19 A binde di jeejay* nya fo fonda jarga. A kaa a do. Kal a di hay kulu s'a gaa, kala kobtey hinne. Nga mo ne a se: «Ize ma si ye ka fun ni gaa koyne hal abada.» Sahãadin-sahãadin tuuri-nyaŋo koogu.
19Seeing a fig tree by the road, he came to it, and found nothing on it but leaves. He said to it, “Let there be no fruit from you forever!” Immediately the fig tree withered away.
20 Waato kaŋ a talibey di woodin, i dambara ka ne: «Mate no tuuri-nyaŋo wo koogu nd'a sahãadin-sahãadin ya-cine?»
20When the disciples saw it, they marveled, saying, “How did the fig tree immediately wither away?”
21Jesus answered them, “Most certainly I tell you, if you have faith, and don’t doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but even if you told this mountain, ‘Be taken up and cast into the sea,’ it would be done.
22 Hay kulu kaŋ me araŋ ga ŋwaaray adduwa ra, d'araŋ ga cimandi, araŋ ga du a.»
22 All things, whatever you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive.”
23 Waato kaŋ a furo Irikoy windo ra, alfaga beerey da jama arkusey* kaa a do waato kaŋ cine a goono ga borey dondonandi. I ne: «Dabari woofo dumi no ni go ga hayey din te d'a? May ka ni no dabaro wo mo?»
23When he had come into the temple, the chief priests and the elders of the people came to him as he was teaching, and said, “By what authority do you do these things? Who gave you this authority?”
24 Yesu mo tu ka ne i se: «Ay mo g'araŋ hã sanni fo. Wa ci ay se, gaa no ay mo ga ci araŋ se dabari kaŋ dumi no ay goono ga hayey din te d'a.
24Jesus answered them, “I also will ask you one question, which if you tell me, I likewise will tell you by what authority I do these things.
25 Yohanna baptisma*, man no a fun? Irikoy do no, wala borey do?» Kala i saaware ngey nda care game ra ka ne: «D'iri ne: ‹Irikoy do no›, Yesu ga ne iri se: ‹Day, ifo se no araŋ man'a cimandi?›
25 The baptism of John, where was it from? From heaven or from men?” They reasoned with themselves, saying, “If we say, ‘From heaven,’ he will ask us, ‘Why then did you not believe him?’
26 Amma d'iri ne: ‹Borey do no› -- to, iri ga humburu borey marga, zama i goono ga ne Yohanna ya annabi no.»
26But if we say, ‘From men,’ we fear the multitude, for all hold John as a prophet.”
27 I binde tu Yesu se ka ne: «Iri si bay.» Nga mo ne i se: «Ay mo si ci araŋ se dabari kaŋ dumi no ay goono ga hayey din te d'a.
27They answered Jesus, and said, “We don’t know.” He also said to them, “Neither will I tell you by what authority I do these things.
28 Amma ifo no araŋ ga ho? Boro fo no ka bara nda ize alboro hinka. A kaa ijina do ka ne a se: ‹Ay izo, hunkuna ma koy kalo do ka goy.›
28 But what do you think? A man had two sons, and he came to the first, and said, ‘Son, go work today in my vineyard.’
29 Izo ne: ‹Ay si koy.› Amma kokor banda a ye ka tuubi ka koy.
29 He answered, ‘I will not,’ but afterward he changed his mind, and went.
30 Baabo koy ihinkanta do ka ci nga mo se yaadin. Nga mo tu ka ne: ‹To, baaba, ay ga.› Amma a mana koy.
30 He came to the second, and said the same thing. He answered, ‘I go, sir,’ but he didn’t go.
31 To. I boro hinka din ra woofo no ka te haŋ kaŋ i baabo ga ba?» Kal i ne: «E! ijina me!» Yesu ne i se: «Haciika ay ga ne araŋ se: jangal taakoy da kaaruwey g'araŋ jin ka furo Irikoy koytara ra.
31 Which of the two did the will of his father?” They said to him, “The first.” Jesus said to them, “Most certainly I tell you that the tax collectors and the prostitutes are entering into the Kingdom of God before you.
32 Zama Yohanna go, a kaa araŋ do, a go ga cimi goy te, amma araŋ man'a cimandi. Amma jangal taakoy da kaaruwey n'a cimandi. Araŋ mo, waato kaŋ araŋ di woodin, araŋ mana baa kokor ka tuubi k'a cimandi.
32 For John came to you in the way of righteousness, and you didn’t believe him, but the tax collectors and the prostitutes believed him. When you saw it, you didn’t even repent afterward, that you might believe him.
33 Araŋ ma maa misa fo: Waato no boro fo go no, windikoy no. Day a na reyzin* kali tilam. A n'a kali nda sinkita, a na guusu fansi a ra mo reyzin haro kankamyaŋ sabbay se. A na jidan bisa cina ka kalo sufuray goy-teeri fooyaŋ se ka koy laabu fo ra.
33 “Hear another parable. There was a man who was a master of a household, who planted a vineyard, set a hedge about it, dug a winepress in it, built a tower, leased it out to farmers, and went into another country.
34 Waato kaŋ reyzin izey ninyaŋ alwaato to, a na nga bannya fooyaŋ donton goy-teerey din gaa, i ma ta ka kande nga se kalo albarka gaa.
34 When the season for the fruit drew near, he sent his servants to the farmers, to receive his fruit.
35 Amma goy-teerey din na bannyey di. I na afo kar ka tutubu, i na afo mo wi, i na afo catu-catu nda tondiyaŋ.
35 The farmers took his servants, beat one, killed another, and stoned another.
36 Hala hõ a ye ka bannya fooyaŋ donton koyne kaŋ yaŋ baa da ijiney. Ngey mo, yaadin no i te i se.
36 Again, he sent other servants more than the first: and they treated them the same way.
37 Amma kokor banda a na nga izo donton i gaa ka ne: ‹I g'ay izo beerandi.›
37 But afterward he sent to them his son, saying, ‘They will respect my son.’
38 Amma waato kaŋ goy-teerey di izo, i ne ngey nda care se: ‹Woone ya tubukwa no. Wa kaa iri m'a wi ka tubo ta.›
38 But the farmers, when they saw the son, said among themselves, ‘This is the heir. Come, let’s kill him, and seize his inheritance.’
39 I n'a di k'a catu kalo banda k'a wi.
39 So they took him, and threw him out of the vineyard, and killed him.
40 To. Waati kaŋ kali koyo ga kaa, ifo no a ga te goy-teerey din se?»
40 When therefore the lord of the vineyard comes, what will he do to those farmers?”
41 Borey ne a se: «A ga boro yaamey din wi, wiyaŋ laalo, ka kalo sufuray goy-teeri fooyaŋ se, kaŋ yaŋ ga soobay k'a no kalo albarka a ninyaŋ waate.»
41They told him, “He will miserably destroy those miserable men, and will lease out the vineyard to other farmers, who will give him the fruit in its season.”
42 Yesu ne i se: «Day, araŋ mana caw Irikoy Tira Hanney ra ce fo no? I ne: ‹Tondo kaŋ cinakoy wangu, nga no ciya cinaro boŋo. Woodin ya Rabbi te-goy no, dambara hari mo no iri diyaŋ gaa.›
42Jesus said to them, “Did you never read in the Scriptures, ‘The stone which the builders rejected, the same was made the head of the corner. This was from the Lord. It is marvelous in our eyes?’
43 Woodin se no ay ga ne araŋ se: i ga Irikoy koytara ta araŋ gaa, k'a no dumi fo se kaŋ g'a goyo te mate kaŋ a ga hima nd'a.
43 “Therefore I tell you, the Kingdom of God will be taken away from you, and will be given to a nation bringing forth its fruit.
44 Boro kulu kaŋ ga kaŋ tondo din boŋ, a ga ceeri-ceeri, amma boro kaŋ boŋ a ga kaŋ, a g'a fufu k'a te sanda kusa cine.»
44 He who falls on this stone will be broken to pieces, but on whomever it will fall, it will scatter him as dust.”
45 Waato kaŋ alfaga beerey da Farisi fonda borey maa misa kaŋ a te, kal i faham ka bay kaŋ ngey gaa no a go.
45When the chief priests and the Pharisees heard his parables, they perceived that he spoke about them.
46 Amma waati kaŋ i ceeci ngey m'a di, i humburu borey marga, zama i do Yesu ya annabi no.
46When they sought to seize him, they feared the multitudes, because they considered him to be a prophet.
