1 Yesu Almasihu bangandiyaŋ kaŋ Irikoy n'a no zama a m'a bangandi nga tamey se. Hayey neeya kaŋ yaŋ tilas ga haw ka te, kaŋ manti nda gayyaŋ. A donton mo nga malayka* meyo ra, a m'a cabe nga tamo Yohanna se.
1This is the Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show to his servants the things which must happen soon, which he sent and made known by his angel or, messenger (here and wherever angel is mentioned) to his servant, John,
2 Nga no ka seeda no Irikoy sanno nda Yesu Almasihu seeda boŋ, sanda haŋ kaŋ a di kulu.
2who testified to God’s word, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, about everything that he saw.
3 Albarkante no boro kaŋ goono ga caw, da borey kaŋ yaŋ goono ga maa annabitaray sanney wo, kaŋ yaŋ goono ga haggoy da haŋ kaŋ i hantum a ra mo, zama alwaato maan.
3Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of the prophecy, and keep the things that are written in it, for the time is at hand.
4 Ay, Yohanna go ga Almasihu marga iyya kaŋ yaŋ go Aziya laabo ra fo. Gomni nda laakal kanay ma bara araŋ banda kaŋ yaŋ ga fun a do, nga kaŋ go no sohõ, kaŋ go no za doŋ, kaŋ ga kaa mo. I ga fun biya iyya do mo kaŋ go a karga jine.
4John, to the seven assemblies that are in Asia: Grace to you and peace, from God, who is and who was and who is to come; and from the seven Spirits who are before his throne;

5and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To him who loves us, and washed us from our sins by his blood;
6 kaŋ n'iri daŋ mo iri ma ciya koytaray, alfagayaŋ no nga Baabo Irikoy se, darza nda dabari ma bara a se hal abada abadin. Amin!
6and he made us to be a Kingdom, priests Exodus 19:6; Isaiah 61:6 to his God and Father; to him be the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen.
7 Guna, a go kaa da burey nga banda. Mo kulu ga di a, baa ngey kaŋ yaŋ n'a gooru mo. Ndunnya dumey kulu ga baray a sabbay se. Oho, Amin!
7Behold, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, including those who pierced him. All the tribes of the earth will mourn over him. Even so, Amen.
8 Ay no A nda Zed, yaadin no Rabbi Irikoy ci, nga kaŋ go no sohõ, a go no za doŋ, a ga kaa mo, Hina-Kulu-Koyo no.
8 “I am the Alpha and the Omega, TR adds “the Beginning and the End” ” says the Lord God, TR omits “God” “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.”
9 Ay, Yohanna kaŋ ti araŋ nya-izo d'araŋ markasin gurzuga da koytara ra, da kookaro gaa kaŋ go Yesu ra, ay go gungo kaŋ se i ga ne Batmus ra, Irikoy sanno da Yesu seeda sabbay se.
9I John, your brother and partner with you in oppression, Kingdom, and perseverance in Christ Jesus, was on the isle that is called Patmos because of God’s Word and the testimony of Jesus Christ.
10 Ay bara Biya ra Rabbi zaaro hane. Kal ay maa jinde beeri fo ay banda sanda hilli wane cine.
10I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s day, and I heard behind me a loud voice, like a trumpet
11 A ne: «Haŋ kaŋ ni ga di, m'a hantum tira ra. M'a samba Almasihu marga iyya din se: Afasos, da Samurna, da Birgamos, da Tiyatira, da Sardisu, da Filadelfiya, da Lawodisiya se.»
11saying, “ TR adds “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last.” What you see, write in a book and send to the seven assemblies TR adds “which are in Asia” : to Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamum, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia, and to Laodicea.”

12I turned to see the voice that spoke with me. Having turned, I saw seven golden lampstands.
13 Fitilla suntuley game ra mo, boro fo go no kaŋ ga hima Boro* Izo. A gonda kwaay kaŋ ga to a se kala ce taamey gaa, wura guddama mo go ga haw a ganda gaa.
13And among the lampstands was one like a son of man, Daniel 7:13 clothed with a robe reaching down to his feet, and with a golden sash around his chest.
14 Boŋo d'a boŋ hamno mo ga kwaaray sanda feeji hamni cine, sanda neezu* cine, a moy mo go danga danji beele cine.
14His head and his hair were white as white wool, like snow. His eyes were like a flame of fire.
15 A cey mo, sanda guuru-say kaŋ go ga ciray farme me ra. A jinda ga hima hari zuru boobo jinde.
15His feet were like burnished brass, as if it had been refined in a furnace. His voice was like the voice of many waters.
16 Kambe ŋwaaro ra mo a gonda handariyayze iyye. A meyo ra mo takuba kaano goono ga fatta. A moyduma mo ga hima wayna alwaati kaŋ a goono ga kaari da nga gaabo.
16He had seven stars in his right hand. Out of his mouth proceeded a sharp two-edged sword. His face was like the sun shining at its brightest.
17 Alwaato kaŋ ay di a, ay kaŋ a cey do sanda buuko. A na nga kambe ŋwaaro dak'ay boŋ ka ne ay se: «Ma si humburu! Ay no Sintina nda Bananta.
17When I saw him, I fell at his feet like a dead man. He laid his right hand on me, saying, “Don’t be afraid. I am the first and the last,
18 Ay no Fundikoono. Ay bu, guna mo ay gonda fundi hal abada abadin. Ay gonda buuyaŋ da Alaahara saaf'izey mo.
18 and the Living one. I was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore. Amen. I have the keys of Death and of Hades or, Hell .
19 Yaadin gaa, haŋ kaŋ ni di, da haŋ kaŋ go no sohõ, da haŋ kaŋ ga aniya ka te hayey din banda, m'i hantum.
19 Write therefore the things which you have seen, and the things which are, and the things which will happen hereafter;
20 Handariyayze iyya din kaŋ ni di ay kambe ŋwaaro ra, da wura fitilla suntulu iyya din mo, i gundo neeya: Handariyayze iyya din ga ti Almasihu marga iyya diyey, fitilla suntulu iyya din mo ga ti Almasihu marga iyya.»
20 the mystery of the seven stars which you saw in my right hand, and the seven golden lampstands. The seven stars are the angels or, messengers (here and wherever angels are mentioned) of the seven assemblies. The seven lampstands are seven assemblies.
