1 Ay di alman laalo fo goono ga fun teeko ra kaŋ gonda hilli way da boŋ iyye. A hilley boŋ mo a gonda koytaray fuula way. A boŋey gaa mo a gonda Irikoy alaasiray maayaŋ.
1Then I stood on the sand of the sea. I saw a beast coming up out of the sea, having ten horns and seven heads. On his horns were ten crowns, and on his heads, blasphemous names.
2 Alman laala kaŋ ay di mo ga hima mari, a cey mo d'a ce camsey ga hima urs* waney, a meyo mo ga hima muusu beeri wano. Dodo-beero mo n'a no nga dabaro da nga karga da hin beeri.
2The beast which I saw was like a leopard, and his feet were like those of a bear, and his mouth like the mouth of a lion. The dragon gave him his power, his throne, and great authority.
3 Ay di a boŋ fo, danga i n'a kar buuyaŋ goobu, amma a buuyaŋ goobo biyo yay. Ndunnya kulu dambara nda alman laala din.
3One of his heads looked like it had been wounded fatally. His fatal wound was healed, and the whole earth marveled at the beast.
4 I sududu dodo-beero se, zama a na nga hino no alman laala se. I sududu alman laala se mo ka ne: «May no to alman laalo wo cine? May no ga hin a ma wongu nd'a?»
4They worshiped the dragon, because he gave his authority to the beast, and they worshiped the beast, saying, “Who is like the beast? Who is able to make war with him?”
5 I n'a no me mo kaŋ ga hari bambata yaŋ da alaasiray sanniyaŋ salaŋ. I n'a no hin mo a ma nga goyo te hala handu waytaaci cindi hinka.
5A mouth speaking great things and blasphemy was given to him. Authority to make war for forty-two months was given to him.
6 A na nga meyo fiti zama nga ma Irikoy kayna, k'a maa d'a nangora kayna, da borey kaŋ yaŋ goono ga goro beena ra mo.
6He opened his mouth for blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his dwelling, those who dwell in heaven.
7 I yadda a se mo a ma wongu nda hanantey, a ma te zaama nd'ey mo. I n'a no hin mo a ma kunda kulu, da jama kulu, da deene kulu da dumi kulu may.
7It was given to him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them. Authority over every tribe, people, language, and nation was given to him.
8 Ndunnya gorokoy kulu mo ga sududu a se, sanda boro kulu kaŋ i man'a maa hantum Feej'izo fundi tira ra, nga kaŋ i wi za ndunnya sinjiyaŋo gaa.
8All who dwell on the earth will worship him, everyone whose name has not been written from the foundation of the world in the book of life of the Lamb who has been killed.
9 Boro kulu kaŋ gonda hanga ma maa.
9If anyone has an ear, let him hear.
10 Boro kulu kaŋ i waadu tamtaray se, tamtaray ra no a ga koy. Boro kulu kaŋ ga wi nda takuba, tilas, takuba mo no i g'a wi nd'a. Noodin mo no hanantey suuro d'i cimbeero go.
10If anyone is to go into captivity, he will go into captivity. If anyone is to be killed with the sword, he must be killed. TR reads “If anyone leads into captivity, into captivity he goes. If anyone will kill with the sword, he must be killed with a sword.” instead of “If anyone has captivity, he will go into captivity. If anyone is with the sword, he must be killed.” Here is the endurance and the faith of the saints.
11 Ay di alman fo mo goono ga fun ganda laabo ra. A gonda hilli hinka sanda feej'ize wane cine. A goono ga salaŋ mo sanda dodo-beero cine.
11I saw another beast coming up out of the earth. He had two horns like a lamb, and he spoke like a dragon.
12 Alman sintina hino kulu no a goono ga goy d'a a jine. A goono ga ndunnya nda nga gorokoy kulu daŋ i ma sududu alman sintina se, nga kaŋ a buuyaŋ goobo biyo yay.
12He exercises all the authority of the first beast in his presence. He makes the earth and those who dwell in it to worship the first beast, whose fatal wound was healed.
13 A goono ga alaama bambata yaŋ te, hal a ga naŋ danji ma fun beene ka kaa ndunnya boŋ borey jine.
13He performs great signs, even making fire come down out of the sky to the earth in the sight of people.
14 A goono ga ndunnya gorokoy halli mo da alaamey kaŋ i n'a no a ma te alman laala jine, ka ne ndunnya gorokoy se i ma alman laala kaŋ takuba maray din kaŋ funa mo himandi fo te.
14He deceives my own NU omits “my own” people who dwell on the earth because of the signs he was granted to do in front of the beast; saying to those who dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast who had the sword wound and lived.
15 I n'a no dabari mo a ma fundi daŋ alman himando gaa zama alman himando ma salaŋ, hala mo a ma naŋ i ma borey kulu wi kaŋ si sududu alman himando se.
15It was given to him to give breath to it, to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause as many as wouldn’t worship the image of the beast to be killed.
16 Koyne, a ga naŋ i ma no borey kulu se, ikayney da ibeerey, arzakantey da talkey, burciney da bannyey, i ma du seeda ngey kambe ŋwaarey gaa wala i sukutey gaa.
16He causes all, the small and the great, the rich and the poor, and the free and the slave, to be given marks on their right hands, or on their foreheads;
17 Boro kulu mo si hin ka day wala ka neera kala nga kaŋ gonda seeda din, sanda alman laala maa wala a maa lamba.
17and that no one would be able to buy or to sell, unless he has that mark, the name of the beast or the number of his name.
18 Neewo no laakal ga bara: boro kaŋ gonda fahamay ma alman laala lamba lasaabu, zama Adam-ize lamba no. A lamba mo neeya: zangu iddu nda waydu cindi iddu.
18Here is wisdom. He who has understanding, let him calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man. His number is six hundred sixty-six.
