1 Alwaato kaŋ a na kawaatimi iyyanta feeri, kal dangayyaŋ te beena ra kaŋ to guuru jare cine.
1When he opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour.
2 Ay di mo malayka iyya din kaŋ ga kay Irikoy jine. I n'i no hilli iyye kaŋ i ga kar.
2I saw the seven angels who stand before God, and seven trumpets were given to them.
3 Kala malayka fo mo kaa ka kay sargay feema do, a gonda wura cambu fo. I n'a no dugu boobo mo, zama a m'a dooru hanantey kulu adduwey banda wura sargay feema boŋ kaŋ go karga jine.
3Another angel came and stood over the altar, having a golden censer. Much incense was given to him, that he should add it to the prayers of all the saints on the golden altar which was before the throne.
4 Dugo dullo da hanantey adduwey ziji ka koy care banda Irikoy jine, ka fun malayka din kamba ra.
4The smoke of the incense, with the prayers of the saints, went up before God out of the angel’s hand.
5 Malayka mo na cambo sambu k'a toonandi nda sargay feema danjo, k'a catu ndunnya boŋ. A banda mo kala kaatiyaŋ, da jindeyaŋ, da nyalawyaŋ, da laabu zinjiyaŋ no ka te.
5The angel took the censer, and he filled it with the fire of the altar, and threw it on the earth. There followed thunders, sounds, lightnings, and an earthquake.
6 Malayka iyya din mo kaŋ gonda hilli iyya kaŋ i ga kar soola karyaŋ se.
6The seven angels who had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound.
7 Sintina wano kar. Kala gari, da danji da kuri go margante care banda, i n'i catu mo ndunnya boŋ. Ndunnya kanandi hinza ra afo ton. Tuuri nya kanandi hinza ra afo ton, subu tayo kulu mo ton.
7The first sounded, and there followed hail and fire, mixed with blood, and they were thrown to the earth. One third of the earth was burnt up, TR omits “One third of the earth was burnt up” and one third of the trees were burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up.
8 Malayka hinkanta mo kar. Kal i na hay fo kaŋ ga hima tondi bambata kaŋ danji go ga ŋwa jindaw teeko ra. Teeko kanandi hinza ra afo bare ka te kuri.
8The second angel sounded, and something like a great burning mountain was thrown into the sea. One third of the sea became blood,
9 Teeko ra takahari kaŋ yaŋ gonda fundi, i kanandi hinza ra afo bu. Hiyey ra mo kanandi hinza ra, kanandi fo halaci.
9and one third of the living creatures which were in the sea died. One third of the ships were destroyed.
10 Malayka hinzanta mo kar. Kala handariyayze beeri fo fun beena ra ka kaŋ. A goono ga di sanda yulba danji cine. A fun ka kaŋ isa kanandi hinza ra afo boŋ, da hari-moy boŋ.
10The third angel sounded, and a great star fell from the sky, burning like a torch, and it fell on one third of the rivers, and on the springs of the waters.
11 Handariyayzo din maa ga ti Absint*, _(danga fotti nooya)|_. Hari kanandi hinza ra afo bare ka fottu, boro boobo mo bu haro sabbay se, zama a ciya ifotto.
11The name of the star is called “Wormwood.” One third of the waters became wormwood. Many people died from the waters, because they were made bitter.
12 Malayka taacanta mo kar. Kal i na wayna kanandi hinza ra afo kar, da hando da handariyayzey mo, i kanandi hinza ra afo. Hal i kanandi hinza ra afo ma ciya kubay, zaaro mo, a kanandi hinza ra afo ma si kaari, cino mo yaadin.
12The fourth angel sounded, and one third of the sun was struck, and one third of the moon, and one third of the stars; so that one third of them would be darkened, and the day wouldn’t shine for one third of it, and the night in the same way.
13 Ay guna mo, ay maa mo zeeban fo goono ga deesi beene batama bindo ra. A goono ga ne nda jinde beeri: «Kaari, kaari, kaari! ndunnya gorokoy se, hilli cindey jindey sabbay se kaŋ malayka hinza din ga ba ka kar.»
13I saw, and I heard an eagle, TR reads “angel” instead of “eagle” flying in mid heaven, saying with a loud voice, “Woe! Woe! Woe for those who dwell on the earth, because of the other voices of the trumpets of the three angels, who are yet to sound!”
