1அப்பொழுது யோசேப்பு தன் அருகே நின்ற எல்லாருக்கும் முன்பாகத் தன்னை அடக்கிக்கொண்டிருக்கக்கூடாமல்: யாவரையும் என்னைவிட்டு வெளியே போகப்பண்ணுங்கள் என்று கட்டளையிட்டான். யோசேப்பு தன் சகோதரருக்குத் தன்னை வெளிப்படுத்துகையில், ஒருவரும் அவன் அருகில் நிற்கவில்லை.
1Then Joseph couldn’t control himself before all those who stood before him, and he cried, “Cause everyone to go out from me!” No one else stood with him, while Joseph made himself known to his brothers.
2அவன் சத்தமிட்டு அழுதான்; அதை எகிப்தியர் கேட்டார்கள், பார்வோனின் வீட்டாரும் கேட்டார்கள்.
2He wept aloud. The Egyptians heard, and the house of Pharaoh heard.
3யோசேப்பு தன் சகோதரரைப்பார்த்து: நான் யோசேப்பு; என் தகப்பனார் இன்னும் உயிரோடே இருக்கிறாரா என்றான். அவனுடைய சகோதரர் அவனுக்கு முன்பாகக் கலக்கமுற்றிருந்ததினாலே, அவனுக்கு உத்தரம் சொல்லக்கூடாமல் இருந்தார்கள்.
3Joseph said to his brothers, “I am Joseph! Does my father still live?” His brothers couldn’t answer him; for they were terrified at his presence.
4அப்பொழுது யோசேப்பு தன் சகோதரரை நோக்கி: என் கிட்ட வாருங்கள் என்றான். அவர்கள் கிட்டப்போனார்கள்; அப்பொழுது அவன்: நீங்கள் எகிப்துக்குப் போகிறவர்களிடத்தில் விற்றுப்போட்ட உங்கள் சகோதரனாகிய யோசேப்பு நான்தான்.
4Joseph said to his brothers, “Come near to me, please.” They came near. “He said, I am Joseph, your brother, whom you sold into Egypt.
5என்னை இவ்விடத்தில் வரும்படி விற்றுப்போட்டதினால், நீங்கள் சஞ்சலப்படவேண்டாம்; அது உங்களுக்கு விசனமாயிருக்கவும் வேண்டாம்; ஜீவரட்சணை செய்யும்படிக்குத் தேவன் என்னை உங்களுக்கு முன்னே அனுப்பினார்.
5Now don’t be grieved, nor angry with yourselves, that you sold me here, for God sent me before you to preserve life.
6தேசத்தில் இப்பொழுது இரண்டு வருஷமாகப் பஞ்சம் உண்டாயிருக்கிறது; இன்னும் ஐந்து வருஷம் உழவும் அறுப்பும் இல்லாமல் பஞ்சம் இருக்கும்.
6For these two years the famine has been in the land, and there are yet five years, in which there will be neither plowing nor harvest.
7பூமியிலே உங்கள் வம்சம் ஒழியாமலிருக்க உங்களை ஆதரிக்கிறதற்காகவும், பெரிய ரட்சிப்பினால் உங்களை உயிரோடே காப்பதற்காகவும் தேவன் என்னை உங்களுக்கு முன்னமே அனுப்பினார்.
7God sent me before you to preserve for you a remnant in the earth, and to save you alive by a great deliverance.
8ஆதலால் நீங்கள் அல்ல, தேவனே என்னை இவ்விடத்துக்கு அனுப்பி, என்னைப் பார்வோனுக்குத் தகப்பனாகவும், அவர் குடும்பம் அனைத்திற்கும் கர்த்தனாகவும், எகிப்துதேசம் முழுதுக்கும் அதிபதியாகவும் வைத்தார்.
8So now it wasn’t you who sent me here, but God, and he has made me a father to Pharaoh, lord of all his house, and ruler over all the land of Egypt.
9நீங்கள் சீக்கிரமாய் என் தகப்பனிடத்தில் போய்: தேவன் என்னை எகிப்துதேசம் முழுவதுக்கும் அதிபதியாக வைத்தார்; என்னிடத்தில் வாரும், தாமதிக்க வேண்டாம்.
9Hurry, and go up to my father, and tell him, ‘This is what your son Joseph says, “God has made me lord of all Egypt. Come down to me. Don’t wait.
10நீரும், உம்முடைய பிள்ளைகளும், அவர்களுடைய பிள்ளைகளும், உம்முடைய ஆடுமாடுகளோடும் உமக்கு உண்டாயிருக்கிற யாவற்றோடும் கோசேன் நாட்டில் வாசம்பண்ணி என் சமீபத்தில் இருக்கலாம்.
10You shall dwell in the land of Goshen, and you will be near to me, you, your children, your children’s children, your flocks, your herds, and all that you have.
11உமக்கும் உம்முடைய குடும்பத்தாருக்கும் உமக்கு இருக்கிற யாவற்றிற்கும் வறுமை வராதபடிக்கு, அங்கே உம்மைப் பராமரிப்பேன்; இன்னும் ஐந்து வருஷம் பஞ்சம் இருக்கும் என்று, உம்முடைய குமாரனாகிய யோசேப்பு சொல்லச்சொன்னான் என்று சொல்லுங்கள்.
11There I will nourish you; for there are yet five years of famine; lest you come to poverty, you, and your household, and all that you have.”’
12இதோ, உங்களோடே பேசுகிற வாய் என் வாய்தான் என்பதை உங்கள் கண்களும் என் தம்பியாகிய பென்யமீனின் கண்களும் காண்கிறதே.
12Behold, your eyes see, and the eyes of my brother Benjamin, that it is my mouth that speaks to you.
13எகிப்திலே எனக்கு உண்டாயிருக்கிற சகல மகிமையையும், நீங்கள் கண்ட யாவையும் என் தகப்பனுக்கு அறிவித்து, அவர் சீக்கிரமாய் இவ்விடத்துக்கு வரும்படி செய்யுங்கள் என்று சொல்லி;
13You shall tell my father of all my glory in Egypt, and of all that you have seen. You shall hurry and bring my father down here.”
14தன் தம்பியாகிய பென்யமீனின் கழுத்தைக் கட்டிக்கொண்டு அழுதான்; பென்யமீனும் அவன் கழுத்தைக் கட்டிக்கொண்டு அழுதான்.
14He fell on his brother Benjamin’s neck, and wept, and Benjamin wept on his neck.
15பின்பு தன் சகோதரர் யாவரையும் முத்தஞ்செய்து, அவர்களையும் கட்டிக்கொண்டு அழுதான். அதற்குப்பின் அவன் சகோதரர் அவனோடே சம்பாஷித்தார்கள்.
15He kissed all his brothers, and wept on them. After that his brothers talked with him.
16யோசேப்பின் சகோதரர் வந்தார்கள் என்கிற சமாசாரம் பார்வோன் அரமனையில் பிரசித்தமானபோது, பார்வோனும் அவனுடைய ஊழியக்காரரும் சந்தோஷம் அடைந்தார்கள்.
16The report of it was heard in Pharaoh’s house, saying, “Joseph’s brothers have come.” It pleased Pharaoh well, and his servants.
17பார்வோன் யோசேப்பை நோக்கி: நீ உன் சகோதரரோடே சொல்லவேண்டியது என்னவென்றால்: உங்கள் கழுதைகளின்மேல் பொதியேற்றிக்கொண்டு புறப்பட்டு, கானான்தேசத்துக்குப் போய்,
17Pharaoh said to Joseph, “Tell your brothers, ‘Do this. Load your animals, and go, travel to the land of Canaan.
18உங்கள் தகப்பனையும் உங்கள் குடும்பத்தாரையும் கூட்டிக்கொண்டு, என்னிடத்தில் வாருங்கள், நான் உங்களுக்கு எகிப்துதேசத்தின் நன்மையைத் தருவேன்; தேசத்தின் கொழுமையைச் சாப்பிடுவீர்கள்.
18Take your father and your households, and come to me, and I will give you the good of the land of Egypt, and you will eat the fat of the land.’
19நீங்கள் உங்கள் குழந்தைகளுக்காகவும் உங்கள் மனைவிகளுக்காகவும் வண்டிகளை எகிப்துதேசத்திலிருந்து கொண்டுபோய், அவர்களையும் உங்கள் தகப்பனுடனே ஏற்றிக்கொண்டு வாருங்கள்.
19Now you are commanded: do this. Take wagons out of the land of Egypt for your little ones, and for your wives, and bring your father, and come.
20உங்கள் தட்டுமுட்டுகளைக் குறித்துக் கவலைப்படவேண்டாம்; எகிப்துதேசமெங்குமுள்ள நன்மை உங்களுடையாதாயிருக்கும் என்று சொல்லச் சொல்லி, உனக்கு நான் இட்ட கட்டளைப்படியே செய் என்றான்.
20Also, don’t concern yourselves about your belongings, for the good of all of the land of Egypt is yours.”
21இஸ்ரவேலின் குமாரர் அப்படியே செய்தார்கள், யோசேப்பு பார்வோனுடைய கட்டளையின்படியே அவர்களுக்கு வண்டிகளைக் கொடுத்ததுமன்றி, வழிக்கு ஆகாரத்தையும்,
21The sons of Israel did so. Joseph gave them wagons, according to the commandment of Pharaoh, and gave them provision for the way.
22அவர்களில் ஒவ்வொருவனுக்கும் மாற்று வஸ்திரங்களையும் கொடுத்தான்; பென்யமீனுக்கோ முந்நூறு வெள்ளிக்காசையும் ஐந்து மாற்று வஸ்திரங்களையும் கொடுத்தான்.
22He gave each one of them changes of clothing, but to Benjamin he gave three hundred pieces of silver and five changes of clothing.
23அப்படியே தன் தகப்பனுக்குப் பத்துக் கழுதைகளின்மேல் எகிப்தின் உச்சிதமான பதார்த்தங்களும், பத்துக் கோளிகைக் கழுதைகளின்மேல் தன் தகப்பனுக்காக வழிக்குத் தானியமும் அப்பமும் மற்றத் தின்பண்டங்களும் ஏற்றி அனுப்பினான்.
23He sent the following to his father: ten donkeys loaded with the good things of Egypt, and ten female donkeys loaded with grain and bread and provision for his father by the way.
24மேலும், நீங்கள் போகும் வழியிலே சண்டைபண்ணிக்கொள்ளாதிருங்கள் என்று அவன் தன் சகோதரருக்குச் சொல்லி அனுப்பினான்; அவர்கள் புறப்பட்டுப்போனார்கள்.
24So he sent his brothers away, and they departed. He said to them, “See that you don’t quarrel on the way.”
25அவர்கள் எகிப்திலிருந்து போய், கானான்தேசத்திலே தங்கள் தகப்பனாகிய யாக்கோபினிடத்தில் வந்து:
25They went up out of Egypt, and came into the land of Canaan, to Jacob their father.
26யோசேப்பு உயிரோடிருக்கிறான், அவன் எகிப்துதேசத்துக்கெல்லாம் அதிபதியாயிருக்கிறான் என்று அவனுக்கு அறிவித்தார்கள். அவன் இருதயம் மூர்ச்சை அடைந்தது; அவன் அவர்களை நம்பவில்லை.
26They told him, saying, “Joseph is still alive, and he is ruler over all the land of Egypt.” His heart fainted, for he didn’t believe them.
27அவர்கள் யோசேப்பு தங்களுடனே சொன்ன வார்த்தைகள் யாவையும் அவனுக்குச் சொன்னபோதும், தன்னை ஏற்றிக்கொண்டு போகும்படி யோசேப்பு அனுப்பின வண்டிகளை அவன் கண்டபோதும், அவர்களுடைய தகப்பனாகிய யாக்கோபின் ஆவி உயிர்த்தது.
27They told him all the words of Joseph, which he had said to them. When he saw the wagons which Joseph had sent to carry him, the spirit of Jacob, their father, revived.
28அப்பொழுது இஸ்ரவேல்: என் குமாரனாகிய யோசேப்பு இன்னும் உயிரோடிருக்கிறானே, இது போதும்; நான் மரணமடையுமுன்னே போய் அவனைப் பார்ப்பேன் என்றான்.
28Israel said, “It is enough. Joseph my son is still alive. I will go and see him before I die.”
