¹கர்த்தர் மோசேயை நோக்கி:

¹Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,

²நீ இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரோடே சொல்லவேண்டியது என்னவென்றால்: நீங்கள் குடியிருக்கும்படி நான் உங்களுக்குக் கொடுக்கும் தேசத்தில் நீங்கள் போய்ச் சேர்ந்த பின்பு,

²“Speak to the children of Israel, and tell them, ‘When you have come into the land of your habitations, which I give to you,

³விசேஷித்த பொருத்தனையாயாவது, உற்சாக பலியாயாவது, உங்கள் பண்டிகைகளில் செலுத்தும் பலியாயாவது, கர்த்தருக்கு மாடுகளிலாகிலும் ஆடுகளிலாகிலும் சர்வாங்கதகனபலியையாவது மற்ற யாதொரு பலியையாவது கர்த்தருக்குச் சுகந்த வாசனையான தகனமாகப் பலியிடும்போது,

³and will make an offering by fire to Yahweh, a burnt offering, or a sacrifice, to accomplish a vow, or as a freewill offering, or in your set feasts, to make a pleasant aroma to Yahweh, of the herd, or of the flock;

⁴தன் படைப்பைக் கர்த்தருக்குச் செலுத்துகிறவன் சர்வாங்கதகனபலிக்காகிலும் மற்றப் பலிக்காகிலும் ஒரு ஆட்டுக்குட்டியுடனே, ஒரு மரக்காலிலே பத்தில் ஒரு பங்கும் காற்படி எண்ணெயிலே பிசைந்ததுமான மெல்லிய மாவின் போஜனபலியைச் செலுத்தக்கடவன்.

⁴then he who offers his offering shall offer to Yahweh a meal offering of a tenth part of an ephah of fine flour mixed with the fourth part of a hin of oil:

⁵பானபலியாக காற்படி திராட்சரசத்தையும் படைக்கவேண்டும்.

⁵and wine for the drink offering, the fourth part of a hin, you shall prepare with the burnt offering, or for the sacrifice, for each lamb.

⁶ஆட்டுக்கடாவாயிருந்ததேயாகில், பத்தில் இரண்டு பங்கானதும், ஒரு படியில் மூன்றில் ஒரு பங்காகிய எண்ணெயிலே பிசைந்ததுமான மெல்லியமாவின் போஜனபலியையும்,

⁶“‘Or for a ram, you shall prepare for a meal offering two tenth parts of an ephah of fine flour mixed with the third part of a hin of oil:

⁷பானபலியாக ஒரு படியில் மூன்றில் ஒரு பங்கு திராட்சரசத்தையும் கர்த்தருக்குச் சுகந்த வாசனையான படைப்பாகப் படைக்கவேண்டும்.

⁷and for the drink offering you shall offer the third part of a hin of wine, of a pleasant aroma to Yahweh.

⁸நீ சர்வாங்கதகனபலிக்காகிலும், விசேஷித்த பொருத்தனைபலிக்காகிலும், சமாதானபலிக்காகிலும், ஒரு காளையைக் கர்த்தருக்குச் செலுத்த ஆயத்தப்படுத்தும்போது,

⁸When you prepare a bull for a burnt offering, or for a sacrifice, to accomplish a vow, or for peace offerings to Yahweh;

⁹அதனோடே பத்தில் மூன்றுபங்கானதும், அரைப்படி எண்ணெயிலே பிசைந்ததுமான மெல்லிய மாவின் போஜனபலியையும்,

⁹then shall he offer with the bull a meal offering of three tenth parts of an ephah of fine flour mixed with half a hin of oil:

¹⁰பானபலியாக அரைப்படி திராட்சரசத்தையும், கர்த்தருக்குச் சுகந்த வாசனையான தகனபலியாகப் படைக்கவேண்டும்.

¹⁰and you shall offer for the drink offering half a hin of wine, for an offering made by fire, of a pleasant aroma to Yahweh.

¹¹இந்தப்பிரகாரமாகவே ஒவ்வொரு மாட்டுக்காகிலும், ஆட்டுக்கடாவுக்காகிலும், செம்மறியாட்டுக் குட்டிக்காகிலும், வெள்ளாட்டுக் குட்டிக்காகிலும் செய்து படைக்கவேண்டும்.

¹¹Thus shall it be done for each bull, or for each ram, or for each of the male lambs, or of the young goats.

¹²நீங்கள் படைக்கிறவைகளின் இலக்கத்திற்குத்தக்கதாய், ஒவ்வொன்றிற்காகவும் இந்தப் பிரகாரம் செய்யவேண்டும்.

¹²According to the number that you shall prepare, so you shall do to everyone according to their number.

¹³சுதேசத்தில் பிறந்தவர்கள் யாவரும் கர்த்தருக்குச் சுகந்த வாசனையான தகனபலியைச் செலுத்தும்போது இவ்விதமாகவே செய்யவேண்டும்.

¹³“‘All who are native-born shall do these things in this way, in offering an offering made by fire, of a pleasant aroma to Yahweh.

¹⁴உங்களிடத்திலே தங்கியிருக்கிற அந்நியனாவது, உங்கள் நடுவிலே உங்கள் தலைமுறைதோறும் குடியிருக்கிறவனாவது, கர்த்தருக்குச் சுகந்த வாசனையான தகனபலி செலுத்தவேண்டுமானால், நீங்கள் செய்கிறபடியே அவனும் செய்யவேண்டும்.

¹⁴If a stranger lives as a foreigner with you, or whoever may be among you throughout your generations, and will offer an offering made by fire, of a pleasant aroma to Yahweh; as you do, so he shall do.

¹⁵சபையாராகிய உங்களுக்கும் உங்களிடத்தில் தங்குகிற அந்நியனுக்கும் ஒரே பிரமாணம் இருக்கவேண்டும் என்பது உங்கள் தலைமுறைகளில் நித்திய கட்டளையாயிருக்கக்கடவது; கர்த்தருக்கு முன்பாக அந்நியனும் உங்களைப்போலவே இருக்கவேண்டும்.

¹⁵For the assembly, there shall be one statute for you, and for the stranger who lives as a foreigner, a statute forever throughout your generations: as you are, so shall the foreigner be before Yahweh.

¹⁶உங்களுக்கும் உங்களிடத்தில் தங்குகிற அந்நியனுக்கும் ஒரே பிரமாணமும் ஒரே முறைமையும் இருக்கக்கடவது என்று சொல் என்றார்.

¹⁶One law and one ordinance shall be for you, and for the stranger who lives as a foreigner with you.’”

¹⁷பின்னும் கர்த்தர் மோசேயை நோக்கி:

¹⁷Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,

¹⁸நீ இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரோடே சொல்லவேண்டியது என்னவென்றால்: நான் உங்களை அழைத்துக்கொண்டுபோகிற தேசத்தில் நீங்கள் சேர்ந்து,

¹⁸“Speak to the children of Israel, and tell them, ‘When you come into the land where I bring you,

¹⁹தேசத்தின் ஆகாரத்தைப் புசிக்கும்போது, கர்த்தருக்கு ஏறெடுத்துப் படைக்கும் காணிக்கையைச் செலுத்தக்கடவீர்கள்.

¹⁹then it shall be that when you eat of the bread of the land, you shall offer up a wave offering to Yahweh.

²⁰உங்கள் பிசைந்த மாவினால் செய்த முதற்பலனாகிய அதிரசத்தை ஏறெடுத்துப் படைப்பீர்களாக; போரடிக்கிற களத்தின் படைப்பை ஏறெடுத்துப் படைக்கிறதுபோல அதையும் ஏறெடுத்துப்படைக்கவேண்டும்.

²⁰Of the first of your dough you shall offer up a cake for a wave offering: as the wave offering of the threshing floor, so you shall heave it.

²¹இப்படி உங்கள் தலைமுறைதோறும் உங்கள் பிசைந்த மாவின் முதற்பலனிலே கர்த்தருக்குப் படைப்பை ஏறெடுத்துப்படைக்கக்கடவீர்கள்.

²¹Of the first of your dough you shall give to Yahweh a wave offering throughout your generations.

²²கர்த்தர் மோசேயினிடத்தில் சொன்ன இந்தக் கற்பனைகள் எல்லாவற்றின்படியும்,

²²“‘When you shall err, and not observe all these commandments, which Yahweh has spoken to Moses,

²³கர்த்தர் மோசேயைக்கொண்டு கட்டளைகொடுத்த நாள்முதற்கொண்டு அவர் உங்களுக்கும் உங்கள் சந்ததிகளுக்கும் நியமித்த எல்லாவற்றின்படியேயும் நீங்கள் செய்யாமல்,

²³even all that Yahweh has commanded you by Moses, from the day that Yahweh gave commandment, and onward throughout your generations;

²⁴அறியாமல் தவறி நடந்தாலும், சபையாருக்குத் தெரியாமல் யாதொரு தப்பிதம் செய்தாலும், சபையார் எல்லாரும் கர்த்தருக்குச் சுகந்த வாசனையான தகனபலியாக ஒரு காளையையும், முறைமைப்படி அதற்கேற்ற போஜனபலியையும், பானபலியையும், பாவநிவாரணபலியாக ஒரு வெள்ளாட்டுக்கடாவையும் செலுத்தவேண்டும்.

²⁴then it shall be, if it be done unwittingly, without the knowledge of the congregation, that all the congregation shall offer one young bull for a burnt offering, for a pleasant aroma to Yahweh, with the meal offering of it, and the drink offering of it, according to the ordinance, and one male goat for a sin offering.

²⁵அதினால் ஆசாரியன் இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரின் சபையனைத்திற்காகவும் பாவநிவிர்த்தி செய்யக்கடவன்; அது அறியாமையினால் செய்யப்பட்டபடியாலும், அதினிமித்தம் அவர்கள் கர்த்தருக்குத் தகனபலியையும் பாவநிவாரணபலியையும் கர்த்தருடைய சந்நிதியில் கொண்டுவந்ததினாலும், அது அவர்களுக்கு மன்னிக்கப்படும்.

²⁵The priest shall make atonement for all the congregation of the children of Israel, and they shall be forgiven; for it was an error, and they have brought their offering, an offering made by fire to Yahweh, and their sin offering before Yahweh, for their error:

²⁶அது அறியாமையினாலே ஜனங்கள் யாவருக்கும் வந்தபடியால், அது இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரின் சபையனைத்திற்கும் அவர்களுக்குள்ளே தங்குகிற அந்நியனுக்கும் மன்னிக்கப்படும்.

²⁶and all the congregation of the children of Israel shall be forgiven, and the stranger who lives as a foreigner among them; for in respect of all the people it was done unwittingly.

²⁷ஒருவன் அறியாமையினால் பாவஞ்செய்தானாகில், ஒருவயதான வெள்ளாட்டைப் பாவநிவாரணபலியாகச் செலுத்தக்கடவன்.

²⁷“‘If one person sins unwittingly, then he shall offer a female goat a year old for a sin offering.

²⁸அப்பொழுது அறியாமையினால் பாவஞ்செய்தவனுக்காக ஆசாரியன் பாவநிவிர்த்தி செய்யும்படி கர்த்தருடைய சந்நிதியில் பாவநிவிர்த்தி செய்யக்கடவன்; அப்பொழுது அவனுக்கு மன்னிக்கப்படும்.

²⁸The priest shall make atonement for the soul who errs, when he sins unwittingly, before Yahweh, to make atonement for him; and he shall be forgiven.

²⁹இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரராகிய உங்களில் பிறந்தவனுக்கும் உங்களுக்குள்ளே தங்கும் அந்நியனுக்கும், அறியாமையினால் பாவஞ்செய்தவனிமித்தம், ஒரே பிரமாணம் இருக்கவேண்டும்.

²⁹You shall have one law for him who does anything unwittingly, for him who is native-born among the children of Israel, and for the stranger who lives as a foreigner among them.

³⁰அன்றியும் தேசத்திலே பிறந்தவர்களிலாகிலும் அந்நியர்களிலாகிலும் எவனாவது துணிகரமாய் யாதொன்றைச் செய்தால், அவன் கர்த்தரை நிந்திக்கிறான்; அந்த ஆத்துமா தன் ஜனத்தாரில் இராதபடிக்கு அறுப்புண்டுபோகவேண்டும்.

³⁰“‘But the soul who does anything with a high hand, whether he is native-born or a foreigner, the same blasphemes Yahweh; and that soul shall be cut off from among his people.

³¹அவன் கர்த்தரின் வார்த்தையை அசட்டைபண்ணி, அவர் கற்பனையை மீறினபடியால், அந்த ஆத்துமா அறுப்புண்டுபோகவேண்டும்; அவன் அக்கிரமம் அவன்மேல் இருக்கும் என்று சொல் என்றார்.

³¹Because he has despised the word of Yahweh, and has broken his commandment, that soul shall utterly be cut off; his iniquity shall be on him.’”

³²இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரர் வனாந்தரத்தில் இருக்கையில், ஓய்வுநாளில் விறகுகளைப் பொறுக்கிக்கொண்டிருந்த ஒரு மனிதனைக் கண்டுபிடித்தார்கள்.

³²While the children of Israel were in the wilderness, they found a man gathering sticks on the Sabbath day.

³³விறகுகளைப் பொறுக்கின அந்த மனிதனைக் கண்டுபிடித்தவர்கள், அவனை மோசே ஆரோன் என்பவர்களிடத்துக்கும் சபையார் அனைவரிடத்துக்கும் கொண்டுவந்தார்கள்.

³³Those who found him gathering sticks brought him to Moses and Aaron, and to all the congregation.

³⁴அவனுக்குச் செய்யவேண்டியது இன்னதென்று தீர்க்கமான உத்தரவு இல்லாதபடியினால், அவனைக் காவலில் வைத்தார்கள்.

³⁴They put him in custody, because it had not been declared what should be done to him.

³⁵கர்த்தர் மோசேயை நோக்கி: அந்த மனிதன் நிச்சயமாய்க் கொலைசெய்யப்படவேண்டும்; சபையார் எல்லாரும் அவனைப் பாளயத்திற்குப் புறம்பே கல்லெறியக்கடவர்கள் என்றார்.

³⁵Yahweh said to Moses, “The man shall surely be put to death: all the congregation shall stone him with stones outside of the camp.”

³⁶அப்பொழுது சபையார் எல்லாரும் கர்த்தர் மோசேக்குக் கட்டளையிட்டபடியே, அவனைப் பாளயத்திற்குப் புறம்பே கொண்டுபோய்க் கல்லெறிந்தார்கள்; அவன் செத்தான்.

³⁶All the congregation brought him outside of the camp, and stoned him to death with stones; as Yahweh commanded Moses.

³⁷பின்னும் கர்த்தர் மோசேயை நோக்கி:

³⁷Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,

³⁸நீ இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரிடத்தில் பேசி, அவர்கள் தங்கள் தலைமுறைதோறும் தங்கள் வஸ்திரங்களின் ஓரங்களிலே தொங்கல்களை உண்டாக்கி, ஓரத்தின் தொங்கலிலே இளநீல நாடாவைக் கட்டவேண்டும் என்று அவர்களுக்குச் சொல்.

³⁸“Speak to the children of Israel, and tell them that they should make themselves fringes or, tassels (Hebrew tzitzit) in the borders of their garments throughout their generations, and that they put on the fringe or, tassel of each border a cord of blue:

³⁹நீங்கள் பின்பற்றிச் சோரம்போகிற உங்கள் இருதயத்துக்கும் உங்கள் கண்களுக்கும் ஏற்க நடவாமல், அதைப் பார்த்து, கர்த்தரின் கற்பனைகளையெல்லாம் நினைத்து அவைகளின்படியே செய்யும்படிக்கு, அது உங்களுக்குத் தொங்கலாய் இருக்கவேண்டும்.

³⁹and it shall be to you for a fringe or, tassel , that you may look on it, and remember all the commandments of Yahweh, and do them; and that you not follow after your own heart and your own eyes, after which you use to play the prostitute;

⁴⁰நீங்கள் என் கற்பனைகளையெல்லாம் நினைத்து, அவைகளின்படியே செய்து, உங்கள் தேவனுக்குப் பரிசுத்தராயிருக்கும்படி அதைப் பார்ப்பீர்களாக.

⁴⁰that you may remember and do all my commandments, and be holy to your God.

⁴¹நான் உங்களுக்கு தேவனாயிருக்கும்படி, உங்களை எகிப்துதேசத்திலிருந்து புறப்படப்பண்ணின உங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர்; நானே உங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் என்று சொல் என்றார்.

⁴¹I am Yahweh your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: I am Yahweh your God.”
