1கர்த்தருடைய ஆலயத்திற்குப் போவோம் வாருங்கள் என்று எனக்கு அவர்கள் சொன்னபோது மகிழ்ச்சியாயிருந்தேன்.
1I was glad when they said to me, “Let’s go to Yahweh’s house!”
2எருசலேமே, உன் வாசல்களில் எங்கள் கால்கள் நிற்கலாயிற்று.
2Our feet are standing within your gates, Jerusalem;
3எருசலேம் இசைவிணைப்பான நகரமாய்க் கட்டப்பட்டிருக்கிறது.
3Jerusalem, that is built as a city that is compact together;
4அங்கே இஸ்ரவேலுக்குச் சாட்சியாகக் கர்த்தருடைய ஜனங்களாகிய கோத்திரங்கள் கர்த்தரின் நாமத்தை ஸ்தோத்திரிப்பதற்குப் போகும்.
4where the tribes go up, even Yah’s tribes, according to an ordinance for Israel, to give thanks to the name of Yahweh.
5அங்கே தாவீதின் வம்சத்தாருடைய சிங்காசனங்களாகிய நியாயாசனங்கள் வைக்கப்பட்டிருக்கிறது.
5For there are set thrones for judgment, the thrones of David’s house.
6எருசலேமின் சமாதானத்துக்காக வேண்டிக்கொள்ளுங்கள்; உன்னை நேசிக்கிறவர்கள் சுகித்திருப்பார்களாக.
6Pray for the peace of Jerusalem. Those who love you will prosper.
7உன் அலங்கத்திற்குள்ளே சமாதானமும், உன் அரமனைகளுக்குள்ளே சுகமும் இருப்பதாக.
7Peace be within your walls, and prosperity within your palaces.
8என் சகோதரர் நிமித்தமும் என் சிநேகிதர் நிமித்தமும், உன்னில் சமாதானம் இருப்பதாக என்பேன்.
8For my brothers’ and companions’ sakes, I will now say, “Peace be within you.”
9எங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தரின் ஆலயத்தினிமித்தம் உனக்கு நன்மையுண்டாகத் தேடுவேன்.
9For the sake of the house of Yahweh our God, I will seek your good.
