¹கர்த்தாவே, உம்மிடத்தில் என் ஆத்துமாவை உயர்த்துகிறேன்.

²என் தேவனே, உம்மை நம்பியிருக்கிறேன், நான் வெட்கப்பட்டுப்போகாதபடி செய்யும்; என் சத்துருக்கள் என்னை மேற்கொண்டு மகிழவிடாதேயும்.

²My God, I have trusted in you. Don’t let me be shamed. Don’t let my enemies triumph over me.

³உம்மை நோக்கிக் காத்திருக்கிற ஒருவரும் வெட்கப்பட்டுப் போகாதபடி செய்யும்; முகாந்தரமில்லாமல் துரோகம்பண்ணுகிறவர்களே வெட்கப்பட்டுப் போவார்களாக.

³Yes, no one who waits for you shall be shamed. They shall be shamed who deal treacherously without cause.

⁴கர்த்தாவே, உம்முடைய வழிகளை எனக்குத் தெரிவியும்; உம்முடைய பாதைகளை எனக்குப் போதித்தருளும்.

⁴Show me your ways, Yahweh. Teach me your paths.

⁵உம்முடைய சத்தியத்திலே என்னை நடத்தி, என்னைப் போதித்தருளும்; நீரே என் இரட்சிப்பின் தேவன், உம்மை நோக்கி நாள்முழுதும் காத்திருக்கிறேன்.

⁵Guide me in your truth, and teach me, For you are the God of my salvation, I wait for you all day long.

⁶கர்த்தாவே, உம்முடைய இரக்கங்களையும் உம்முடைய காருணியங்களையும் நினைத்தருளும், அவை அநாதி காலமுதல் இருக்கின்றனவே.

⁶Yahweh, remember your tender mercies and your loving kindness, for they are from old times.

⁷என் இளவயதின் பாவங்களையும் என் மீறுதல்களையும் நினையாதிரும்; கர்த்தாவே, உம்முடைய தயவினிமித்தம் என்னை உமது கிருபையின்படியே நினைத்தருளும்.

⁷Don’t remember the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions. Remember me according to your loving kindness, for your goodness’ sake, Yahweh.

⁸கர்த்தர் நல்லவரும் உத்தமருமாயிருக்கிறார்; ஆகையால் பாவிகளுக்கு வழியைத் தெரிவிக்கிறார்.

⁸Good and upright is Yahweh, therefore he will instruct sinners in the way.

⁹சிறுமைபட்டவர்களை நியாயத்திலே நடத்தி, சிறுமைபட்டவர்களுக்குத் தமது வழியைப் போதிக்கிறார்.

⁹He will guide the humble in justice. He will teach the humble his way.

¹⁰கர்த்தருடைய உடன்படிக்கையையும் அவருடைய சாட்சிகளையும் கைக்கொள்ளுகிறவர்களுக்கு, அவருடைய பாதைகளெல்லாம் கிருபையும் சத்தியமுமானவை.

¹⁰All the paths of Yahweh are loving kindness and truth to such as keep his covenant and his testimonies.

¹¹கர்த்தாவே, என் அக்கிரமம் பெரிது; உம்முடைய நாமத்தினிமித்தம் அதை மன்னித்தருளும்.

¹¹For your name’s sake, Yahweh, pardon my iniquity, for it is great.

¹²கர்த்தருக்குப் பயப்படுகிற மனுஷன் எவனோ அவனுக்குத் தாம் தெரிந்துகொள்ளும் வழியைப் போதிப்பார்.

¹²What man is he who fears Yahweh? He shall instruct him in the way that he shall choose.

¹³அவன் ஆத்துமா நன்மையில் தங்கும்; அவன் சந்ததி பூமியைச் சுதந்தரித்துக்கொள்ளும்.

¹³His soul shall dwell at ease. His seed shall inherit the land.

¹⁴கர்த்தருடைய இரகசியம் அவருக்குப் பயந்தவர்களிடத்தில் இருக்கிறது; அவர்களுக்குத் தம்முடைய உடன்படிக்கையைத் தெரியப்படுத்துவார்.

¹⁴The friendship of Yahweh is with those who fear him. He will show them his covenant.

¹⁵என் கண்கள் எப்போதும் கர்த்தரை நோக்கிக்கொண்டிருக்கின்றன; அவரே என் கால்களை வலைக்கு நீங்கலாக்கிவிடுவார்.

¹⁵My eyes are ever on Yahweh, for he will pluck my feet out of the net.

¹⁶என்மேல் நோக்கமாகி, எனக்கு இரங்கும்; நான் தனித்தவனும் சிறுமைப்பட்டவனுமாய் இருக்கிறேன்.

¹⁶Turn to me, and have mercy on me, for I am desolate and afflicted.

¹⁷என் இருதயத்தின் வியாகுலங்கள் பெருகியிருக்கின்றன; என் இடுக்கண்களிலிருந்து என்னை நீங்கலாக்கிவிடும்.

¹⁷The troubles of my heart are enlarged. Oh bring me out of my distresses.

¹⁸என் சிறுமையையும் என் துன்பத்தையும் பார்த்து, என்பாவங்களையெல்லாம் மன்னித்தருளும்.

¹⁸Consider my affliction and my travail. Forgive all my sins.

¹⁹என் சத்துருக்களைப் பாரும்; அவர்கள் பெருகியிருந்து, உக்கிர வெறுப்பாய் என்னை வெறுக்கிறார்கள்.

¹⁹Consider my enemies, for they are many. They hate me with cruel hatred.

²⁰என் ஆத்துமாவைக் காப்பாற்றி என்னை விடுவியும்; நான் வெட்கப்பட்டுப்போகாதபடி செய்யும்; உம்மிடம் அடைக்கலம் புகுந்துள்ளேன்.

²⁰Oh keep my soul, and deliver me. Let me not be disappointed, for I take refuge in you.

²¹உத்தமமும், நேர்மையும் என்னைக் காக்கட்டும்; நான் உமக்குக் காத்திருக்கிறேன்.

²¹Let integrity and uprightness preserve me, for I wait for you.

²²தேவனே, இஸ்ரவேலை அவனுடைய எல்லா இக்கட்டுகளுக்கும் நீங்கலாக்கி மீட்டுவிடும்.

²²Redeem Israel, God, out all of his troubles.
