²கர்த்தருடைய நாமத்திற்குரிய மகிமையை அவருக்குச் செலுத்துங்கள்; பரிசுத்த அலங்காரத்துடனே கர்த்தரைத் தொழுதுகொள்ளுங்கள்.

²Ascribe to Yahweh the glory due to his name. Worship Yahweh in holy array.

³கர்த்தருடைய சத்தம் தண்ணீர்களின்மேல் தொனிக்கிறது; மகிமையுள்ள தேவன் முழங்குகிறார்; கர்த்தர் திரளான தண்ணீர்களின்மேல் இருக்கிறார்.

³Yahweh’s voice is on the waters. The God of glory thunders, even Yahweh on many waters.

⁴கர்த்தருடைய சத்தம் வல்லமையுள்ளது; கர்த்தருடைய சத்தம் மகத்துவமுள்ளது.

⁴Yahweh’s voice is powerful. Yahweh’s voice is full of majesty.

⁵கர்த்தருடைய சத்தம் கேதுருமரங்களை முறிக்கிறது; கர்த்தர் லீபனோனின் கேதுமரங்களை முறிக்கிறார்.

⁵The voice of Yahweh breaks the cedars. Yes, Yahweh breaks in pieces the cedars of Lebanon.

⁶அவைகளைக் கன்றுக்குட்டிகளைப்போலவும், லீபனோனையும் சீரியோனையும் காண்டாமிருகக் குட்டிகளைப்போலவும் துள்ளப்பண்ணுகிறார்.

⁶He makes them also to skip like a calf; Lebanon and Sirion like a young, wild ox.

⁷கர்த்தருடைய சத்தம் அக்கினி ஜூவாலைகளைப் பிளக்கும்.

⁸கர்த்தருடைய சத்தம் வனாந்தரத்தை அதிரப்பண்ணும்; கர்த்தர் காதேஸ் வனாந்தரத்தை அதிரப்பண்ணுகிறார்.

⁹கர்த்தருடைய சத்தம் பெண்மான்களை ஈனும்படி செய்து, காடுகளை வெளியாக்கும்; அவருடைய ஆலயத்திலுள்ள யாவரும் "கர்த்தருக்கு மகிமை" என்று ஆர்ப்பரிக்கிறார்கள்.

⁹Yahweh’s voice makes the deer calve, and strips the forests bare. In his temple everything says, “Glory!”

¹⁰கர்த்தர் ஜலப்பிரளயத்தின்மேல் வீற்றிருந்தார்; கர்த்தர் என்றென்றைக்கும் ராஜாவாக வீற்றிருக்கிறார்.

¹⁰Yahweh sat enthroned at the Flood. Yes, Yahweh sits as King forever.

¹¹கர்த்தர் தமது ஜனத்திற்குப் பெலன் கொடுப்பார்; கர்த்தர் தமது ஜனத்திற்குச் சமாதானம் அருளி, அவர்களை ஆசீர்வதிப்பார்.

¹¹Yahweh will give strength to his people. Yahweh will bless his people with peace.
