¹பூமியின் குடிகளே, நீங்கள் எல்லாரும் தேவனுக்கு முன்பாகக் கெம்பீரமாய்ப் பாடுங்கள்.

²அவர் நாமத்தின் மகத்துவத்தைக் கீர்த்தனம்பண்ணி, அவருடைய துதியின் மகிமையைக் கொண்டாடுங்கள்.

²Sing to the glory of his name! Offer glory and praise!

³தேவனை நோக்கி: உமது கிரியைகளில் எவ்வளவு பயங்கரமாயிருக்கிறீர்; உமது மகத்துவமான வல்லமையினிமித்தம் உம்முடைய சத்தருக்கள் உமக்கு இச்சகம்பேசி அடங்குவார்கள்.

³Tell God, “How awesome are your deeds! Through the greatness of your power, your enemies submit themselves to you.

⁴பூமியின்மீதெங்கும் உம்மைப்பணிந்துகொண்டு உம்மைத் துதித்துப் பாடுவார்கள்; அவர்கள் உம்முடைய நாமத்தைத் துதித்துப் பாடுவார்கள் என்று சொல்லுங்கள். (சேலா)

⁴All the earth will worship you, and will sing to you; they will sing to your name.” Selah.

⁵தேவனுடைய செய்கைகளை வந்து பாருங்கள்; அவர் மனுபுத்திரரிடத்தில் நடப்பிக்குங்கிரியையில் பயங்கரமானவர்.

⁵Come, and see God’s deeds— awesome work on behalf of the children of men.

⁶கடலை உலர்ந்த தரையாக மாற்றினார்; ஆற்றைக் கால்நடையாய்க் கடந்தார்கள்; அங்கே அவரில் களிகூர்ந்தோம்.

⁶He turned the sea into dry land. They went through the river on foot. There, we rejoiced in him.

⁷அவர் தம்முடைய வல்லமையினால் என்றென்றைக்கும் அரசாளுகிறார்; அவருடைய கண்கள் ஜாதிகள்மேல் நோக்கமாயிருக்கிறது; துரோகிகள் தங்களை உயர்த்தாதிருப்பார்களாக. (சேலா)

⁷He rules by his might forever. His eyes watch the nations. Don’t let the rebellious rise up against him. Selah.

⁸ஜனங்களே, நம்முடைய தேவனை ஸ்தோத்திரித்து, அவரைத் துதிக்குஞ்சத்தத்தைக் கேட்கப்பண்ணுங்கள்.

⁸Praise our God, you peoples! Make the sound of his praise heard,

⁹அவர் நம்முடைய கால்களைத் தள்ளாடவொட்டாமல், நம்முடைய ஆத்துமாவை உயிரோடே வைக்கிறார்.

⁹who preserves our life among the living, and doesn’t allow our feet to be moved.

¹⁰தேவனே, எங்களைச் சோதித்தீர்; வெள்ளியைப் புடமிடுகிறதுபோல எங்களைப் புடமிட்டீர்.

¹⁰For you, God, have tested us. You have refined us, as silver is refined.

¹¹எங்களை வலையில் அகப்படுத்தி, எங்கள் இடுப்புகளின்மேல் வருத்தமான பாரத்தை ஏற்றினீர்.

¹¹You brought us into prison. You laid a burden on our backs.

¹²மனுஷரை எங்கள் தலையின்மேல் ஏறிப்போகப்பண்ணினீர்; தீயையும் தண்ணீரையும் கடந்து வந்தோம்; செழிப்பான இடத்தில் எங்களைக் கொண்டுவந்து விட்டீர்.

¹²You allowed men to ride over our heads. We went through fire and through water, but you brought us to the place of abundance.

¹³சர்வாங்க தகனபலிகளோடே உமது ஆலயத்திற்குள் பிரவேசிப்பேன்;

¹³I will come into your temple with burnt offerings. I will pay my vows to you,

¹⁴என் இக்கட்டில் நான் என் உதடுகளைத் திறந்து, என் வாயினால் சொல்லிய என் பொருத்தனைகளை உமக்குச் செலுத்துவேன்.

¹⁴which my lips promised, and my mouth spoke, when I was in distress.

¹⁵ஆட்டுக்கடாக்களின் நிணப்புகையுடனே கொழுமையானவைகளை உமக்குத் தகனபலியாக இடுவேன்; காளைகளையும் செம்மறியாட்டுக் கடாக்களையும் உமக்குப் பலியிடுவேன். (சேலா)

¹⁵I will offer to you burnt offerings of fat animals, with the offering of rams, I will offer bulls with goats. Selah.

¹⁶தேவனுக்குப் பயந்தவர்களே, நீங்கள் எல்லாரும் வந்து கேளுங்கள்; அவர் என் ஆத்துமாவுக்குச் செய்ததைச் சொல்லுவேன்.

¹⁶Come, and hear, all you who fear God. I will declare what he has done for my soul.

¹⁷அவரை நோக்கி என் வாயினால் கூப்பிட்டேன், என் நாவினால் அவர் புகழப்பட்டார்.

¹⁷I cried to him with my mouth. He was extolled with my tongue.

¹⁸என் இருதயத்தில் அக்கிரமசிந்தை கொண்டிருந்தேனானால், ஆண்டவர் எனக்குச் செவிகொடார்.

¹⁸If I cherished sin in my heart, the Lord wouldn’t have listened.

¹⁹மெய்யாய் தேவன் எனக்குச் செவிகொடுத்தார், என் ஜெபத்தின் சத்தத்தைக் கேட்டார்.

¹⁹But most certainly, God has listened. He has heard the voice of my prayer.

²⁰என் ஜெபத்தைத் தள்ளாமலும், தமது கிருபையை என்னைவிட்டு விலக்காமலும் இருந்த தேவனுக்கு ஸ்தோத்திரமுண்டாவதாக.

²⁰Blessed be God, who has not turned away my prayer, nor his loving kindness from me.
