1தேவசபையிலே தேவன் எழுந்தருளியிருக்கிறார்; தேவர்களின் நடுவிலே அவர் நியாயம் விசாரிக்கிறார்.
1God presides in the great assembly. He judges among the gods.
2எதுவரைக்கும் நீங்கள் அநியாயத்தீர்ப்புச்செய்து, துன்மார்க்கருக்கு முகதாட்சிணியம்பண்ணுவீர்கள். (சேலா)
2“How long will you judge unjustly, and show partiality to the wicked?” Selah.
3ஏழைக்கும் திக்கற்றபிள்ளைக்கும் நியாயஞ்செய்து, சிறுமைப்பட்டவனுக்கும் திக்கற்றவனுக்கும் நீதி செய்யுங்கள்.
3“Defend the weak, the poor, and the fatherless. Maintain the rights of the poor and oppressed.
4பலவீனனையும் எளியவனையும் விடுவித்து, துன்மார்க்கரின் கைக்கு அவர்களைத் தப்புவியுங்கள்.
4Rescue the weak and needy. Deliver them out of the hand of the wicked.”
5அறியாமலும் உணராமலும் இருக்கிறார்கள், அந்தகாரத்திலே நடக்கிறார்கள்; தேசத்தின் அஸ்திபாரங்களெல்லாம் அசைகிறது.
5They don’t know, neither do they understand. They walk back and forth in darkness. All the foundations of the earth are shaken.
6நீங்கள் தேவர்கள் என்றும், நீங்களெல்லாரும் உன்னதமானவரின் மக்கள் என்றும் நான் சொல்லியிருந்தேன்.
6I said, “You are gods, all of you are sons of the Most High.
7ஆனாலும் நீங்கள் மனுஷரைப்போலச் செத்து, லோகப்பிரபுக்களில் ஒருவனைப்போல விழுந்து போவீர்கள்.
7Nevertheless you shall die like men, and fall like one of the rulers.”
8தேவனே, எழுந்தருளும், பூமிக்கு நியாயத்தீர்ப்புச் செய்யும்; நீரே சகல ஜாதிகளையும் சுதந்தரமாகக் கொண்டிருப்பவர்.
8Arise, God, judge the earth, for you inherit all of the nations.
