¹БА ба онҳо гуфт: «Ба ростӣ ба шумо мегӯям: аз истодагон дар ин ҷо баъзе ҳастанд, ки то Малакути Худоро, ки бо қудрат меояд, набинанд, зоиқаи маргро нахоҳанд ҷашид».

¹He said to them, “Most certainly I tell you, there are some standing here who will in no way taste death until they see the Kingdom of God come with power.”

²Ва баъд аз шаш рӯз Исо Петрус, Яъкуб ва Юҳанноро ҳамроҳи Худ бурд ва онҳоро танҳо ба кӯҳи баланде баровард ва дар пеши назари онҳо дигаргун шуд:

²After six days Jesus took with him Peter, James, and John, and brought them up onto a high mountain privately by themselves, and he was changed into another form in front of them.

³Либосаш дурахшон ва чун барф бағоят сафед щуд, ки дар рӯи замин ҳеҷ шустагаре наметавонад чунон сафед кунад.

³His clothing became glistening, exceedingly white, like snow, such as no launderer on earth can whiten them.

⁴Ва Ильёс бо Мусо ба онҳо намоён шуда, бо Исо гуфтугӯ мекарданд.

⁴Elijah and Moses appeared to them, and they were talking with Jesus.

⁵Он гоҳ Петрус ба Исо гуфт: «Эй Ӯстод! Дар ин ҷо будани мо некӯст; пас се чодар месозем: яке барои Ту, яке барои Мусо ва яке барои Ильёс».

⁵Peter answered Jesus, “Rabbi, it is good for us to be here. Let’s make three tents: one for you, one for Moses, and one for Elijah.”

⁶Зеро намедонист, чӣ гӯяд: чунки ҳаросон буданд.

⁶For he didn’t know what to say, for they were very afraid.

⁷Ва абре пайдо шуда, бар онҳо соя андохт, ва овозе аз даруни абр баромад, ки мегуфт: «Ин аст Писари Маҳбуби Ман; Ӯро бишнавед».

⁷A cloud came, overshadowing them, and a voice came out of the cloud, “This is my beloved Son. Listen to him.”

⁸Баногоҳ, чун ба атрофи худ нигаристанд, касеро ҷуз Исо назди худ надиданд.

⁸Suddenly looking around, they saw no one with them any more, except Jesus only.

⁹Чун аз кӯҳ мефуромаданд, Исо таъкид намуд, ки то Писари Одам аз мурдагон эҳьё нашавад, он чи дидаанд, ба касе нагӯянд.

⁹As they were coming down from the mountain, he commanded them that they should tell no one what things they had seen, until after the Son of Man had risen from the dead.

¹⁰Ва онҳо ин суханро дар ёд дошта, аз якдигар мепурсиданд, ки аз мурдагон эҳьё шудан чӣ маънӣ дорад?

¹⁰They kept this saying to themselves, questioning what the “rising from the dead” meant.

¹¹Ва аз Ӯ пурсиданд: «Чаро китобдонон мегӯянд, ки .Ильёс бояд аввал биеяд?»

¹¹They asked him, saying, “Why do the scribes say that Elijah must come first?”

¹²Ӯ ба ҷавоби онҳо гуфт: «Дуруст аст, ки Ильёс бояд аввал биёяд ва ҳама чизро соз кунад; ва Писари Одам, чунон ки дар бораи Ӯ навишта шудааст, ранҷи бисьёр бинад ва ҳақир шумурда шавад;

¹²He said to them, “Elijah indeed comes first, and restores all things. How is it written about the Son of Man, that he should suffer many things and be despised?

¹³«Лекин ба шумо мегӯям, ки Ильёс ҳам омад ва бо вай он чи хостанд, карданд, чунон ки дар бораи вай навишта шудааст».

¹³ But I tell you that Elijah has come, and they have also done to him whatever they wanted to, even as it is written about him.”

¹⁴Чун назди шогирдонаш омад, мардуми бисьерро гирди онҳо дид, ва китобдононро, ки бо онҳо мубоҳиса мекарданд.

¹⁴Coming to the disciples, he saw a great multitude around them, and scribes questioning them.

¹⁵Дарҳол тамоми мардум, чун Ӯро диданд, дар ҳайрат монданд ва давондавон омада, ба Ӯ салом доданд.

¹⁵Immediately all the multitude, when they saw him, were greatly amazed, and running to him greeted him.

¹⁶Ӯ аз китобдонон пурсид: «Бо инҳо чӣ мубоҳиса мекунед?»

¹⁶He asked the scribes, “What are you asking them?”

¹⁷Яке аз байни мардум ба ҷавоб гуфт: «Эй Ӯстод! Писари худро назди Ту овардам, ки рӯҳе гунг дорад:

¹⁷One of the multitude answered, “Teacher, I brought to you my son, who has a mute spirit;

¹⁸«Хар ҷо, ки вайро бигирад, ба замин мезанад, вай кафк бароварда, дандонҳо бо ҳам месояд ва карахт мешавад; ба шогирдони Ту гуфтам, ки онро берун кунанд, натавонистанд».

¹⁸and wherever it seizes him, it throws him down, and he foams at the mouth, and grinds his teeth, and wastes away. I asked your disciples to cast it out, and they weren’t able.”

¹⁹Ӯ ба ҷавоби вай гуфт: «Эй насли беимон! То кай бо шумо бошам? То ба кай шуморо тоқат кунам? Вайро назди Ман биёред».

¹⁹He answered him, “Unbelieving generation, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I bear with you? Bring him to me.”

²⁰Вайро назди Ӯ оварданд. Чун Ӯро дид, рӯҳ вайро ба Ларза андохт; вай ба замин афтода ва ғел зада, кафк баровард.

²⁰They brought him to him, and when he saw him, immediately the spirit convulsed him, and he fell on the ground, wallowing and foaming at the mouth.

²¹Ва аз падари вай пурсид: «Кай боз ба ин ҳолаТ гирифтор аст?» Гуфт: «Аз кӯдакӣ».

²¹He asked his father, “How long has it been since this has come to him?” He said, “From childhood.

²²«Борҳо вайро дар оташ ва дар об афканд, то вайро ҳалок кунад; лекин, агар метавонӣ, ба мо раҳм кун ва ёрй расон».

²²Often it has cast him both into the fire and into the water, to destroy him. But if you can do anything, have compassion on us, and help us.”

²³Исо ба вай гуфт: «Агар имон оварда тавонй, барои имондор ҳама чиз имконпазир аст».

²³Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.”

²⁴Дарҳол падари кӯдак фарьёд зада, гирьякунон гуфт: «Имон меоварам, эй Худованд! Ба беимонии ман мадад кун».

²⁴Immediately the father of the child cried out with tears, “I believe. Help my unbelief!”

²⁵Чун Исо дид, ки мардум сӯяш шитоб мекунанд, рӯҳи палидро мазаммат намуда, гуфт: «Эй рӯҳи гунг ва кар! Ба ту амр мефармоям, ки аз вай берун рав ва дигар дохили вай нашав».

²⁵When Jesus saw that a multitude came running together, he rebuked the unclean spirit, saying to him, “You mute and deaf spirit, I command you, come out of him, and never enter him again!”

²⁶Пас бонг зада, вайро сахт ба ларза андохта, берун рафт; вай монанди мурда гашт, ба тавре ки бисьёр касон гуфтанд, ки вай мурдааст.

²⁶Having cried out, and convulsed greatly, it came out of him. The boy became like one dead; so much that most of them said, “He is dead.”

²⁷Лекин Исо дасташро гирифта бархезонд; вай ба по истод.

²⁷But Jesus took him by the hand, and raised him up; and he arose.

²⁸Ва чун ба хона даромад, шогирдонаш аз Ӯ ба танҳоӣ пурсиданд: «Чаро мо онро берун карда натавонистем?»

²⁸When he had come into the house, his disciples asked him privately, “Why couldn’t we cast it out?”

²⁹Ба онҳо гуфт: «Ин ҷинс ба ҳеҷ ваҷҳ берун намеравад, ҷуз ба дуо ва рӯза».

²⁹He said to them, “This kind can come out by nothing, except by prayer and fasting.”

³⁰Ва аз он ҷо равона шуда, аз Ҷалил мегузаштанд; ва Ӯ намехост, ки касе Ӯро бишиносад.

³⁰They went out from there, and passed through Galilee. He didn’t want anyone to know it.

³¹Зеро шогирдони Худро таълим дода мегуфт, ки Писари Одам ба дасти одамон таслим карда хоҳад шуд, ва Ӯро хоҳанд кушт; чун кушта шуд, пас аз се рӯз эҳье хоҳад шуд.

³¹For he was teaching his disciples, and said to them, “The Son of Man is being handed over to the hands of men, and they will kill him; and when he is killed, on the third day he will rise again.”

³²Лекин онҳо ин суханро нафаҳмиданд ва тарсиданд, ки аз Ӯ бипурсанд.

³²But they didn’t understand the saying, and were afraid to ask him.

³³Ба Кафарнахум омад; чун дар хона буд, аз онҳо пурсид: «Дар роҳ бо якдигар дар чӣ хусус муҳокима мекардед?»

³³He came to Capernaum, and when he was in the house he asked them, “What were you arguing among yourselves on the way?”

³⁴Онҳо хомӯш монданд, чунки дар роҳ бо якдигар муҳокима мекарданд, ки кист бузургтар.

³⁴But they were silent, for they had disputed one with another on the way about who was the greatest.

³⁵Ӯ нишаста, он дувоздаҳро наздаш хонд ва ба онҳо гуфт: «Ҳар кй мехоҳад нахустин бошад, вопасин ва хизматгори ҳама шавад».

³⁵He sat down, and called the twelve; and he said to them, “If any man wants to be first, he shall be last of all, and servant of all.”

³⁶Пас кӯдакеро гирифта, дар миёни онҳо ба по гузошт ва, дар оғӯш кашида, ба онҳо гуфт:

³⁶He took a little child, and set him in their midst. Taking him in his arms, he said to them,

³⁷«Ҳар кӣ яке аз ин гуна кӯдаконро ба исми Ман кабул кунад, вай Маро қабул мекунад; ва ҳар кй Маро қабул кунад, вай на Маро, балки Фиристандаи Маро қабул мекунад».

³⁷ “Whoever receives one such little child in my name, receives me, and whoever receives me, doesn’t receive me, but him who sent me.”

³⁸Он гоҳ Юҳанно гуфт: «Эй Ӯстод! Мо касеро дидем, ки ба исми Ту девҳоро берун мекард, лекин моро пайравӣ намекард, ва мо вайро манъ кардем, чунки моро пайравӣ намекард».

³⁸John said to him, “Teacher, we saw someone who doesn’t follow us casting out demons in your name; and we forbade him, because he doesn’t follow us.”

³⁹Исо гуфт: «Вайро манъ накунед; зеро ҳеҷ касе нест, ки ба исми Ман мӯъҷиза бинмояду ба зудӣ дар ҳаққи Ман бад гуфта тавонад.

³⁹But Jesus said, “Don’t forbid him, for there is no one who will do a mighty work in my name, and be able quickly to speak evil of me.

⁴⁰«Зеро ҳар кӣ зидди мо нест, бо мост.

⁴⁰ For whoever is not against us is on our side.

⁴¹«Ва ҳар кӣ ба исми Ман шуморо, аз он рӯ ки пайрави Масеҳ ҳастед, косаи обе бинӯшонад, ба ростй ба шумо мегӯям, мукофоти худро зоеъ нахохад кард.

⁴¹ For whoever will give you a cup of water to drink in my name, because you are Christ’s, most certainly I tell you, he will in no way lose his reward.

⁴²«Ва ҳар кӣ яке аз ин тифлонро, ки ба Ман имон меоваранд, ба васваса андозад, барои вай беҳтар аст, ки санти осиёе бар гарданаш овехта, вайро дар баҳр афкананд.

⁴² Whoever will cause one of these little ones who believe in me to stumble, it would be better for him if he were thrown into the sea with a millstone hung around his neck.

⁴³«Ва агар дастат туро ба васваса андозад, онро бибур: барои ту беҳтар аст, ки маъюб шуда ба ҳаёт дароӣ, аз ин ки бо ду даст ба дӯзах равона шавӣ, дар оташе ки хомӯшнашаванда аст,

⁴³ If your hand causes you to stumble, cut it off. It is better for you to enter into life maimed, rather than having your two hands to go into Gehenna, or, Hell into the unquenchable fire,

⁴⁴«Ки дар он ҷо кирми онҳо намемирад, ва оташ хомӯш намешавад.

⁴⁴ ‘where their worm doesn’t die, and the fire is not quenched.’

⁴⁵«Ва агар поят туро ба васваса андозад, онро бибур: барои ту беҳтар аст, ки ланг шуда ба ҳаёт дароӣ, аз ин ки бо ду по дар дӯзах андохта шавӣ, дар оташе ки хомӯшнашаванда аст,

⁴⁵ If your foot causes you to stumble, cut it off. It is better for you to enter into life lame, rather than having your two feet to be cast into Gehenna, or, Hell into the fire that will never be quenched—

⁴⁶«Ки дар он ҷо кирми онҳо намемирад, ва оташ хомӯш намешавад.

⁴⁶ ‘where their worm doesn’t die, and the fire is not quenched.’

⁴⁷«Ва агар чашмат туро ба васваса андозад, онро бикан: барои ту беҳтар аст, ки якчашма шуда ба Малакути Худо дарой, аз ин ки бо ду чашм дар оташи дӯзах андохта шавӣ,

⁴⁷ If your eye causes you to stumble, cast it out. It is better for you to enter into the Kingdom of God with one eye, rather than having two eyes to be cast into the Gehenna or, Hell of fire,

⁴⁸«Ки дар он ҷо кирми онҳо намемирад, ва оташ хомӯш намешавад.

⁴⁸ ‘where their worm doesn’t die, and the fire is not quenched.’ Isaiah 66:24

⁴⁹«Зеро ҳар кас бо оташ намакин хоҳад шуд, ва ҳар курбон бо намак намакин хоҳад шуд.

⁴⁹ For everyone will be salted with fire, and every sacrifice will be seasoned with salt.

⁵⁰«Намак хуб аст; лекин агар намак шӯр набошад, бо чӣ шумо онро ислоҳ мекунед? Пас дар худ намак бидоред, ва бо якдигар муросо кунед».

⁵⁰ Salt is good, but if the salt has lost its saltiness, with what will you season it? Have salt in yourselves, and be at peace with one another.”
