¹ОН гоҳ Исо ба мардум ва ба шогирдони Худ хитоб кард

¹Then Jesus spoke to the multitudes and to his disciples,

²Ва гуфт: «Китобдонон ва фарисиён бар курсии Мусо нишастаанд;

²saying, “The scribes and the Pharisees sat on Moses’ seat.

³«Пас, он чи ба шумо гӯянд, ба ҷо оваред ва риоя кунед; лекин аз рӯи аъмоли онҳо рафтор накунед, зеро ки мегӯянд ва намекунанд;

³ All things therefore whatever they tell you to observe, observe and do, but don’t do their works; for they say, and don’t do.

⁴«Борҳои гарон ва душворро баста, бар дӯши мардум мегузоранд, лекин худашон намехоҳанд онҳоро ҳатто бо як ангушт ҳаракат диҳанд;

⁴ For they bind heavy burdens that are grievous to be borne, and lay them on men’s shoulders; but they themselves will not lift a finger to help them.

⁵«Ҳамаи корҳои худро барои он мекунанд, ки ба мардум нишон диҳанд: дуоқуттичаҳои худро васеътар мекунанд ва пӯпакҳои ридоҳои худро калонтар месозанд;

⁵ But all their works they do to be seen by men. They make their phylacteries phylacteries (tefillin in Hebrew) are small leather pouches that some Jewish men wear on their forehead and arm in prayer. They are used to carry a small scroll with some Scripture in it. See Deuteronomy 6:8. broad, enlarge the fringes or, tassels of their garments,

⁶«Ва дӯст медоранд, ки дар зиёфатҳо болонишин бошанд ва дар курсиҳои аввали куништҳо ҷойгир шаванд,

⁶ and love the place of honor at feasts, the best seats in the synagogues,

⁷«Ва дар кӯчаю бозорҳо мардум ба онҳо таъзим кунанд ва онҳоро Ӯстод! Ӯстод!" гӯянд.

⁷ the salutations in the marketplaces, and to be called ‘Rabbi, Rabbi’ by men.

⁸«Лекин шумо набояд устод хонда шавед, зеро ки ӯстоди шумо якест, яъне Масеҳ аст, ва ҳамаи шумо бародаронед;

⁸ But don’t you be called ‘Rabbi,’ for one is your teacher, the Christ, and all of you are brothers.

⁹«Ва ҳеҷ касро бар замин падари худ нахонед, зеро ки Падари шумо якест, ки дар осмон аст;

⁹ Call no man on the earth your father, for one is your Father, he who is in heaven.

¹⁰«Ва набояд роҳнамо хонда шавед, зеро ки Роҳнамои шумо якест, яъне Масеҳ аст.

¹⁰ Neither be called masters, for one is your master, the Christ.

¹¹«Бузургтарини шумо хизматгори шумо бошад:

¹¹ But he who is greatest among you will be your servant.

¹²«Зеро ҳар кӣ худро баланд кунад, паст гардад; ва ҳар кӣ худро фурӯтан созад, сарафроз гардад.

¹² Whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and whoever humbles himself will be exalted.

¹³«Вой бар ҳоли шумо, эй китобдонон ва фарисиёни риёкор, ки Малакути Осмонро ба рӯи мардум мебандед; зеро ки худатон намедароед ва ба онҳое ки даромадан мехоҳанд, монеъ мешавед.

¹³ “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you devour widows’ houses, and as a pretense you make long prayers. Therefore you will receive greater condemnation.

¹⁴«Вой бар ҳоли шумо, эй китобдонон ва фарисиёни риёкор, ки хонаҳои бевазанонро фурӯ мебаред ва дуоро риёкорона тӯл медиҳед' ба ин сабаб сахттар маҳкум хоҳед шуд.

¹⁴ “But woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! Because you shut up the Kingdom of Heaven against men; for you don’t enter in yourselves, neither do you allow those who are entering in to enter. Some Greek manuscripts reverse the order of verses 13 and 14, and some omit verse 13, numbering verse 14 as 13.

¹⁵«Вой бар ҳоли шумо, эй китобдонон ва фарисиёни риёкор, ки баҳр ва хушкиро давр мезанед, то якеро ба дини худ гардонед; ва ҳангоме ки ин ба шумо муяссар шавад, вайро ду баробар аз худатон зиёдтар гшсари дӯзах месозед.

¹⁵ Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you travel around by sea and land to make one proselyte; and when he becomes one, you make him twice as much of a son of Gehenna or, Hell as yourselves.

¹⁶«Вой бар ҳоли шумо, эй пешвоёни кӯр, ки мегӯед: "Ҳар кй ба маъбад қасам хӯрад, ҳеҷ гап не; лекин ҳар кй ба тиллои маъбад касам хӯрад, ӯҳдадор хоҳад буд".

¹⁶ “Woe to you, you blind guides, who say, ‘Whoever swears by the temple, it is nothing; but whoever swears by the gold of the temple, he is obligated.’

¹⁷«Эй аблаҳон ва кӯрон! Кадомаш афзал аст: тилло ё маъбад, ки тиллоро такдис мекунад?

¹⁷ You blind fools! For which is greater, the gold, or the temple that sanctifies the gold?

¹⁸«Ҳамчунин мегӯед: "Ҳар кй ба қурбонгоҳ қасам хӯрад, ҳеҷ гап не; лекин хар кӣ ба қурбоние ки бар он аст, қасам хӯрад, ӯҳдадор хоҳад буд".

¹⁸ ‘Whoever swears by the altar, it is nothing; but whoever swears by the gift that is on it, he is obligated?’

¹⁹«Эй аблаҳон ва кӯрон! Кадомаш афзал аст: қурбонй ё қурбонгоҳ, ки қурбониро тақдис мекунад?

¹⁹ You blind fools! For which is greater, the gift, or the altar that sanctifies the gift?

²⁰«Пас, ҳар кй ба қурбонгоҳ қасам хӯрад, ба он ва ба ҳар чи бар он аст, қасам хӯрда бошад;

²⁰ He therefore who swears by the altar, swears by it, and by everything on it.

²¹«Ва ҳар кӣ ба маъбад қасам хӯрад, ба он ва ба Ӯ, ки сокини он аст, қасам хӯрда бошад.

²¹ He who swears by the temple, swears by it, and by him who was living NU reads “lives” in it.

²²«Ва ҳар кӣ ба осмон қасам хӯрад, ба таҳти Худо ва ба Ӯ, ки бар он нишастааст, қасам хӯрда бошад.

²² He who swears by heaven, swears by the throne of God, and by him who sits on it.

²³«Вой бар ҳоли шумо, эй китобдонон ва фарисиени риёкор, ки аз наъно, бодиён ва зира ушр медиҳед, лекин бузургтарин аҳкоми шариат, яъне доварӣ, марҳамат ва имонро тарк кардаед; мебоист онҳоро ба ҷо оварда, инҳоро низ тарк намекардед.

²³ “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you tithe mint, dill, and cumin, cumin is an aromatic seed from Cuminum cyminum, resembling caraway in flavor and appearance. It is used as a spice. and have left undone the weightier matters of the law: justice, mercy, and faith. But you ought to have done these, and not to have left the other undone.

²⁴«Эй пешвоёни кӯр, ки пашшаро софӣ карда, шутурро фурӯ мебаред!

²⁴ You blind guides, who strain out a gnat, and swallow a camel!

²⁵«Вой бар ҳоли шумо, эй китобдонон ва фарисиёни риёкор, ки беруни гшёла ва табақро тоза мекунед, дар сурате ки даруни онҳо аз дуздй ва ифроткорй пур аст.

²⁵ “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you clean the outside of the cup and of the platter, but within they are full of extortion and unrighteousness. TR reads “self-indulgence” instead of “unrighteousness”

²⁶«Эй фарисии кӯр! Аввал даруни гшёла ва табақро тоза кун, то ки беруни он низ тоза бошад.

²⁶ You blind Pharisee, first clean the inside of the cup and of the platter, that its outside may become clean also.

²⁷«Вой бар ҳоли шумо, эй китобдонон ва фарисиёни риёкор, ки ба қабрҳои сафед кардашуда монанд мебошед, ки аз берун зебо менамоянд, лекин дарунашон аз устухонҳои мурдагон ва ҳар хел наҷосат пур аст;

²⁷ “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you are like whitened tombs, which outwardly appear beautiful, but inwardly are full of dead men’s bones, and of all uncleanness.

²⁸«Ҳамчунин шумо низ ба зоҳир ба назари мардум одил менамоед, лекин дар ботин азриёкорйвашароратпурҳастед.

²⁸ Even so you also outwardly appear righteous to men, but inwardly you are full of hypocrisy and iniquity.

²⁹«Вой бар ҳоли шумо, эй китобдонон ва фарисиёни риёкор, ки мақбараҳои анбиёро бино мекунед ва биноҳои ёдгории одилонро зинат медиҳед,

²⁹ “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you build the tombs of the prophets, and decorate the tombs of the righteous,

³⁰«Ва мегӯед: "Агар дар замони падарони худ мебудем, дар рехтани хуни анбиё бо онҳо шарик намешудем".

³⁰ and say, ‘If we had lived in the days of our fathers, we wouldn’t have been partakers with them in the blood of the prophets.’

³¹«Ба ҳамин тариқ худатон бар зидди худ шаҳодат медиҳед, ки фарзандони қотилони анбиё ҳастед;

³¹ Therefore you testify to yourselves that you are children of those who killed the prophets.

³²«Пас, шумо ҳам зарфи падарони худро лабрез кунед.

³² Fill up, then, the measure of your fathers.

³³«Эй морон ва афъизодагон! Аз маҳкумияти дӯзах чӣ тавр гурехта метавонед?

³³ You serpents, you offspring of vipers, how will you escape the judgment of Gehenna or, Hell ?

³⁴«Бинобар ин, инак, Ман назди шумо анбиё ва ҳукамо ва китобдононро мефиристам; ва шумо баъзеро хоҳед кушт ва маслуб хоҳед кард, ва баъзеро дар куништҳои худ тозиёна зада, аз шаҳре ба шаҳре хоҳед ронд;

³⁴ Therefore behold, I send to you prophets, wise men, and scribes. Some of them you will kill and crucify; and some of them you will scourge in your synagogues, and persecute from city to city;

³⁵«То тамоми хуни одилон, ки бар замин рехта шуд, бар сари шумо фурӯД ояд, аз хуни Ҳобили одил то хуни Закарьё ибни Баракьё, ки вайро шумо дар миёни маъбад ва қурбонгоҳ куштед.

³⁵ that on you may come all the righteous blood shed on the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel to the blood of Zachariah son of Barachiah, whom you killed between the sanctuary and the altar.

³⁶«Ба ростӣ ба шумо мегӯям, ки ин ҳама бар сари ин насл ҳоҳад омад.

³⁶ Most certainly I tell you, all these things will come upon this generation.

³⁷«Эй Ерусалим, Ерусалим, ки анбиёро мекушй ва онҳоеро, ки назди ту фиристода шудаанд, сангсор мекунй! Чанд бор хостам фарзандони туро ҷамъ кунам, монанди мокиёне ки чӯҷаҳои худро зери болаш ҷамъ мекунад, ва шумо нахостед!

³⁷ “Jerusalem, Jerusalem, who kills the prophets, and stones those who are sent to her! How often I would have gathered your children together, even as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and you would not!

³⁸«Инак, хонаи шумо ба шумо вайрон гузошта мешавад.

³⁸ Behold, your house is left to you desolate.

³⁹«Зеро ба шумо мегӯям: аз ин пас Маро нахоҳед дид, то даме ки бигӯед: "Муборак аст Он ки ба исми Худованд меояд!"»

³⁹ For I tell you, you will not see me from now on, until you say, ‘Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!’” Psalm 118:26
