1และเขาทั้งหลายได้นำหีบของพระเจ้าเข้ามา วางไว้ภายในเต็นท์ซึ่งดาวิดได้ทรงตั้งไว้ให้ และเขาทั้งหลายได้ถวายเครื่องเผาบูชาและเครื่องสันติบูชาต่อพระพักตร์พระเจ้า
1They brought in the ark of God, and set it in the midst of the tent that David had pitched for it: and they offered burnt offerings and peace offerings before God.
2และเมื่อดาวิดทรงถวายเครื่องเผาบูชาและเครื่องสันติบูชาเสร็จแล้ว พระองค์ทรงอวยพระพรแก่ประชาชนในพระนามพระเยโฮวาห์
2When David had made an end of offering the burnt offering and the peace offerings, he blessed the people in the name of Yahweh.
3และทรงแจกขนมปังคนละก้อน เนื้อคนละส่วน และขนมองุ่นแห้งคนละอัน แก่บรรดาประชาชนอิสราเอลทั้งชายและหญิง
3He dealt to everyone of Israel, both man and woman, to every one a loaf of bread, and a portion of meat, and a cake of raisins.
4และพระองค์ทรงตั้งคนเลวีบางคนให้เป็นผู้ปรนนิบัติหน้าหีบของพระเยโฮวาห์ ให้ระลึกถึง ถวายโมทนาและสรรเสริญพระเยโฮวาห์พระเจ้าของอิสราเอล
4He appointed certain of the Levites to minister before the ark of Yahweh, and to celebrate and to thank and praise Yahweh, the God of Israel:
5อาสาฟเป็นหัวหน้า และรองท่านคือเศคาริยาห์ เยอีเอล เชมิราโมท เยฮีเอล มิททีธิยาห์ เอลีอับ เบไนยาห์ โอเบดเอโดม และเยอีเอล ผู้ซึ่งจะเล่นพิณใหญ่และพิณเขาคู่ อาสาฟเป็นคนตีฉาบ
5Asaph the chief, and second to him Zechariah, Jeiel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehiel, and Mattithiah, and Eliab, and Benaiah, and Obed-Edom, and Jeiel, with stringed instruments and with harps; and Asaph with cymbals, sounding aloud;
6และเบไนยาห์กับยาฮาซีเอลปุโรหิตจะเป่าแตรเรื่อยไปหน้าหีบพันธสัญญาของพระเจ้า
6and Benaiah and Jahaziel the priests with trumpets continually, before the ark of the covenant of God.
7แล้วในวันนั้นดาวิดทรงกำหนดเป็นครั้งแรกให้มีการร้องเพลงโมทนาถวายแด่พระเยโฮวาห์โดยอาสาฟและพี่น้องของท่าน
7Then on that day David first ordained to give thanks to Yahweh, by the hand of Asaph and his brothers.
8"จงโมทนาขอบพระคุณพระเยโฮวาห์ จงร้องทูลออกพระนามพระองค์ จงให้บรรดาพระราชกิจของพระองค์แจ้งแก่ชนชาติทั้งหลาย
8Oh give thanks to Yahweh. Call on his name. Make his doings known among the peoples.
9จงร้องเพลงถวายพระองค์ ร้องเพลงสดุดีถวายพระองค์ จงเล่าถึงการมหัศจรรย์ทั้งสิ้นของพระองค์
9Sing to him. Sing praises to him. Tell of all his marvelous works.
10จงอวดพระนามบริสุทธิ์ของพระองค์ ให้จิตใจของบรรดาผู้แสวงหาพระเยโฮวาห์เปรมปรีดิ์
10Glory in his holy name. Let the heart of those who seek Yahweh rejoice.
11จงแสวงหาพระเยโฮวาห์ และพระกำลังของพระองค์ แสวงพระพักตร์ของพระองค์เรื่อยไป
11Seek Yahweh and his strength. Seek his face forever more.
12จงระลึกถึงการอัศจรรย์ซึ่งพระองค์ทรงกระทำ การมหัศจรรย์และคำพิพากษาแห่งพระโอษฐ์ของพระองค์
12Remember his marvelous works that he has done, his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth,
13โอ เชื้อสายของอิสราเอล ผู้รับใช้ของพระองค์ ลูกหลานของยาโคบ ผู้เลือกสรรของพระองค์
13you seed of Israel his servant, you children of Jacob, his chosen ones.
14พระองค์คือพระเยโฮวาห์พระเจ้าของเรา คำพิพากษาของพระองค์อยู่ทั่วไปในแผ่นดินโลก
14He is Yahweh our God. His judgments are in all the earth.
15จงจดจำพันธสัญญาของพระองค์อยู่เป็นนิตย์ คือพระวจนะที่พระองค์ทรงบัญชาไว้ตลอดชั่วหนึ่งพันชั่วอายุ
15Remember his covenant forever, the word which he commanded to a thousand generations,
16คือพันธสัญญาซึ่งพระองค์ทรงกระทำไว้กับอับราฮัม คำปฏิญาณซึ่งทรงกระทำไว้กับอิสอัค
16the covenant which he made with Abraham, his oath to Isaac.
17ซึ่งพระองค์ทรงยืนยันอีกกับยาโคบให้เป็นพระราชบัญญัติ และแก่อิสราเอลให้เป็นพันธสัญญานิรันดร์
17He confirmed the same to Jacob for a statute, and to Israel for an everlasting covenant,
18ว่า `เราจะให้แผ่นดินคานาอันแก่เจ้า เป็นส่วนมรดกของเจ้าทั้งหลาย'
18saying, “I will give you the land of Canaan, The lot of your inheritance,”
19เมื่อเจ้าทั้งหลายยังมีคนจำนวนน้อย จำนวนน้อยจริง ยังเป็นแต่คนอาศัยอยู่ในนั้น
19when you were but a few men in number, yes, very few, and foreigners were in it.
20พเนจรไปจากประชาชาตินี้ถึงประชาชาตินั้น จากราชอาณาจักรนี้ถึงอีกชนชาติหนึ่ง
20They went about from nation to nation, from one kingdom to another people.
21พระองค์มิได้ทรงยอมให้ผู้ใดบีบบังคับเขา พระองค์ทรงขนาบกษัตริย์หลายองค์ด้วยเห็นแก่เขา
21He allowed no man to do them wrong. Yes, he reproved kings for their sakes,
22ว่า `อย่าแตะต้องบรรดาผู้ที่เราเจิมไว้ อย่าทำอันตรายแก่ผู้พยากรณ์ทั้งหลายของเรา'
22“Don’t touch my anointed ones! Do my prophets no harm!”
23แผ่นดินโลกทั้งสิ้น จงร้องเพลงถวายพระเยโฮวาห์ จงประกาศความรอดของพระองค์ทุกๆวัน
23Sing to Yahweh, all the earth! Display his salvation from day to day.
24จงเล่าถึงสง่าราศีของพระองค์ท่ามกลางบรรดาประชาชาติ ถึงการมหัศจรรย์ของพระองค์ท่ามกลางบรรดาชนชาติทั้งหลาย
24Declare his glory among the nations, and his marvelous works among all the peoples.
25เพราะพระเยโฮวาห์นั้นทรงยิ่งใหญ่และสมควรจะสรรเสริญอย่างยิ่ง พระองค์ทรงเป็นที่เกรงกลัวเหนือพระทั้งปวง
25For great is Yahweh, and greatly to be praised. He also is to be feared above all gods.
26เพราะพระทั้งปวงของชนชาติทั้งหลายเป็นรูปเคารพ แต่พระเยโฮวาห์ทรงสร้างฟ้าสวรรค์
26For all the gods of the peoples are idols, but Yahweh made the heavens.
27เกียรติและความโอ่อ่าตระการมีอยู่ต่อพระพักตร์พระองค์ กำลังและความชื่นบานอยู่ในสถานที่ประทับของพระองค์
27Honor and majesty are before him. Strength and gladness are in his place.
28ตระกูลของชนชาติทั้งหลายเอ๋ย จงถวายแด่พระเยโฮวาห์ จงถวายสง่าราศีและกำลังแด่พระเยโฮวาห์
28Ascribe to Yahweh, you relatives of the peoples, ascribe to Yahweh glory and strength!
29จงถวายสง่าราศีซึ่งควรแก่พระนามของพระองค์แด่พระเยโฮวาห์ จงนำเครื่องบูชาและมาเข้าเฝ้าพระองค์ จงนมัสการพระเยโฮวาห์ด้วยเครื่องประดับแห่งความบริสุทธิ์
29Ascribe to Yahweh the glory due to his name. Bring an offering, and come before him. Worship Yahweh in holy array.
30ชาวโลกทั้งสิ้นเอ๋ย จงตัวสั่นต่อเบื้องพระพักตร์พระองค์ เออ พิภพถูกสถาปนาแล้ว จะไม่หวั่นไหวเลย
30Tremble before him, all the earth. The world also is established that it can’t be moved.
31จงให้ฟ้าสวรรค์ยินดีและแผ่นดินโลกเปรมปรีดิ์ ให้เขาพูดในหมู่บรรดาประชาชาติว่า `พระเยโฮวาห์ทรงครอบครอง'
31Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice! Let them say among the nations, “Yahweh reigns!”
32ให้ทะเลคำรน กับสิ่งทั้งปวงที่อยู่ในนั้น ให้ทุ่งนาเริงโลด กับสิ่งทุกอย่างที่อยู่ในนั้น
32Let the sea roar, and its fullness! Let the field exult, and all that is therein!
33แล้วต้นไม้ทั้งสิ้นของป่าไม้จะร้องเพลง เฉพาะพระพักตร์พระเยโฮวาห์ ด้วยพระองค์เสด็จมาพิพากษาโลก
33Then the trees of the forest will sing for joy before Yahweh, for he comes to judge the earth.
34โอ จงโมทนาขอบพระคุณพระเยโฮวาห์เพราะพระองค์ประเสริฐ เพราะความเมตตาของพระองค์ดำรงเป็นนิตย์
34Oh give thanks to Yahweh, for he is good, for his loving kindness endures forever.
35และท่านจงกล่าวว่า `ข้าแต่พระเจ้าแห่งความรอดของข้าพระองค์ทั้งหลาย ขอจงช่วยข้าพระองค์ทั้งหลายให้รอด และขอทรงรวบรวมข้าพระองค์ทั้งหลาย และทรงช่วยข้าพระองค์ทั้งปวงให้พ้นจากประชาชาติทั้งหลาย เพื่อข้าพระองค์ทั้งหลายจะโมทนาขอบพระคุณพระนามอันบริสุทธิ์ของพระองค์ และลิงโลดในการสรรเสริญพระองค์'
35Say, “Save us, God of our salvation! Gather us together and deliver us from the nations, to give thanks to your holy name, to triumph in your praise.”
36จงถวายสาธุการแด่พระเยโฮวาห์พระเจ้าของอิสราเอลแต่นิรันดร์กาลจนถึงนิรันดร์กาล" แล้วประชาชนทั้งปวงได้กล่าวว่า "เอเมน" และได้สรรเสริญพระเยโฮวาห์
36Blessed be Yahweh, the God of Israel, from everlasting even to everlasting. All the people said, “Amen,” and praised Yahweh.
37ดาวิดจึงทรงให้อาสาฟและพี่น้องของท่านอยู่ที่นั่นต่อหน้าหีบพันธสัญญาของพระเยโฮวาห์ ให้ปรนนิบัติอยู่หน้าหีบนั้นเรื่อยไปตามงานประจำวันที่ต้องทำ
37So he left there, before the ark of the covenant of Yahweh, Asaph and his brothers, to minister before the ark continually, as every day’s work required;
38ทั้งโอเบดเอโดมและพี่น้องหกสิบแปดคนของท่านด้วย ฝ่ายโอเบดเอโดมบุตรชายเยดูธูนกับโฮสาห์ให้เป็นคนเฝ้าประตู
38and Obed-Edom with their brothers, sixty-eight; Obed-Edom also the son of Jeduthun and Hosah to be doorkeepers;
39และพระองค์ทรงให้ศาโดกปุโรหิต กับพี่น้องของท่านผู้เป็นปุโรหิต อยู่หน้าพลับพลาแห่งพระเยโฮวาห์ซึ่งอยู่ในปูชนียสถานสูงเมืองกิเบโอน
39and Zadok the priest, and his brothers the priests, before the tabernacle of Yahweh in the high place that was at Gibeon,
40เพื่อถวายเครื่องเผาบูชาแด่พระเยโฮวาห์บนแท่นเครื่องเผาบูชาในในเวลาเช้าเวลาเย็นเสมอ ตามซึ่งได้บันทึกไว้ทั้งสิ้นในพระราชบัญญัติของพระเยโฮวาห์ ซึ่งพระองค์ทรงบัญชาอิสราเอล
40to offer burnt offerings to Yahweh on the altar of burnt offering continually morning and evening, even according to all that is written in the law of Yahweh, which he commanded to Israel;
41เฮมานและเยดูธูนอยู่กับเขาทั้งหลายและบรรดาคนอื่นที่ถูกเลือก และบ่งชื่อไว้ให้ถวายโมทนาแด่พระเยโฮวาห์ เพราะความเมตตาของพระองค์ดำรงอยู่เป็นนิตย์
41and with them Heman and Jeduthun, and the rest who were chosen, who were mentioned by name, to give thanks to Yahweh, because his loving kindness endures forever;
42และพร้อมกับเขาเฮมานและเยดูธูนมีแตรและฉาบเพื่อบรรเลง และเครื่องดนตรีประกอบเพลงถวายพระเจ้า ลูกหลานของเยดูธูนได้รับแต่งตั้งให้ประจำประตู
42and with them Heman and Jeduthun with trumpets and cymbals for those that should sound aloud, and with instruments for the songs of God; and the sons of Jeduthun to be at the gate.
43และประชาชนทั้งปวงต่างก็จากไปยังบ้านของตน และดาวิดเสด็จกลับเพื่ออวยพรแด่ราชวงศ์ของพระองค์
43All the people departed every man to his house: and David returned to bless his house.
