1"ทุกๆสิ้นเจ็ดปีท่านทั้งหลายต้องมีการปลดปล่อย
1At the end of every seven years you shall make a release.
2ให้กระทำการปลดปล่อยดังนี้ เจ้าหนี้ทุกคนจะต้องยกสิ่งที่ตนให้เพื่อนบ้านยืมไปนั้นเสีย อย่าทวงสิ่งนั้นคืนจากเพื่อนบ้านหรือพี่น้องของตนเลย เพราะว่าได้ประกาศการปลดปล่อยของพระเยโฮวาห์แล้ว
2This is the way of the release: every creditor shall release that which he has lent to his neighbor; he shall not exact it of his neighbor and his brother; because Yahweh’s release has been proclaimed.
3ท่านทั้งหลายจะทวงจากคนต่างประเทศคืนได้ แต่ถ้ามีสิ่งใดของท่านซึ่งอยู่กับพี่น้องก็ให้มือของท่านปล่อยไป
3Of a foreigner you may exact it: but whatever of your is with your brother your hand shall release.
4ยกเว้นเมื่อไม่มีคนยากจนในหมู่พวกท่านทั้งหลาย เพราะว่าพระเยโฮวาห์จะทรงอำนวยพระพรแก่ท่านในแผ่นดิน ซึ่งพระเยโฮวาห์พระเจ้าของท่านประทานให้ท่านเป็นมรดกยึดครองนั้น
4However there shall be no poor with you; (for Yahweh will surely bless you in the land which Yahweh your God gives you for an inheritance to possess it;)
5ถ้าท่านเพียงแต่เชื่อฟังพระสุรเสียงของพระเยโฮวาห์พระเจ้าของท่าน พึงระวังที่จะกระทำตามพระบัญญัติทั้งหลายซึ่งข้าพเจ้าได้บัญชาท่านในวันนี้
5if only you diligently listen to the voice of Yahweh your God, to observe to do all this commandment which I command you this day.
6เพราะพระเยโฮวาห์พระเจ้าของท่านจะทรงอำนวยพระพรท่านดังที่พระองค์สัญญาต่อท่านนั้น ท่านทั้งหลายจะให้ประชาชาติหลายชาติยืมของของท่าน แต่ท่านอย่ายืมของเขาเลย ท่านทั้งหลายจะปกครองอยู่เหนือหลายประชาชาติ แต่เขาทั้งหลายจะไม่ปกครองเหนือท่าน
6For Yahweh your God will bless you, as he promised you: and you shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow; and you shall rule over many nations, but they shall not rule over you.
7ถ้าในท่ามกลางท่านทั้งหลายมีคนจนสักคนหนึ่งเป็นพี่น้องของท่านอยู่ภายในประตูเมืองใดๆ ในแผ่นดินซึ่งพระเยโฮวาห์พระเจ้าของท่านประทานแก่ท่าน ท่านอย่ามีใจแข็งหดมือของท่านไว้เสียต่อหน้าพี่น้องของท่านที่ยากจนนั้น
7If a poor man, one of your brothers, is with you within any of your gates in your land which Yahweh your God gives you, you shall not harden your heart, nor shut your hand from your poor brother;
8แต่ท่านทั้งหลายจงยื่นมือของท่านอย่างใจกว้างให้เขา และให้เขายืมข้าวของพอแก่ความต้องการของเขา ไม่ว่าเป็นข้าวของสิ่งใดๆ
8but you shall surely open your hand to him, and shall surely lend him sufficient for his need, which he lacks.
9จงระวังให้ดีเกรงว่าจะมีความคิดในจิตใจชั่วของท่านว่า `ปีที่เจ็ด ปีที่จะต้องปลดปล่อยมาถึงแล้ว' และตาท่านก็ริษยาต่อพี่น้องของท่าน ท่านจึงไม่ยอมให้อะไรเขาเลย และเขาจะร้องทูลพระเยโฮวาห์เรื่องท่าน บาปก็จะตกแก่ท่าน
9Beware that there not be a base thought in your heart, saying, “The seventh year, the year of release, is at hand”; and your eye be evil against your poor brother, and you give him nothing; and he cry to Yahweh against you, and it be sin to you.
10ท่านจงให้เขา และเมื่อให้เขาแล้วอย่ามีจิตคิดเสียดาย เพราะเหตุนี้พระเยโฮวาห์พระเจ้าของท่านจะทรงอำนวยพระพรแก่ท่านในบรรดากิจการทั้งสิ้นของท่าน ไม่ว่าท่านจะลงมือกระทำสิ่งใด
10You shall surely give him, and your heart shall not be grieved when you give to him; because that for this thing Yahweh your God will bless you in all your work, and in all that you put your hand to.
11เพราะว่าคนจนจะไม่หมดไปจากแผ่นดิน เพราะฉะนั้นข้าพเจ้าจึงบัญชาท่านว่า `ท่านต้องยื่นมือให้อย่างใจกว้างต่อพี่น้องของท่าน คือต่อคนยากจนคนขัดสนซึ่งอยู่ในแผ่นดินของท่าน'
11For the poor will never cease out of the land: therefore I command you, saying, You shall surely open your hand to your brother, to your needy, and to your poor, in your land.
12ถ้าพี่น้องของท่านซึ่งเป็นคนฮีบรูไม่ว่าชายหรือหญิง ที่เขาขายไว้แก่ท่าน จงให้ปรนนิบัติท่านหกปี เมื่อถึงปีที่เจ็ดก็ให้ปล่อยเขาเป็นอิสระพ้นไปจากท่าน
12If your brother, a Hebrew man, or a Hebrew woman, is sold to you, and serves you six years; then in the seventh year you shall let him go free from you.
13และเมื่อท่านปล่อยเขาเป็นอิสระไปจากท่าน ท่านอย่าปล่อยเขาไปมือเปล่า
13When you let him go free from you, you shall not let him go empty:
14ท่านจงมีใจกว้างขวางจัดของให้แก่เขา เป็นของจากฝูงแพะแกะของท่าน จากลานนวดข้าวของท่าน และจากบ่อย่ำองุ่นของท่าน ท่านจงให้แก่เขาตามสมควรตามที่พระเยโฮวาห์พระเจ้าของท่านทรงอำนวยพระพรแก่ท่าน
14you shall furnish him liberally out of your flock, and out of your threshing floor, and out of your winepress; as Yahweh your God has blessed you, you shall give to him.
15ท่านจงจำไว้ว่าท่านเคยเป็นทาสในแผ่นดินอียิปต์และพระเยโฮวาห์พระเจ้าของท่านได้ทรงไถ่ท่านไว้ เพราะฉะนั้นข้าพเจ้าจึงบัญชาเรื่องนี้แก่ท่านในวันนี้
15You shall remember that you were a bondservant in the land of Egypt, and Yahweh your God redeemed you: therefore I command you this thing today.
16แต่ถ้าทาสนั้นจะกล่าวแก่ท่านว่า `ข้าพเจ้าจะไม่ไปจากท่าน' เพราะเขารักท่านและครอบครัวของท่าน เพราะเขาอยู่กับท่านสบายดี
16It shall be, if he tells you, “I will not go out from you”; because he loves you and your house, because he is well with you;
17จงเอาเหล็กแทงใบหูของเขาให้ทะลุไปติดกับประตูเรือน ดังนี้เขาจะเป็นทาสของท่านตลอดไป ท่านจงกระทำเช่นนี้แก่ทาสหญิงด้วย
17then you shall take an awl, and thrust it through his ear to the door, and he shall be your servant forever. Also to your female servant you shall do likewise.
18เมื่อท่านปล่อยเขาให้เป็นอิสระนั้นท่านอย่ารู้สึกหนักอกหนักใจ เพราะว่าเขาได้รับใช้ท่านมาหกปีด้วยมีค่าแรงมากกว่าลูกจ้างเป็นสองเท่า พระเยโฮวาห์พระเจ้าของท่านจะทรงอำนวยพระพรแก่ท่านในการทั้งปวงที่ท่านได้กระทำนั้น
18It shall not seem hard to you, when you let him go free from you; for to the double of the hire of a hireling has he served you six years: and Yahweh your God will bless you in all that you do.
19สัตว์ตัวผู้หัวปีซึ่งเกิดในฝูงวัวหรือฝูงแพะแกะนั้น ท่านทั้งหลายจงถวายไว้แด่พระเยโฮวาห์พระเจ้าของท่าน ท่านอย่าใช้วัวหัวปีทำงาน หรือตัดขนจากแกะหัวปี
19All the firstborn males that are born of your herd and of your flock you shall sanctify to Yahweh your God: you shall do no work with the firstborn of your herd, nor shear the firstborn of your flock.
20ท่านและครอบครัวของท่านจงรับประทานสัตว์หัวปีนั้นต่อพระพักตร์พระเยโฮวาห์พระเจ้าของท่านทุกๆปี ในสถานที่ซึ่งพระเยโฮวาห์จะทรงกำหนดไว้นั้น
20You shall eat it before Yahweh your God year by year in the place which Yahweh shall choose, you and your household.
21แต่ถ้าสัตว์นั้นมีตำหนิใดๆคือขาเกหรือตาบอด หรือมีตำหนิเลวร้ายอย่างใด ท่านอย่าถวายบูชาแด่พระเยโฮวาห์พระเจ้าของท่าน
21If it has any blemish, is lame or blind, or has any defect whatever, you shall not sacrifice it to Yahweh your God.
22ท่านจงรับประทานสัตว์นั้นภายในประตูเมืองของท่าน ทั้งผู้ที่มลทินและผู้ที่สะอาดด้วยก็รับประทานได้ ดังว่าเป็นละมั่งหรือกวาง
22You shall eat it within your gates: the unclean and the clean shall eat it alike, as the gazelle, and as the hart.
23เพียงแต่ท่านอย่ารับประทานเลือดของมันเท่านั้น ท่านจงเทออกทิ้งบนดินเหมือนเทน้ำ"
23Only you shall not eat its blood; you shall pour it out on the ground as water.
