1พระวจนะของพระเยโฮวาห์มายังข้าพเจ้าอีกว่า
1Moreover the word of Yahweh came to me, saying,
2"บุตรแห่งมนุษย์เอ๋ย จงมุ่งหน้าของเจ้าต่อสู้ภูเขาเสอีร์ และพยากรณ์ต่อมัน
2Son of man, set your face against Mount Seir, and prophesy against it,
3และกล่าวแก่มันว่า องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าพระเจ้าตรัสดังนี้ว่า ดูเถิด ภูเขาเสอีร์เอ๋ย เราต่อสู้กับเจ้า และเราจะเหยียดมือของเราต่อสู้เจ้า และเราจะกระทำให้เจ้ารกร้างที่สุด
3and tell it, Thus says the Lord Yahweh: Behold, I am against you, Mount Seir, and I will stretch out my hand against you, and I will make you a desolation and an astonishment.
4เราจะกระทำให้หัวเมืองของเจ้าถูกทิ้งไว้เสียเปล่าและเจ้าจะเป็นที่รกร้าง และเจ้าจะทราบว่าเราคือพระเยโฮวาห์
4I will lay your cities waste, and you shall be desolate; and you shall know that I am Yahweh.
5เพราะเจ้าพยาบาทอยู่เป็นนิตย์ และให้โลหิตของประชาชนอิสราเอลไหลออกด้วยอำนาจของดาบในเวลาพิบัติของเขา ในเวลาที่ความชั่วช้าของเขาสิ้นสุดลง
5Because you have had a perpetual enmity, and have given over the children of Israel to the power of the sword in the time of their calamity, in the time of the iniquity of the end;
6องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าพระเจ้าจึงตรัสว่า เพราะฉะนั้น เรามีชีวิตอยู่แน่ฉันใด เราจะเตรียมเจ้าเพื่อรับโทษแห่งการให้โลหิตตก และโลหิตจะไล่ตามเจ้า เพราะเจ้ามิได้เกลียดชังเรื่องโลหิต เพราะฉะนั้นโลหิตจึงจะไล่ตามเจ้าไป
6therefore, as I live, says the Lord Yahweh, I will prepare you for blood, and blood shall pursue you: since you have not hated blood, therefore blood shall pursue you.
7ดังนั้นเราจะกระทำให้ภูเขาเสอีร์รกร้างที่สุด และเราจะตัดผู้ที่ผ่านออกมาและผู้ที่กลับเข้าไปเสียจากมัน
7Thus will I make Mount Seir an astonishment and a desolation; and I will cut off from it him who passes through and him who returns.
8ภูเขาของเขานั้น เราจะให้มีผู้ที่ถูกฆ่าเต็มไปหมด ผู้ที่ถูกฆ่าด้วยดาบจะล้มลงตามเนินเขาของเจ้า ตามหุบเขาของเจ้า และในห้วยทั้งสิ้นของเจ้า
8I will fill its mountains with its slain: in your hills and in your valleys and in all your watercourses shall they fall who are slain with the sword.
9เราจะกระทำเจ้าให้เป็นที่รกร้างอยู่เนืองนิตย์ และหัวเมืองของเจ้าจะไม่กลับคืนมาอีก แล้วเจ้าจะทราบว่าเราคือพระเยโฮวาห์
9I will make you a perpetual desolation, and your cities shall not be inhabited; and you shall know that I am Yahweh.
10เพราะเจ้ากล่าวว่า `ประชาชาติทั้งสองนี้และประเทศทั้งสองนี้จะต้องเป็นของเรา เราจะเอาเขามาเป็นกรรมสิทธิ์' ถึงแม้พระเยโฮวาห์สถิตอยู่ที่นั่น
10Because you have said, These two nations and these two countries shall be mine, and we will possess it; whereas Yahweh was there:
11เพราะฉะนั้น องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าพระเจ้าตรัสว่า เรามีชีวิตอยู่แน่ฉันใด เราจะกระทำต่อเจ้าตามความกริ้วและความอิจฉาของเจ้า ซึ่งเจ้าสำแดงเพราะความเกลียดชังของเจ้าซึ่งมีต่อเขา เมื่อเราพิพากษาเจ้า เราจึงจะสำแดงตัวของเราในหมู่พวกเขาให้เขารู้จัก
11therefore, as I live, says the Lord Yahweh, I will do according to your anger, and according to your envy which you have shown out of your hatred against them; and I will make myself known among them, when I shall judge you.
12และเจ้าจะทราบว่า เราคือพระเยโฮวาห์ และทราบว่าเราได้ยินคำหมิ่นประมาททั้งปวงของเจ้า ซึ่งเจ้าได้พูดต่อภูเขาทั้งหลายแห่งอิสราเอลว่า `มันถูกทิ้งไว้ให้รกร้าง มันถูกมอบไว้ให้เราเผาผลาญเสีย'
12You shall know that I, Yahweh, have heard all your insults which you have spoken against the mountains of Israel, saying, They are laid desolate, they have been given us to devour.
13ด้วยปากของเจ้า เจ้าเบ่งตัวเจ้าต่อสู้เรา และว่าเราอีกมากหลาย เราได้ยินแล้ว
13You have magnified yourselves against me with your mouth, and have multiplied your words against me: I have heard it.
14องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าพระเจ้าตรัสดังนี้ว่า เมื่อแผ่นดินโลกทั้งสิ้นชื่นชมยินดี เราจะกระทำเจ้าให้รกร้างไป
14Thus says the Lord Yahweh: When the whole earth rejoices, I will make you desolate.
15ใเจ้าได้ชื่นชมยินดีต่อมรดกแห่งวงศ์วานอิสราเอลเพราะมันเป็นที่รกร้างฉันใด เราจะกระทำแก่เจ้าฉันนั้น ภูเขาเสอีร์เอ๋ย รวมทั้งเอโดมทั้งหมด ทั้งหมดเลย เจ้าจะต้องเป็นที่รกร้าง แล้วเขาทั้งหลายจะทราบว่าเราคือพระเยโฮวาห์"
15As you rejoiced over the inheritance of the house of Israel, because it was desolate, so will I do to you: you shall be desolate, Mount Seir, and all Edom, even all of it; and they shall know that I am Yahweh.
