¹โยเซฟอดกลั้นต่อหน้าบรรดาผู้ที่ยืนอยู่ต่อไปอีกมิได้ ท่านก็ร้องสั่งว่า "ให้ทุกคนออกไปเสียเถิด" จึงไม่มีผู้ใดยืนอยู่กับท่านด้วย ขณะที่โยเซฟแจ้งให้พี่น้องรู้จักตัวท่าน

¹Then Joseph couldn’t control himself before all those who stood before him, and he cried, “Cause everyone to go out from me!” No one else stood with him, while Joseph made himself known to his brothers.

²แล้วโยเซฟร้องไห้เสียงดัง คนอียิปต์ทั้งหลายและคนในสำนักพระราชวังฟาโรห์ก็ได้ยิน

²He wept aloud. The Egyptians heard, and the house of Pharaoh heard.

³โยเซฟบอกพวกพี่น้องของตนว่า "เราคือโยเซฟ บิดาเรายังมีชีวิตอยู่หรือ" ฝ่ายพวกพี่น้องไม่รู้ที่จะตอบประการใดเพราะตกใจกลัวที่เผชิญหน้ากับโยเซฟ

³Joseph said to his brothers, “I am Joseph! Does my father still live?” His brothers couldn’t answer him; for they were terrified at his presence.

⁴โยเซฟจึงบอกพี่น้องของตนว่า "เชิญเข้ามาใกล้เราเถิด" เขาก็เข้ามาใกล้แล้วโยเซฟว่า "เราคือโยเซฟน้องที่พี่ขายมายังอียิปต์

⁴Joseph said to his brothers, “Come near to me, please.” They came near. “He said, I am Joseph, your brother, whom you sold into Egypt.

⁵แต่บัดนี้อย่าเสียใจไปเลย อย่าโกรธตัวเองที่ขายเรามาที่นี่ เพราะว่าพระเจ้าทรงใช้เราให้มาก่อนหน้าพี่เพื่อจะได้ช่วยชีวิต

⁵Now don’t be grieved, nor angry with yourselves, that you sold me here, for God sent me before you to preserve life.

⁶เพราะมีการกันดารอาหารในแผ่นดินสองปีแล้ว ยังอีกห้าปีจะทำนาหรือเกี่ยวข้าวไม่ได้เลย

⁶For these two years the famine has been in the land, and there are yet five years, in which there will be neither plowing nor harvest.

⁷พระเจ้าทรงใช้เรามาก่อนพี่ เพื่อสงวนหมู่คนจากพวกพี่ไว้บนแผ่นดิน และช่วยชีวิตของพี่ไว้ด้วยการช่วยให้พ้นอันใหญ่หลวง

⁷God sent me before you to preserve for you a remnant in the earth, and to save you alive by a great deliverance.

⁸ฉะนั้นบัดนี้มิใช่พี่เป็นผู้ให้เรามาที่นี่ แต่พระเจ้าทรงให้มา พระองค์ทรงโปรดให้เราเป็นเหมือนบิดาแก่ฟาโรห์ เป็นเจ้าในราชวังทั้งสิ้น และเป็นผู้ครอบครองประเทศอียิปต์ทั้งหมด

⁸So now it wasn’t you who sent me here, but God, and he has made me a father to Pharaoh, lord of all his house, and ruler over all the land of Egypt.

⁹เจ้าจงรีบขึ้นไปหาบิดาเราบอกท่านว่า `โยเซฟบุตรชายของท่านพูดดังนี้ว่า "พระเจ้าทรงโปรดให้ลูกเป็นเจ้าเหนืออียิปต์ทั้งสิ้น ขอลงมาหาลูก อย่าได้ช้า

⁹Hurry, and go up to my father, and tell him, ‘This is what your son Joseph says, “God has made me lord of all Egypt. Come down to me. Don’t wait.

¹⁰พ่อจะได้อาศัยอยู่ในแผ่นดินโกเชน และพ่อจะได้อยู่ใกล้ลูก ทั้งตัวพ่อกับลูกหลานและฝูงแพะแกะ ฝูงวัว และทรัพย์ทั้งหมดของพ่อ

¹⁰You shall dwell in the land of Goshen, and you will be near to me, you, your children, your children’s children, your flocks, your herds, and all that you have.

¹¹ลูกจะบำรุงรักษาพ่อที่นั่น ด้วยยังจะกันดารอาหารอีกห้าปี มิฉะนั้นพ่อและครอบครัวของพ่อและผู้คนที่พ่อมีอยู่จะยากจนไป"'

¹¹There I will nourish you; for there are yet five years of famine; lest you come to poverty, you, and your household, and all that you have.”’

¹²ดูเถิด นัยน์ตาพี่และนัยน์ตาของเบนยามินน้องชายของข้าพเจ้าได้เห็นว่าเป็นปากของข้าพเจ้าเองที่ได้พูดกับพี่

¹²Behold, your eyes see, and the eyes of my brother Benjamin, that it is my mouth that speaks to you.

¹³พี่จงเล่าให้บิดาของเราฟังถึงยศศักดิ์ที่ข้าพเจ้ามีอยู่ในอียิปต์และที่พี่ได้เห็นนั้นทุกประการ พี่จงรีบพาบิดาเราลงมาที่นี่เถิด"

¹³You shall tell my father of all my glory in Egypt, and of all that you have seen. You shall hurry and bring my father down here.”

¹⁴โยเซฟกอดคอเบนยามินผู้น้องแล้วร้องไห้ เบนยามินก็กอดคอโยเซฟร้องไห้เหมือนกัน

¹⁴He fell on his brother Benjamin’s neck, and wept, and Benjamin wept on his neck.

¹⁵ยิ่งกว่านั้นโยเซฟจึงจุบพี่ชายทั้งปวงและร้องไห้ หลังจากนั้นพี่น้องของท่านก็สนทนากับโยเซฟ

¹⁵He kissed all his brothers, and wept on them. After that his brothers talked with him.

¹⁶ข่าวว่า "พี่น้องของโยเซฟมา" ไปถึงราชวังฟาโรห์ ฟาโรห์กับข้าราชการของพระองค์ก็พากันยินดี

¹⁶The report of it was heard in Pharaoh’s house, saying, “Joseph’s brothers have come.” It pleased Pharaoh well, and his servants.

¹⁷ฟาโรห์รับสั่งกับโยเซฟว่า "พูดกับพี่น้องของท่านว่า `ทำดังนี้ คือเอาของบรรทุกสัตว์กลับไปแผ่นดินคานาอัน

¹⁷Pharaoh said to Joseph, “Tell your brothers, ‘Do this. Load your animals, and go, travel to the land of Canaan.

¹⁸พาบิดาและครอบครัวของเจ้ามาหาเรา เราจะประทานของดีที่สุดในแผ่นดินอียิปต์ให้พวกเจ้า พวกเจ้าจะได้รับประทานผลอันอุดมบริบูรณ์ของประเทศนี้'

¹⁸Take your father and your households, and come to me, and I will give you the good of the land of Egypt, and you will eat the fat of the land.’

¹⁹เราสั่งเจ้าแล้ว จงทำดังนี้ เอารถบรรทุกจากประเทศอียิปต์ไปรับเด็กเล็กๆและภรรยาของเจ้ากับนำบิดาของเจ้ามา

¹⁹Now you are commanded: do this. Take wagons out of the land of Egypt for your little ones, and for your wives, and bring your father, and come.

²⁰อย่าเสียดายทรัพย์สมบัติเลย เพราะของดีที่สุดทั่วประเทศอียิปต์เป็นของเจ้าแล้ว"

²⁰Also, don’t concern yourselves about your belongings, for the good of all of the land of Egypt is yours.”

²¹บรรดาบุตรของอิสราเอลก็ทำตาม โยเซฟจัดรถบรรทุกให้เขาตามรับสั่งของฟาโรห์ กับให้เสบียงรับประทานตามทาง

²¹The sons of Israel did so. Joseph gave them wagons, according to the commandment of Pharaoh, and gave them provision for the way.

²²โยเซฟให้เสื้อผ้าคนละสำรับ แต่ให้เงินแก่เบนยามินสามร้อยเหรียญกับเสื้อห้าสำรับ

²²He gave each one of them changes of clothing, but to Benjamin he gave three hundred pieces of silver and five changes of clothing.

²³โยเซฟฝากของต่อไปนี้ให้บิดา คือลาสิบตัวบรรทุกของดีที่สุดในประเทศอียิปต์ และลาตัวเมียอีกสิบตัวบรรทุกข้าว ขนมปัง และเสบียงอาหารสำหรับให้บิดารับประทานตามทาง

²³He sent the following to his father: ten donkeys loaded with the good things of Egypt, and ten female donkeys loaded with grain and bread and provision for his father by the way.

²⁴ดังนั้นโยเซฟส่งพี่น้องไป แล้วเขาก็ออกไป แล้วท่านสั่งเขาว่า "จงระวังให้ดีอย่าได้วิวาทกันตามทาง"

²⁴So he sent his brothers away, and they departed. He said to them, “See that you don’t quarrel on the way.”

²⁵พวกพี่น้องก็พากันขึ้นไปจากอียิปต์เข้าไปในแผ่นดินคานาอันไปหายาโคบบิดาของตน

²⁵They went up out of Egypt, and came into the land of Canaan, to Jacob their father.

²⁶บอกบิดาว่า "โยเซฟยังมีชีวิตอยู่ ท่านเป็นผู้ครอบครองประเทศอียิปต์ทั้งหมด" แต่จิตใจยาโคบงงงันเพราะยังไม่เชื่อเขา

²⁶They told him, saying, “Joseph is still alive, and he is ruler over all the land of Egypt.” His heart fainted, for he didn’t believe them.

²⁷เขาจึงเล่าคำของโยเซฟให้บิดาฟังทุกประการ คือคำที่โยเซฟสั่งพวกเขาไว้ เมื่อยาโคบเห็นรถบรรทุกที่โยเซฟส่งมารับตน จิตใจของท่านก็ฟื้นแช่มชื่นขึ้น

²⁷They told him all the words of Joseph, which he had said to them. When he saw the wagons which Joseph had sent to carry him, the spirit of Jacob, their father, revived.

²⁸อิสราเอลจึงว่า "เราอิ่มใจแล้ว โยเซฟลูกเรายังมีชีวิตอยู่ เราจะไปเห็นลูกก่อนเราตาย"

²⁸Israel said, “It is enough. Joseph my son is still alive. I will go and see him before I die.”
