1พระเจ้าทรงระลึกถึงโนอาห์ บรรดาสัตว์ที่มีชีวิตและสัตว์ใช้งานทั้งปวงที่อยู่กับท่านในนาวา และพระเจ้าทรงทำให้ลมพัดมาเหนือแผ่นดินโลก และน้ำทั้งปวงก็ลดลง
1God remembered Noah, all the animals, and all the livestock that were with him in the ship; and God made a wind to pass over the earth. The waters subsided.
2น้ำพุทั้งหลายที่อยู่ใต้บาดาลและช่องฟ้าทั้งปวงก็ปิด และฝนที่ตกจากฟ้าก็หยุด
2The deep’s fountains and the sky’s windows were also stopped, and the rain from the sky was restrained.
3น้ำก็ค่อยๆลดลงจากแผ่นดินโลก และล่วงไปร้อยห้าสิบวันแล้วน้ำก็ลดลง
3The waters receded from the earth continually. After the end of one hundred fifty days the waters decreased.
4ณ เดือนที่เจ็ดวันที่สิบเจ็ดนาวาก็ค้างอยู่บนเทือกเขาอารารัต
4The ship rested in the seventh month, on the seventeenth day of the month, on Ararat’s mountains.
5น้ำก็ค่อยๆลดลงจนถึงเดือนที่สิบ ในเดือนที่สิบ ณ วันที่หนึ่งของเดือนนั้น ยอดภูเขาต่างๆโผล่ขึ้นมา
5The waters receded continually until the tenth month. In the tenth month, on the first day of the month, the tops of the mountains were seen.
6ต่อจากนั้นอีกสี่สิบวัน โนอาห์ก็เปิดช่องในนาวาที่ท่านได้ทำไว้นั้น
6It happened at the end of forty days, that Noah opened the window of the ship which he had made,
7ท่านปล่อยกาตัวหนึ่ง ซึ่งมันบินไปมาจนกระทั้งน้ำลดแห้งจากแผ่นดินโลก
7and he sent out a raven. It went back and forth, until the waters were dried up from the earth.
8ท่านจึงปล่อยนกเขาตัวหนึ่งด้วยเพื่อจะรู้ว่าน้ำได้ลดลงจากพื้นแผ่นดินโลกหรือยัง
8He sent out a dove from him, to see if the waters were abated from the surface of the ground,
9แต่นกเขาไม่พบที่ที่จะจับอาศัยอยู่ได้เพราะน้ำยังท่วมทั่วพื้นแผ่นดินโลกอยู่ มันจึงได้กลับมาหาท่านในนาวา ดังนั้นท่านจึงยื่นมือออกไปจับนกเขาเข้ามาไว้ด้วยกันในนาวา
9but the dove found no place to rest her foot, and she returned to him into the ship; for the waters were on the surface of the whole earth. He put out his hand, and took her, and brought her to him into the ship.
10ท่านคอยอยู่อีกเจ็ดวัน ท่านจึงปล่อยนกเขาไปจากนาวาอีกครั้งหนึ่ง
10He stayed yet another seven days; and again he sent the dove out of the ship.
11ในเวลาเย็นนกเขาก็กลับมายังท่าน ดูเถิด มันคาบใบมะกอกเทศเขียวสดมา ดังนั้นโนอาห์จึงรู้ว่า น้ำได้ลดลงจากแผ่นดินโลกแล้ว
11The dove came back to him at evening, and, behold, in her mouth was an olive leaf plucked off. So Noah knew that the waters were abated from the earth.
12ท่านคอยอยู่อีกเจ็ดวัน และปล่อยนกเขาออกไป แล้วมันไม่กลับมาหาท่านอีกเลย
12He stayed yet another seven days, and sent out the dove; and she didn’t return to him any more.
13ต่อมาปีที่หกร้อยเอ็ดเดือนที่หนึ่งวันที่หนึ่งของเดือนนั้นน้ำก็แห้งจากแผ่นดินโลก โนอาห์ก็เปิดหลังคาของนาวาและมองดู ดูเถิด พื้นแผ่นดินแห้งแล้ว
13It happened in the six hundred first year, in the first month, the first day of the month, the waters were dried up from the earth. Noah removed the covering of the ship, and looked. He saw that the surface of the ground was dried.
14ในเดือนที่สองวันที่ยี่สิบเจ็ดของเดือนนั้นแผ่นดินโลกก็แห้งสนิท
14In the second month, on the twenty-seventh day of the month, the earth was dry.
15พระเจ้าตรัสแก่โนอาห์ว่า
15God spoke to Noah, saying,
16"จงออกไปจากนาวา ทั้งเจ้า ภรรยา บุตรชาย และบุตรสะใภ้ทั้งหลายของเจ้า
16“Go out of the ship, you, and your wife, and your sons, and your sons’ wives with you.
17จงพาสัตว์ที่มีชีวิตทั้งปวงที่อยู่ด้วยกันกับเจ้า คือบรรดาเนื้อหนัง ทั้งนก สัตว์ใช้งาน และสัตว์เลื้อยคลานทั้งปวงที่คลานไปมาบนแผ่นดินโลกให้ออกมา เพื่อพวกมันจะทวีมากขึ้นบนแผ่นดินโลก และมีลูกดกทวีมากขึ้นบนแผ่นดินโลก"
17Bring out with you every living thing that is with you of all flesh, including birds, livestock, and every creeping thing that creeps on the earth, that they may breed abundantly in the earth, and be fruitful, and multiply on the earth.”
18โนอาห์จึงออกไป พร้อมทั้งบุตรชาย ภรรยา และบุตรสะใภ้ทั้งหลายที่อยู่กับท่าน
18Noah went out, with his sons, his wife, and his sons’ wives with him.
19สัตว์ป่าทั้งปวง บรรดาสัตว์เลื้อยคลาน นกทั้งปวง และทุกสิ่งที่คลานไปมาบนแผ่นดินโลกตามชนิดของพวกมันออกไปจากนาวา
19Every animal, every creeping thing, and every bird, whatever moves on the earth, after their families, went out of the ship.
20โนอาห์ก็สร้างแท่นบูชาแด่พระเยโฮวาห์ และเอาบรรดาสัตว์ที่สะอาดและบรรดานกที่สะอาดถวายเป็นเครื่องเผาบูชาที่แท่นนั้น
20Noah built an altar to Yahweh, and took of every clean animal, and of every clean bird, and offered burnt offerings on the altar.
21พระเยโฮวาห์ได้ดมกลิ่นหอมหวาน และพระเยโฮวาห์ทรงดำริในพระทัยว่า "เราจะไม่สาปแช่งแผ่นดินอีกเพราะเหตุมนุษย์ ด้วยว่าเจตนาในใจของเขาล้วนแต่ชั่วร้ายตั้งแต่เด็กมา เราจะไม่ประหารสิ่งทั้งปวงที่มีชีวิตอีกเหมือนอย่างที่เราได้กระทำแล้วนั้น
21Yahweh smelled the pleasant aroma. Yahweh said in his heart, “I will not again curse the ground any more for man’s sake, because the imagination of man’s heart is evil from his youth; neither will I ever again strike everything living, as I have done.
22ในขณะที่โลกยังดำรงอยู่นั้น จะมีฤดูหว่านฤดูเก็บเกี่ยว เวลาเย็นเวลาร้อน ฤดูร้อนฤดูหนาว กลางวันกลางคืนต่อไป"
22While the earth remains, seed time and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.”
