1เพื่อเห็นแก่ศิโยน ข้าพเจ้าจะไม่ระงับเสียง แลเพื่อเห็นแก่เยรูซาเล็ม ข้าพเจ้าจะไม่นิ่งเฉยอยู่ จนกว่าความชอบธรรมของกรุงนี้จะออกไปอย่างความสุกใส และความรอดของกรุงนี้อย่างคบเพลิงที่ลุกอยู่
1For Zion’s sake will I not hold my peace, and for Jerusalem’s sake I will not rest, until her righteousness go forth as brightness, and her salvation as a lamp that burns.
2บรรดาประชาชาติจะเห็นความชอบธรรมของเจ้า และกษัตริย์ทั้งหลายจะเห็นสง่าราศีของเจ้า และเขาจะเรียกเจ้าด้วยชื่อใหม่ ซึ่งพระโอษฐ์ของพระเยโฮวาห์จะประทาน
2The nations shall see your righteousness, and all kings your glory, and you shall be called by a new name, which the mouth of Yahweh shall name.
3เจ้าจะเป็นมงกุฎแห่งสง่าราศีในพระหัตถ์ของพระเยโฮวาห์ และเป็นราชมงกุฎในพระหัตถ์แห่งพระเจ้าของเจ้า
3You shall also be a crown of beauty in the hand of Yahweh, and a royal diadem in the hand of your God.
4เขาจะไม่ขนานนามเจ้าอีกว่า "ถูกทอดทิ้ง" และเขาจะไม่เรียกแผ่นดินของเจ้าอีกว่า "ซึ่งร้างเปล่า" แต่เขาจะเรียกเจ้าว่า "เฮฟซีบาห์" และเรียกแผ่นดินของเจ้าว่า "บิวลาห์" เพราะพระเยโฮวาห์ทรงปีติยินดีในเจ้า และแผ่นดินของเจ้าจะแต่งงาน
4You shall no more be termed Forsaken; neither shall your land any more be termed Desolate: but you shall be called Hephzibah, and your land Beulah; for Yahweh delights in you, and your land shall be married.
5เพราะชายหนุ่มแต่งงานกับหญิงพรหมจารีฉันใด บุตรชายทั้งหลายของเจ้าจะแต่งกับเจ้าฉันนั้น และเจ้าบ่าวเปรมปรีดิ์เพราะเจ้าสาวฉันใด พระเจ้าของเจ้าจะเปรมปรีดิ์เพราะเจ้าฉันนั้น
5For as a young man marries a virgin, so your sons shall marry you; and as the bridegroom rejoices over the bride, so your God will rejoice over you.
6โอ เยรูซาเล็มเอ๋ย บนกำแพงของเจ้า เราได้วางยามไว้ ตลอดกลางวันและตลอดกลางคืน เขาทั้งหลายจะไม่ระงับเสียงเลย เจ้าทั้งหลายผู้ที่กล่าวถึงพระเยโฮวาห์ ไม่ต้องระงับเสียง
6I have set watchmen on your walls, Jerusalem; they shall never hold their peace day nor night: you who call on Yahweh, take no rest,
7และอย่าให้พระองค์หยุดพักจนกว่าพระองค์จะสถาปนา และกระทำกรุงเยรูซาเล็มให้เป็นที่สรรเสริญในแผ่นดินโลก
7and give him no rest, until he establishes, and until he makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth.
8พระเยโฮวาห์ทรงปฏิญาณด้วยพระหัตถ์ขวาของพระองค์ และด้วยพระกรอานุภาพของพระองค์ว่า "แน่นอนเราจะไม่ให้ข้าวของเจ้าเป็นอาหารของศัตรูของเจ้าอีก และบรรดาบุตรชายของคนต่างด้าวจะไม่ดื่มน้ำองุ่นของเจ้า ซึ่งเจ้าตรากตรำได้มานั้น
8Yahweh has sworn by his right hand, and by the arm of his strength, “Surely I will no more give your grain to be food for your enemies; and foreigners shall not drink your new wine, for which you have labored:
9แต่ผู้ใดที่เกี่ยวเก็บไว้จะได้กินและสรรเสริญพระเยโฮวาห์ และบรรดาผู้ที่เก็บรวบรวมจะได้ดื่มในลานสถานอันบริสุทธิ์ของเรา"
9but those who have garnered it shall eat it, and praise Yahweh; and those who have gathered it shall drink it in the courts of my sanctuary.”
10จงไป จงไปทางประตูเมือง จัดเตรียมทางไว้ให้ชนชาตินี้ จงพูน จงพูนทางหลวงขึ้น จงเก็บกวาดหินเสียให้หมด จงยกสัญญาณไว้เหนือชนชาติทั้งหลาย
10Go through, go through the gates! Prepare the way of the people! Cast up, cast up the highway! Gather out the stones! Lift up a banner for the peoples.
11ดูเถิด พระเยโฮวาห์ได้ทรงร้องประกาศให้ได้ยินถึงปลายแผ่นดินโลกว่า "จงกล่าวแก่ธิดาของศิโยนว่า `ดูเถิด ความรอดของเจ้ามา ดูเถิด รางวัลของพระองค์ก็อยู่กับพระองค์ และพระราชกิจของพระองค์ก็อยู่ต่อพระพักตร์ของพระองค์'"
11Behold, Yahweh has proclaimed to the end of the earth, “Say to the daughter of Zion, ‘Behold, your salvation comes. Behold, his reward is with him, and his recompense before him.’”
12และคนจะเรียกเขาทั้งหลายว่า "ประชาชนบริสุทธิ์ ผู้รับไถ่ไว้แล้วของพระเยโฮวาห์" และเขาจะเรียกเจ้าว่า "หามาได้ เมืองที่มิได้ถูกทอดทิ้ง"
12They shall call them The holy people, The redeemed of Yahweh: and you shall be called Sought out, A city not forsaken.
