1"คนเหล่านั้นที่มิได้ขอพบเรา แสวงหาเรา คนเหล่านั้นที่มิได้แสวงหาเราได้พบเรา เราว่า `เราอยู่ที่นี่ เราอยู่ที่นี่' ต่อประชาชาติที่เขาไม่ได้เรียกโดยนามของเรา
1“I am inquired of by those who didn’t ask; I am found by those who didn’t seek me: I said, See me, see me, to a nation that was not called by my name.
2เรายื่นมือของเราออกตลอดวันต่อชนชาติที่มักกบฏ ผู้ดำเนินในทางที่ไม่ดี ติดตามอุบายของตนเอง
2I have spread out my hands all the day to a rebellious people, who walk in a way that is not good, after their own thoughts;
3ชนชาติที่ยั่วเย้าเราให้กริ้วต่อหน้าอยู่เสมอ ทำการสักการบูชาตามสวน และเผาเครื่องหอมอยู่บนกองอิฐ
3a people who provoke me to my face continually, sacrificing in gardens, and burning incense on bricks;
4ผู้ยังคงอยู่ท่ามกลางอุโมงค์ฝังศพ และค้างคืนในโบราณสถาน ผู้กินเนื้อหมู และในภาชนะของเขามีแกงซึ่งทำด้วยเนื้อที่น่าสะอิดสะเอียน
4who sit among the graves, and lodge in the secret places; who eat pig’s flesh, and broth of abominable things is in their vessels;
5ผู้กล่าวว่า `ออกไปห่างๆ อย่าเข้ามาใกล้ เพราะข้าบริสุทธิ์กว่าเจ้า' เหล่านี้เป็นควันอยู่ในจมูกของเรา เป็นไฟซึ่งไหม้อยู่วันยังค่ำ
5who say, Stand by yourself, don’t come near to me, for I am holier than you. These are a smoke in my nose, a fire that burns all the day.
6ดูเถิด มีเขียนไว้ต่อหน้าเราว่า `เราจะไม่นิ่งเฉย แต่เราจะตอบสนอง เออ เราจะตอบสนองไว้ในอกของเขา
6“Behold, it is written before me: I will not keep silence, but will recompense, yes, I will recompense into their bosom,
7ทั้งความชั่วช้าของเจ้า และความชั่วช้าของบรรพบุรุษของเจ้าทั้งหลายรวมกันด้วย'" พระเยโฮวาห์ตรัสดังนี้ว่า "เขาได้เผาเครื่องหอมบนภูเขา และกล่าวหยาบช้าต่อเราบนเนิน เราจึงจะตวงกิจการเก่าเข้าไปในอกของเขา"
7your own iniquities, and the iniquities of your fathers together,” says Yahweh, “who have burned incense on the mountains, and blasphemed me on the hills; therefore will I first measure their work into their bosom.”
8พระเยโฮวาห์ตรัสดังนี้ว่า "น้ำองุ่นใหม่หาได้จากพวงองุ่นและเขากล่าวว่า `อย่าทำลายมันเสีย เพราะมีพระพรอยู่ในนั้น' ฉันใด เราก็จะกระทำด้วยเห็นแก่ผู้รับใช้ของเรา และไม่ทำลายเขาหมดทีเดียวฉันนั้น
8Thus says Yahweh, “As the new wine is found in the cluster, and one says, ‘Don’t destroy it, for a blessing is in it:’ so will I do for my servants’ sake, that I may not destroy them all.
9เราจะนำเชื้อสายออกมาจากยาโคบ และผู้รับมรดกภูเขาทั้งหลายของเราจากยูดาห์ ผู้เลือกสรรของเราจะได้รับมันเป็นมรดก และบรรดาผู้รับใช้ของเราจะอาศัยอยู่ที่นั่น
9I will bring forth a seed out of Jacob, and out of Judah an inheritor of my mountains; and my chosen shall inherit it, and my servants shall dwell there.
10ชาโรนจะเป็นลานหญ้าสำหรับฝูงแพะแกะ และหุบเขาอาโคร์จะเป็นที่ให้ฝูงวัวนอน เพื่อชนชาติของเราที่ได้แสวงเรา
10Sharon shall be a fold of flocks, and the valley of Achor a place for herds to lie down in, for my people who have sought me.
11แต่เจ้าทั้งหลายจะทอดทิ้งพระเยโฮวาห์ ผู้ลืมภูเขาบริสุทธิ์ของเรา ผู้จัดสำรับไว้ให้แก่พระโชค และจัดหาเครื่องดื่มบูชาให้แก่พระเคราะห์
11“But you who forsake Yahweh, who forget my holy mountain, who prepare a table for Fortune, and who fill up mixed wine to Destiny;
12เพราะฉะนั้นเราจะนับรวมเจ้าทั้งหลายไว้กับดาบ และเจ้าทุกคนจะต้องหมอบลงต่อการสังหาร เพราะเมื่อเราเรียก เจ้าไม่ตอบ เมื่อเราพูด เจ้าไม่ฟัง แต่ได้กระทำชั่วในสายตาของเรา และเลือกสิ่งที่เราไม่ปีติยินดีด้วย"
12I will destine you to the sword, and you shall all bow down to the slaughter; because when I called, you didn’t answer; when I spoke, you didn’t listen; but you did that which was evil in my eyes, and chose that in which I didn’t delight.”
13เพราะฉะนั้นองค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าพระเจ้าจึงตรัสดังนี้ว่า "ดูเถิด ผู้รับใช้ทั้งหลายของเราจะได้รับประทาน แต่เจ้าทั้งหลายจะหิว ดูเถิด ผู้รับใช้ของเราจะได้ดื่ม แต่เจ้าจะกระหาย ดูเถิด ผู้รับใช้ของเราจะเปรมปรีดิ์ แต่เจ้าจะได้อาย
13Therefore thus says the Lord Yahweh, “Behold, my servants shall eat, but you shall be hungry; behold, my servants shall drink, but you shall be thirsty; behold, my servants shall rejoice, but you shall be disappointed;
14ดูเถิด ผู้รับใช้ของเราจะร้องเพลงเพราะใจยินดี แต่เจ้าทั้งหลายจะร้องออกมาเพราะเสียใจ และจะครวญครางเพราะจิตระทม
14behold, my servants shall sing for joy of heart, but you shall cry for sorrow of heart, and shall wail for anguish of spirit.
15เจ้าทั้งหลายจะทิ้งชื่อของเจ้าไว้แก่ผู้เลือกสรรของเราเพื่อใช้แช่ง และองค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าพระเจ้าจะทรงสังหารเจ้า แต่จะทรงเรียกชื่อผู้รับใช้ของพระองค์ด้วยชื่ออื่น
15You shall leave your name for a curse to my chosen; and the Lord Yahweh will kill you; and he will call his servants by another name:
16ดังนั้น ผู้ใดที่ขอพรให้ตนเองในแผ่นดินโลก จะขอพรให้ตนเองในพระนามพระเจ้าแห่งสัจจะ และผู้ใดที่ปฏิญาณในแผ่นดินโลก จะปฏิญาณในนามพระเจ้าแห่งสัจจะ เพราะความลำบากเก่าแก่นั้นก็ลืมเสียแล้ว และซ่อนเสียจากตาของเรา
16so that he who blesses himself in the earth shall bless himself in the God of truth; and he who swears in the earth shall swear by the God of truth; because the former troubles are forgotten, and because they are hidden from my eyes.
17เพราะ ดูเถิด เราจะสร้างฟ้าสวรรค์ใหม่และแผ่นดินโลกใหม่ เพราะสิ่งเก่าก่อนนั้นจะไม่จำกันหรือนึกได้อีก
17“For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth; and the former things shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.
18แต่จงชื่นบานและเปรมปรีดิ์เป็นนิตย์ในสิ่งซึ่งเราสร้างขึ้น เพราะ ดูเถิด เราสร้างเยรูซาเล็มให้เป็นที่เปรมปรีดิ์ และชนชาติของเมืองนั้นให้เป็นความชื่นบาน
18But be you glad and rejoice forever in that which I create; for, behold, I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy.
19เราจะเปรมปรีดิ์ด้วยเยรูซาเล็มและชื่นบานด้วยชนชาติของเรา จะไม่ได้ยินเสียงร้องไห้ในเมืองนั้นอีก และเสียงครวญคราง
19I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in my people; and there shall be heard in her no more the voice of weeping and the voice of crying.
20ในนั้นจะไม่มีทารกที่มีชีวิตเพียงสองสามวัน หรือคนแก่ที่มีอายุไม่ครบกำหนด เพราะเด็กจะมีอายุหนึ่งร้อยปีจึงตาย และคนบาปที่มีอายุเพียงหนึ่งร้อยปีจะเป็นที่แช่ง
20“There shall be no more there an infant of days, nor an old man who has not filled his days; for the child shall die one hundred years old, and the sinner being one hundred years old shall be accursed.
21เขาจะสร้างบ้านและเข้าอาศัยอยู่ในนั้น เขาจะปลูกสวนองุ่นและกินผลของมัน
21They shall build houses, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and eat their fruit.
22เขาจะไม่สร้างและคนอื่นเข้าอาศัยอยู่ เขาจะไม่ปลูกและคนอื่นกิน เพราะอายุชนชาติของเราจะเป็นเหมือนอายุของต้นไม้ และผู้เลือกสรรของเราจะใช้ผลงานน้ำมือของเขานาน
22They shall not build, and another inhabit; they shall not plant, and another eat: for as the days of a tree shall be the days of my people, and my chosen shall long enjoy the work of their hands.
23เขาทั้งหลายจะไม่ทำงานโดยเปล่าประโยชน์ หรือคลอดบุตรเพื่อความสยดสยอง เพราะเขาเป็นเชื้อสายของผู้ที่ได้รับพรของพระเยโฮวาห์ กับลูกๆของเขาด้วย
23They shall not labor in vain, nor bring forth for calamity; for they are the seed of the blessed of Yahweh, and their offspring with them.
24และต่อมา ก่อนที่เขาร้องเรียก เราจะตอบ ขณะที่เขายังพูดอยู่ เราจะฟัง
24It shall happen that, before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.
25สุนัขป่าและลูกแกะจะหากินอยู่ด้วยกัน สิงโตจะกินฟางเหมือนวัว และผงคลีจะเป็นอาหารของงู มันทั้งหลายจะไม่ทำอันตรายหรือทำลายทั่วภูเขาบริสุทธิ์ของเรา" พระเยโฮวาห์ตรัสดังนี้
25The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall eat straw like the ox; and dust shall be the serpent’s food. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain,” says Yahweh.
