1ต่อมาในปีเดียวกันนั้นเมื่อต้นรัชกาลเศเดคียาห์ กษัตริย์แห่งยูดาห์ในเดือนที่ห้าปีที่สี่ ฮานันยาห์บุตรชายของอัสซูร์ ผู้พยากรณ์จากกิเบโอน ได้พูดกับข้าพเจ้าในพระนิเวศของพระเยโฮวาห์ ต่อหน้าบรรดาปุโรหิตและประชาชนทั้งหลายว่า
1It happened the same year, in the beginning of the reign of Zedekiah king of Judah, in the fourth year, in the fifth month, that Hananiah the son of Azzur, the prophet, who was of Gibeon, spoke to me in the house of Yahweh, in the presence of the priests and of all the people, saying,
2"พระเยโฮวาห์จอมโยธา พระเจ้าแห่งอิสราเอลตรัสดังนี้ว่า เราได้หักแอกของกษัตริย์แห่งบาบิโลนแล้ว
2Thus speaks Yahweh of Armies, the God of Israel, saying, I have broken the yoke of the king of Babylon.
3ภายในสองปี เราจะนำเครื่องใช้ทั้งสิ้นของพระนิเวศแห่งพระเยโฮวาห์กลับมายังที่นี้ ซึ่งเป็นภาชนะที่เนบูคัดเนสซาร์กษัตริย์แห่งบาบิโลนริบไปจากที่นี้และขนไปยังบาบิโลน
3Within two full years will I bring again into this place all the vessels of Yahweh’s house, that Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon took away from this place, and carried to Babylon:
4เราจะนำเยโคนิยาห์ราชบุตรของเยโฮยาคิมกษัตริย์แห่งยูดาห์และบรรดาผู้ที่ถูกกวาดจากยูดาห์ ผู้ซึ่งไปยังบาบิโลน กลับมายังที่นี้ พระเยโฮวาห์ตรัสดังนี้แหละว่า เพราะเราจะหักแอกของกษัตริย์แห่งบาบิโลน"
4and I will bring again to this place Jeconiah the son of Jehoiakim, king of Judah, with all the captives of Judah, who went to Babylon, says Yahweh; for I will break the yoke of the king of Babylon.
5แล้วเยเรมีย์ผู้พยากรณ์ก็พูดกับฮานันยาห์ผู้พยากรณ์ต่อหน้าบรรดาปุโรหิต และต่อหน้าประชาชนทั้งปวงผู้ซึ่งยืนอยู่ในพระนิเวศของพระเยโฮวาห์
5Then the prophet Jeremiah said to the prophet Hananiah in the presence of the priests, and in the presence of all the people who stood in the house of Yahweh,
6และเยเรมีย์ผู้พยากรณ์กล่าวว่า "เอเมน ขอพระเยโฮวาห์ทรงกระทำเช่นนั้นเถิด ขอพระเยโฮวาห์ทรงกระทำให้ถ้อยคำซึ่งท่านพยากรณ์นั้นเป็นจริง และนำเครื่องใช้แห่งพระนิเวศของพระเยโฮวาห์และบรรดาผู้ถูกกวาดไปทั้งสิ้นกลับมาจากบาบิโลนยังที่นี้
6even the prophet Jeremiah said, Amen: Yahweh do so; Yahweh perform your words which you have prophesied, to bring again the vessels of Yahweh’s house, and all them of the captivity, from Babylon to this place.
7ถึงกระนั้นก็ขอฟังถ้อยคำนี้ซึ่งข้าพเจ้าพูดให้ท่านได้ยินและให้ประชาชนทั้งหลายนี้ได้ยิน
7Nevertheless hear you now this word that I speak in your ears, and in the ears of all the people:
8บรรดาผู้พยากรณ์ซึ่งอยู่ก่อนท่านและข้าพเจ้าตั้งแต่โบราณกาลได้พยากรณ์ถึงสงคราม เหตุร้ายต่างๆ และโรคระบาดอันมีแก่หลายประเทศและหลายราชอาณาจักรใหญ่ๆ
8The prophets who have been before me and before you of old prophesied against many countries, and against great kingdoms, of war, and of evil, and of pestilence.
9ส่วนผู้พยากรณ์ผู้พยากรณ์ว่าจะมีสันติภาพ เมื่อเป็นจริงตามถ้อยคำของผู้พยากรณ์นั้น จึงรู้กันว่าพระเยโฮวาห์ทรงใช้ผู้พยากรณ์นั้นจริง"
9The prophet who prophesies of peace, when the word of the prophet shall happen, then shall the prophet be known, that Yahweh has truly sent him.
10แล้วฮานันยาห์ผู้พยากรณ์ก็ปลดแอกออกจากคอของเยเรมีย์ผู้พยากรณ์และหักมันเสีย
10Then Hananiah the prophet took the bar from off the prophet Jeremiah’s neck, and broke it.
11และฮานันยาห์ได้กล่าวต่อหน้าประชาชนทั้งสิ้นว่า "พระเยโฮวาห์ตรัสดังนี้ว่า อย่างนั้นแหละ เราจะหักแอกของเนบูคัดเนสซาร์กษัตริย์ของบาบิโลนจากคอของบรรดาประชาชาติทั้งสิ้นภายในสองปี" แต่เยเรมีย์ผู้พยากรณ์ก็ออกไปเสีย
11Hananiah spoke in the presence of all the people, saying, Thus says Yahweh: Even so will I break the yoke of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon within two full years from off the neck of all the nations. The prophet Jeremiah went his way.
12หลังจากที่ฮานันยาห์ผู้พยากรณ์หักแอกจากคอของเยเรมีย์ผู้พยากรณ์ พระวจนะของพระเยโฮวาห์มายังผู้พยากรณ์เยเรมีย์ว่า
12Then the word of Yahweh came to Jeremiah, after that Hananiah the prophet had broken the bar from off the neck of the prophet Jeremiah, saying,
13"จงไปบอกฮานันยาห์ว่า พระเยโฮวาห์ตรัสดังนี้ว่า เจ้าได้หักแอกไม้ แต่เจ้าจะทำแอกเหล็กไว้ให้พวกเขาแทน
13Go, and tell Hananiah, saying, Thus says Yahweh: You have broken the bars of wood; but you have made in their place bars of iron.
14เพราะพระเยโฮวาห์จอมโยธา พระเจ้าแห่งอิสราเอล ตรัสดังนี้ว่า เราได้วางแอกเหล็กไว้บนคอบรรดาประชาชาติเหล่านี้ทั้งสิ้น ให้เขาปรนนิบัติเนบูคัดเนสซาร์กษัตริย์แห่งบาบิโลนและเขาทั้งหลายจะปรนนิบัติเขา เพราะเราได้ยกให้เขาแล้วถึงแม้ว่าสัตว์ป่าทุ่งด้วย"
14For thus says Yahweh of Armies, the God of Israel: I have put a yoke of iron on the neck of all these nations, that they may serve Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon; and they shall serve him: and I have given him the animals of the field also.
15และเยเรมีย์ผู้พยากรณ์ได้พูดกับฮานันยาห์ผู้พยากรณ์ว่า "ฮานันยาห์ ขอท่านฟัง พระเยโฮวาห์มิได้ทรงใช้ท่าน แต่ท่านได้กระทำให้ชนชาตินี้วางใจในความเท็จ
15Then the prophet Jeremiah said to Hananiah the prophet, Hear now, Hananiah: Yahweh has not sent you; but you make this people to trust in a lie.
16เพราะฉะนั้น พระเยโฮวาห์ตรัสว่า ดูเถิด เราจะย้ายเจ้าไปจากพื้นโลก ในปีเดียวนี้เองเจ้าจะต้องตาย เพราะเจ้าได้สอนให้กบฏต่อพระเยโฮวาห์"
16Therefore thus says Yahweh, Behold, I will send you away from off the surface of the earth: this year you shall die, because you have spoken rebellion against Yahweh.
17ในปีเดียวกันนั้น ในเดือนที่เจ็ด ฮานันยาห์ผู้พยากรณ์ก็ตาย
17So Hananiah the prophet died the same year in the seventh month.
