¹เมื่อโยชูวาชราลงมีอายุมากแล้ว พระเยโฮวาห์ก็ตรัสกับท่านว่า "เจ้าชราลงมีอายุมากแล้ว แต่แผ่นดินที่จะต้องยึดครองนั้นยังมีอีกมาก

¹Now Joshua was old and well advanced in years. Yahweh said to him, “You are old and advanced in years, and there remains yet very much land to be possessed.

²ต่อไปนี้เป็นแผ่นดินที่ยังเหลืออยู่ คือ ท้องถิ่นฟีลิสเตียทั้งหมด และท้องถิ่นของคนเกชูร์ทั้งหมด

²“This is the land that still remains: all the regions of the Philistines, and all the Geshurites;

³ตั้งแต่ชิโหร์ซึ่งอยู่หน้าอียิปต์ เหนือขึ้นไปถึงเขตแดนเอโครน นับกันว่าเป็นของคนคานาอัน ผู้ครอบครองฟีลิสเตียมีอยู่ห้าคนด้วยกัน คือ ผู้ครอบครองเมืองกาซา เมืองอัชโดด เมืองอัชเคโลน เมืองกัท และเมืองเอโครน และเมืองของคนอิฟวาห์ด้วย

³from the Shihor, which is before Egypt, even to the border of Ekron northward, which is counted as Canaanite; the five lords of the Philistines; the Gazites, and the Ashdodites, the Ashkelonites, the Gittites, and the Ekronites; also the Avvim,

⁴ซึ่งอยู่ทิศใต้คือแผ่นดินทั้งสิ้นของคนคานาอัน และเขตเมอาราห์ ซึ่งเป็นของชาวไซดอนถึงเมืองอาเฟก ถึงเขตแดนของคนอาโมไรต์

⁴on the south; all the land of the Canaanites, and Mearah that belongs to the Sidonians, to Aphek, to the border of the Amorites;

⁵และแผ่นดินของชาวเกบาลและเลบานอนทั้งหมด ไปทางที่ดวงอาทิตย์ขึ้น จากบาอัลกาดที่อยู่เชิงภูเขาเฮอร์โมน ถึงทางเข้าเมืองฮามัท

⁵and the land of the Gebalites, and all Lebanon, toward the sunrise, from Baal Gad under Mount Hermon to the entrance of Hamath;

⁶ชาวแดนเทือกเขาทั้งหมดจากเลบานอนจนถึงมิสเรโฟทมาอิม และคนไซดอนทั้งหมด เราจะขับไล่เขาทั้งหลายออกไปให้พ้นหน้าคนอิสราเอลเอง เพียงแต่เจ้าจงจับสลากแบ่งดินแดนเหล่านั้นให้เป็นมรดกแก่อิสราเอล ดังที่เราบัญชาเจ้าไว้

⁶all the inhabitants of the hill country from Lebanon to Misrephoth Maim, even all the Sidonians; them will I drive out from before the children of Israel: only allocate it to Israel for an inheritance, as I have commanded you.

⁷บัดนี้จงแบ่งแผ่นดินนี้ออกให้เป็นมรดกแก่คนเก้าตระกูลรวมกับคนมนัสเสห์ครึ่งตระกูลด้วย"

⁷Now therefore divide this land for an inheritance to the nine tribes and the half-tribe of Manasseh.”

⁸ส่วนมนัสเสห์อีกครึ่งตระกูล คนรูเบน และคนกาดได้รับส่วนมรดกของเขา ซึ่งโมเสสได้มอบให้ทางฟากแม่น้ำจอร์แดนข้างโน้นด้านตะวันออก ส่วนที่โมเสสผู้รับใช้ของพระเยโฮวาห์มอบให้เขาคือ

⁸With him the Reubenites and the Gadites received their inheritance, which Moses gave them, beyond the Jordan eastward, even as Moses the servant of Yahweh gave them:

⁹ตั้งแต่อาโรเออร์ ซึ่งอยู่ริมลุ่มแม่น้ำอารโนน และเมืองที่อยู่กลางลุ่มแม่น้ำนี้ และที่ราบเมเดบาตลอดจนถึงดีโบน

⁹from Aroer, that is on the edge of the valley of the Arnon, and the city that is in the middle of the valley, and all the plain of Medeba to Dibon;

¹⁰และหัวเมืองทั้งสิ้นของสิโหนกษัตริย์คนอาโมไรต์ ผู้ซึ่งครอบครองอยู่ในเฮชโบน ไกลออกไปจนถึงเขตแดนคนอัมโมน

¹⁰and all the cities of Sihon king of the Amorites, who reigned in Heshbon, to the border of the children of Ammon;

¹¹กับเขตกิเลอาดและท้องถิ่นของคนเกชูร์และคนมาอาคาห์ และภูเขาเฮอร์โมนทั้งหมด และเมืองบาชานทั้งสิ้นจนถึงเมืองสาเลคาห์

¹¹and Gilead, and the border of the Geshurites and Maacathites, and all Mount Hermon, and all Bashan to Salecah;

¹²ตลอดราชอาณาจักรของโอกในบาชาน ผู้ครอบครองอยู่ในอัชทาโรทและในเอเดรอี ท่านเป็นพวกมนุษย์ยักษ์ที่เหลืออยู่ เมืองเหล่านี้โมเสสรบชนะ และได้ขับไล่ให้ออกไป

¹²all the kingdom of Og in Bashan, who reigned in Ashtaroth and in Edrei (the same was left of the remnant of the Rephaim); for Moses attacked these, and drove them out.

¹³แต่คนอิสราเอลยังหาได้ขับไล่คนเกชูร์หรือคนมาอาคาห์ให้ออกไปไม่ แต่คนเกชูร์กับคนมาอาคาห์ยังอาศัยอยู่ในหมู่คนอิสราเอลจนทุกวันนี้

¹³Nevertheless the children of Israel didn’t drive out the Geshurites, nor the Maacathites: but Geshur and Maacath dwell in the midst of Israel to this day.

¹⁴เฉพาะตระกูลเลวีตระกูลเดียวโมเสสหาได้มอบมรดกให้ไม่ ของบูชาด้วยไฟที่ถวายแด่พระเยโฮวาห์พระเจ้าของอิสราเอลเป็นมรดกของเขา ดังที่พระองค์ตรัสไว้แก่เขาแล้ว

¹⁴Only he gave no inheritance to the tribe of Levi. The offerings of Yahweh, the God of Israel, made by fire are his inheritance, as he spoke to him.

¹⁵และโมเสสได้มอบส่วนมรดกให้แก่ตระกูลคนรูเบนตามครอบครัวของเขา

¹⁵Moses gave to the tribe of the children of Reuben according to their families.

¹⁶Their border was from Aroer, that is on the edge of the valley of the Arnon, and the city that is in the middle of the valley, and all the plain by Medeba;

¹⁷Heshbon, and all its cities that are in the plain; Dibon, Bamoth Baal, Beth Baal Meon,

¹⁸กับยาฮาส และเคเดโมท และเมฟาอาท

¹⁸Jahaz, Kedemoth, Mephaath,

¹⁹Kiriathaim, Sibmah, Zereth Shahar in the mount of the valley,

²¹all the cities of the plain, and all the kingdom of Sihon king of the Amorites, who reigned in Heshbon, whom Moses struck with the chiefs of Midian, Evi, Rekem, Zur, Hur, and Reba, the princes of Sihon, who lived in the land.

²²อนึ่งคนอิสราเอลได้ฆ่าบาลาอัมบุตรชายเบโอร์ผู้เป็นคนทำนายเสียด้วยดาบพร้อมกับคนอื่นที่เขาได้ฆ่านั้น

²²The children of Israel alse killed Balaam also the son of Beor, the soothsayer, with the sword, among the rest of their slain.

²³อาณาเขตของคนรูเบนคือแม่น้ำจอร์แดนเป็นพรมแดน นี่เป็นมรดกของคนรูเบนตามครอบครัว รวมทั้งหัวเมืองและชนบทด้วย

²³The border of the children of Reuben was the bank of the Jordan. This was the inheritance of the children of Reuben according to their families, the cities and its villages.

²⁴โมเสสได้มอบมรดกให้แก่ตระกูลกาด คือคนกาดตามครอบครัวของเขาด้วย

²⁴Moses gave to the tribe of Gad, to the children of Gad, according to their families.

²⁵อาณาเขตของเขาคือยาเซอร์และหัวเมืองกิเลอาดทั้งหมด และครึ่งหนึ่งของแผ่นดินคนอัมโมนถึงอาโรเออร์ซึ่งอยู่หน้าเมืองรับบาห์

²⁵Their border was Jazer, and all the cities of Gilead, and half the land of the children of Ammon, to Aroer that is before Rabbah;

²⁶and from Heshbon to Ramath Mizpeh, and Betonim; and from Mahanaim to the border of Debir;

²⁷ในหว่างเขา มีเมืองเบธฮารัม เบธนิมราห์ สุคคทและซาโฟน ราชอาณาจักรส่วนที่เหลือของสิโหนกษัตริย์เมืองเฮชโบนนั้น มีแม่น้ำจอร์แดนเป็นพรมแดน จดทะเลคินเนเรทตอนปลายข้างล่าง ด้านตะวันออกของแม่น้ำจอร์แดนข้างโน้น

²⁷and in the valley, Beth Haram, Beth Nimrah, Succoth, and Zaphon, the rest of the kingdom of Sihon king of Heshbon, the Jordan’s bank, to the uttermost part of the sea of Chinnereth beyond the Jordan eastward.

²⁸นี่เป็นมรดกของคนกาดตามครอบครัวของเขา รวมทั้งหัวเมืองและชนบทด้วย

²⁸This is the inheritance of the children of Gad according to their families, the cities and its villages.

²⁹อนึ่งโมเสสได้มอบมรดกให้แก่คนมนัสเสห์ครึ่งตระกูล เป็นส่วนแบ่งที่ได้กับคนมนัสเสห์ครึ่งตระกูลตามครอบครัวของเขา

²⁹Moses gave an inheritance to the half-tribe of Manasseh. It was for the half-tribe of the children of Manasseh according to their families.

³⁰อาณาเขตของเขาทั้งหลายเริ่มตั้งแต่มาหะนาอิมตลอดบาชานทั้งสิ้น คือราชอาณาจักรทั้งสิ้นของโอกกษัตริย์เมืองบาชาน และหัวเมืองทั้งหมดของยาอีร์ มีหกสิบหัวเมืองด้วยกันอยู่ในบาชาน

³⁰Their border was from Mahanaim, all Bashan, all the kingdom of Og king of Bashan, and all the towns of Jair, which are in Bashan, sixty cities.

³¹และกิเลอาดครึ่งหนึ่ง และเมืองอัชทาโรทกับเมืองเอเดรอี หัวเมืองของราชอาณาจักรโอกในบาชาน หัวเมืองเหล่านี้เป็นส่วนแบ่งของคนมาคีร์บุตรชายมนัสเสห์ เป็นของครึ่งหนึ่งของคนมาคีร์ ตามครอบครัวของเขา

³¹Half Gilead, Ashtaroth, and Edrei, the cities of the kingdom of Og in Bashan, were for the children of Machir the son of Manasseh, even for the half of the children of Machir according to their families.

³²เหล่านี้เป็นดินแดนต่างๆซึ่งโมเสสได้แบ่งปันให้เป็นมรดก ณ ที่ราบโมอับ ฟากแม่น้ำจอร์แดนข้างโน้นทิศตะวันออกของเมืองเยรีโค

³²These are the inheritances which Moses distributed in the plains of Moab, beyond the Jordan at Jericho, eastward.

³³แต่โมเสสมิได้มอบมรดกให้แก่คนตระกูลเลวี พระเยโฮวาห์พระเจ้าของอิสราเอลเป็นมรดกของเขา ดังที่พระองค์ตรัสไว้กับเขา

³³But to the tribe of Levi Moses gave no inheritance. Yahweh, the God of Israel, is their inheritance, as he spoke to them.
