¹พระเยโฮวาห์ทรงเรียกโมเสสตรัสกับท่านจากพลับพลาแห่งชุมนุมว่า

¹ Yahweh “Yahweh” is God’s proper Name, sometimes rendered “LORD” (all caps) in other translations. called to Moses, and spoke to him out of the Tent of Meeting, saying,

²"จงพูดกับคนอิสราเอลและกล่าวแก่เขาว่า เมื่อคนใดในพวกท่านนำเครื่องบูชามาถวายพระเยโฮวาห์ ให้นำสัตว์เลี้ยงอันเป็นเครื่องบูชาของท่านมาจากฝูงวัวหรือฝูงแพะแกะ

²“Speak to the children of Israel, and tell them, ‘When anyone of you offers an offering to Yahweh, you shall offer your offering of the livestock, from the herd and from the flock.

³ถ้าเครื่องบูชาของเขาเป็นเครื่องเผาบูชามาจากฝูงวัว ก็ให้เขานำสัตว์ตัวผู้ที่ไม่มีตำหนิ ให้เขานำเครื่องบูชานั้นมาที่ประตูพลับพลาแห่งชุมนุมด้วยความเต็มใจต่อพระพักตร์พระเยโฮวาห์

³“‘If his offering is a burnt offering from the herd, he shall offer a male without blemish. He shall offer it at the door of the Tent of Meeting, that he may be accepted before Yahweh.

⁴ให้เขาเอามือวางบนหัวสัตว์ซึ่งเป็นเครื่องเผาบูชานั้น และเครื่องเผาบูชานั้นจะเป็นที่ทรงโปรดปรานเพื่อทำการลบมลทินของผู้นั้น

⁴He shall lay his hand on the head of the burnt offering, and it shall be accepted for him to make atonement for him.

⁵แล้วให้เขาฆ่าวัวตัวผู้นั้นต่อพระพักตร์พระเยโฮวาห์ แล้วพวกปุโรหิต คือบุตรชายของอาโรน จะถวายเลือด และเอาเลือดมาประพรมที่แท่นและรอบแท่นบูชา ซึ่งอยู่ตรงประตูพลับพลาแห่งชุมนุม

⁵He shall kill the bull before Yahweh. Aaron’s sons, the priests, shall present the blood and sprinkle the blood around on the altar that is at the door of the Tent of Meeting.

⁶และให้เขาถลกหนังเครื่องเผาบูชานั้นออกเสีย แล้วตัดเป็นท่อนๆ

⁶He shall flay the burnt offering, and cut it into pieces.

⁷และบุตรชายของอาโรนผู้เป็นปุโรหิตจะก่อไฟที่แท่น และเรียงฟืนบนไฟ

⁷The sons of Aaron the priest shall put fire on the altar, and lay wood in order on the fire;

⁸และพวกปุโรหิต คือบุตรชายของอาโรน จะวางท่อนเนื้อ หัว และไขมันสัตว์ตามลำดับไว้บนฟืนบนไฟที่แท่นบูชา

⁸and Aaron’s sons, the priests, shall lay the pieces, the head, and the fat in order on the wood that is on the fire which is on the altar;

⁹แต่ให้เขาเอาน้ำล้างเครื่องในและขาสัตว์เสีย แล้วปุโรหิตจึงเผาของทั้งหมดบนแท่นเป็นเครื่องเผาบูชา เป็นเครื่องบูชาด้วยไฟ เป็นกลิ่นที่พอพระทัยแด่พระเยโฮวาห์

⁹but its innards and its legs he shall wash with water. The priest shall burn the whole on the altar, for a burnt offering, an offering made by fire, of a pleasant aroma to Yahweh.

¹⁰ถ้าของถวายที่ผู้ใดจะใช้เป็นเครื่องเผาบูชามาจากฝูงแกะหรือฝูงแพะ ให้ผู้นั้นเลือกเอาสัตว์ตัวผู้ที่ไม่มีตำหนิ

¹⁰“‘If his offering is from the flock, from the sheep, or from the goats, for a burnt offering, he shall offer a male without blemish.

¹¹ให้เขาฆ่าสัตว์นั้นเสียที่แท่นบูชาข้างด้านเหนือต่อพระพักตร์พระเยโฮวาห์ และพวกปุโรหิต คือบุตรชายของอาโรน จะเอาเลือดสัตว์นั้นประพรมที่แท่นและรอบแท่นบูชา

¹¹He shall kill it on the north side of the altar before Yahweh. Aaron’s sons, the priests, shall sprinkle its blood around on the altar.

¹²ให้เขาฟันสัตว์นั้นเป็นท่อนๆทั้งหัวและไขมันด้วย และปุโรหิตจะวางเครื่องเหล่านี้ตามลำดับไว้บนฟืนบนไฟที่แท่นบูชา

¹²He shall cut it into its pieces, with its head and its fat. The priest shall lay them in order on the wood that is on the fire which is on the altar,

¹³แต่เครื่องในกับขานั้นผู้ถวายบูชาจะล้างเสียด้วยน้ำ และให้ปุโรหิตเอาเครื่องทั้งหมดเหล่านี้เผาบูชาด้วยกันบนแท่น เป็นเครื่องเผาบูชา คือเป็นเครื่องบูชาด้วยไฟ เป็นกลิ่นที่พอพระทัยแด่พระเยโฮวาห์

¹³but the innards and the legs he shall wash with water. The priest shall offer the whole, and burn it on the altar. It is a burnt offering, an offering made by fire, of a pleasant aroma to Yahweh.

¹⁴ถ้าผู้ใดจะนำนกมาถวายเป็นเครื่องเผาบูชาแด่พระเยโฮวาห์ ก็ให้ผู้นั้นนำของบูชาที่เป็นนกเขาหรือนกพิราบหนุ่มมาถวาย

¹⁴“‘If his offering to Yahweh is a burnt offering of birds, then he shall offer his offering of turtledoves, or of young pigeons.

¹⁵จงให้ปุโรหิตนำนกนั้นมาที่แท่น บิดหัวเสียแล้วเผาบูชาบนแท่น ให้เลือดไหลออกมาข้างๆแท่น

¹⁵The priest shall bring it to the altar, and wring off its head, and burn it on the altar; and its blood shall be drained out on the side of the altar;

¹⁶และให้ฉีกกระเพาะข้าวและถอนขนนกออกเสีย ทิ้งลงริมแท่นด้านตะวันออกในที่ที่ทิ้งมูลเถ้า

¹⁶and he shall take away its crop with its filth, and cast it beside the altar on the east part, in the place of the ashes.

¹⁷และให้เขาฉีกปีกอย่าให้ขาดจากตัว และปุโรหิตจะเผานกนั้นบนแท่นที่กองฟืนบนไฟ เป็นเครื่องเผาบูชา คือเป็นเครื่องบูชาด้วยไฟ เป็นกลิ่นที่พอพระทัยแด่พระเยโฮวาห์"

¹⁷He shall tear it by its wings, but shall not divide it apart. The priest shall burn it on the altar, on the wood that is on the fire. It is a burnt offering, an offering made by fire, of a pleasant aroma to Yahweh.
