¹พระเยโฮวาห์ตรัสกับโมเสสว่า

¹Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,

²"ต่อไปนี้จะเป็นพระราชบัญญัติเรื่องคนเป็นโรคเรื้อนในวันชำระตัวของเขา ให้พาเขามาหาปุโรหิต

²“This shall be the law of the leper in the day of his cleansing. He shall be brought to the priest,

³และให้ปุโรหิตออกไปนอกค่าย และให้ปุโรหิตทำการตรวจ ดูเถิด ถ้าผู้ป่วยหายจากโรคเรื้อนแล้ว

³and the priest shall go forth out of the camp. The priest shall examine him, and behold, if the plague of leprosy is healed in the leper,

⁴ก็ให้ปุโรหิตบัญชาเขาให้จัดของสำหรับผู้จะรับการชำระ คือนกสะอาดที่มีชีวิตสองตัว ไม้สนสีดาร์ กับด้ายสีแดง และต้นหุสบ

⁴then the priest shall command them to take for him who is to be cleansed two living clean birds, and cedar wood, and scarlet, and hyssop.

⁵ให้ปุโรหิตบัญชาให้ฆ่านกตัวหนึ่งในภาชนะดินข้างบนน้ำไหล

⁵The priest shall command them to kill one of the birds in an earthen vessel over running water.

⁶สำหรับนกตัวที่ยังเป็นอยู่นั้น ให้ปุโรหิตเอานกตัวที่ยังเป็นอยู่กับไม้สนสีดาร์ ด้ายสีแดง ต้นหุสบ จุ่มเข้าไปในเลือดของนกที่ถูกฆ่าข้างบนน้ำไหล

⁶As for the living bird, he shall take it, and the cedar wood, and the scarlet, and the hyssop, and shall dip them and the living bird in the blood of the bird that was killed over the running water.

⁷และให้ปุโรหิตประพรมคนที่จะรับการชำระจากโรคเรื้อนนั้นเจ็ดครั้ง แล้วประกาศว่า เขาสะอาด และให้ปล่อยนกตัวที่ยังมีชีวิตนั้นไปในท้องทุ่ง

⁷He shall sprinkle on him who is to be cleansed from the leprosy seven times, and shall pronounce him clean, and shall let the living bird go into the open field.

⁸และให้ผู้ที่รับการชำระนั้นซักเสื้อผ้าของตน และให้โกนผมกับขนทั้งหมดเสีย และอาบน้ำ เขาก็จะสะอาด ต่อจากนั้นก็ให้เขาเข้าค่ายได้ แต่ให้นอนอยู่นอกเต็นท์ของเขาเจ็ดวัน

⁸“He who is to be cleansed shall wash his clothes, and shave off all his hair, and bathe himself in water; and he shall be clean. After that he shall come into the camp, but shall dwell outside his tent seven days.

⁹พอวันที่เจ็ดให้เขาโกนผมจากศีรษะของเขาให้หมด ให้เขาโกนเคราและโกนขนคิ้ว คือโกนให้หมด แล้วให้ซักเสื้อผ้า และอาบน้ำ เขาก็จะสะอาด

⁹It shall be on the seventh day, that he shall shave all his hair off his head and his beard and his eyebrows, even all his hair he shall shave off. He shall wash his clothes, and he shall bathe his body in water, then he shall be clean.

¹⁰ในวันที่แปดให้เขาเอาลูกแกะผู้สองตัวปราศจากตำหนิ และลูกแกะเมียอายุหนึ่งขวบตัวหนึ่งปราศจากตำหนิ และยอดแป้งคลุกน้ำมันสามในสิบเอฟาห์เป็นธัญญบูชา กับน้ำมันลกหนึ่ง

¹⁰“On the eighth day he shall take two male lambs without blemish, and one ewe lamb a year old without blemish, and three tenths of an ephah 1 ephah is about 22 litres or about 2/3 of a bushel of fine flour for a meal offering, mingled with oil, and one log of oil.

¹¹ให้ปุโรหิตผู้ทำการชำระ นำผู้ที่รับการชำระกับสิ่งของเหล่านี้มาต่อพระพักตร์พระเยโฮวาห์ที่ประตูพลับพลาแห่งชุมนุม

¹¹The priest who cleanses him shall set the man who is to be cleansed, and those things, before Yahweh, at the door of the Tent of Meeting.

¹²ให้ปุโรหิตนำลูกแกะผู้นั้นตัวหนึ่งไปถวายเป็นเครื่องบูชาไถ่การละเมิดพร้อมกับน้ำมันลกหนึ่ง ให้แกว่งไปแกว่งมาเป็นเครื่องบูชาแกว่งถวายต่อพระพักตร์พระเยโฮวาห์

¹²“The priest shall take one of the male lambs, and offer him for a trespass offering, with the log of oil, and wave them for a wave offering before Yahweh.

¹³ให้ปุโรหิตฆ่าลูกแกะนั้นในที่ที่เขาฆ่าสัตว์อันเป็นเครื่องบูชาไถ่บาปและสัตว์อันเป็นเครื่องเผาบูชาในที่บริสุทธิ์ เพราะว่าเครื่องบูชาไถ่การละเมิดก็เหมือนเครื่องบูชาไถ่บาป เป็นของที่ตกแก่ปุโรหิต เป็นของบริสุทธิ์ที่สุด

¹³He shall kill the male lamb in the place where they kill the sin offering and the burnt offering, in the place of the sanctuary; for as the sin offering is the priest’s, so is the trespass offering. It is most holy.

¹⁴ปุโรหิตจะนำเลือดของเครื่องบูชาไถ่การละเมิดมาบ้าง และปุโรหิตจะเจิมที่ปลายหูข้างขวาของผู้ที่รับการชำระ และเจิมที่นิ้วหัวแม่มือขวาและที่นิ้วหัวแม่เท้าขวาของเขา

¹⁴The priest shall take some of the blood of the trespass offering, and the priest shall put it on the tip of the right ear of him who is to be cleansed, and on the thumb of his right hand, and on the big toe of his right foot.

¹⁵และปุโรหิตจะนำน้ำมันหนึ่งลกนั้นมาบ้าง เทใส่ฝ่ามือซ้ายของตน

¹⁵The priest shall take some of the log of oil, and pour it into the palm of his own left hand.

¹⁶และเอานิ้วมือขวาจิ้มน้ำมันซึ่งอยู่ในมือซ้าย ประพรมน้ำมันด้วยนิ้วของเขาเจ็ดครั้งต่อพระพักตร์พระเยโฮวาห์

¹⁶The priest shall dip his right finger in the oil that is in his left hand, and shall sprinkle some of the oil with his finger seven times before Yahweh.

¹⁷ส่วนน้ำมันที่เหลืออยู่ในมือนั้น ปุโรหิตจะเอามาบ้าง เจิมที่ปลายหูขวาของผู้ที่รับการชำระ และที่นิ้วหัวแม่มือขวาและที่นิ้วหัวแม่เท้าขวา ทับบนเลือดเครื่องบูชาไถ่การละเมิด

¹⁷The priest shall put some of the rest of the oil that is in his hand on the tip of the right ear of him who is to be cleansed, and on the thumb of his right hand, and on the big toe of his right foot, upon the blood of the trespass offering.

¹⁸ส่วนน้ำมันที่ยังเหลืออยู่ในมือของปุโรหิตนั้น เขาจะเจิมศีรษะของผู้รับการชำระ แล้วปุโรหิตจะทำการลบมลทินของเขาต่อพระพักตร์พระเยโฮวาห์

¹⁸The rest of the oil that is in the priest’s hand he shall put on the head of him who is to be cleansed, and the priest shall make atonement for him before Yahweh.

¹⁹ปุโรหิตจะถวายเครื่องบูชาไถ่บาป เพื่อทำการลบมลทินของผู้รับการชำระให้พ้นจากมลทินของเขา ภายหลังปุโรหิตจะฆ่าสัตว์อันเป็นเครื่องเผาบูชา

¹⁹“The priest shall offer the sin offering, and make atonement for him who is to be cleansed because of his uncleanness: and afterward he shall kill the burnt offering;

²⁰และปุโรหิตจะถวายเครื่องเผาบูชาและธัญญบูชาบนแท่น ปุโรหิตจะทำการลบมลทินของเขาดังนี้ และเขาก็จะสะอาดได้

²⁰and the priest shall offer the burnt offering and the meal offering on the altar. The priest shall make atonement for him, and he shall be clean.

²¹ถ้าผู้นั้นเป็นคนยากจนและไม่สามารถจะหามาได้เท่านั้น ก็ให้เขานำลูกแกะตัวหนึ่งเป็นเครื่องบูชาไถ่การละเมิดเพื่อแกว่งไปแกว่งมา กระทำการลบมลทินของเขา และนำยอดแป้งหนึ่งในสิบเอฟาห์คลุกกับน้ำมัน เป็นธัญญบูชากับน้ำมันลกหนึ่ง

²¹“If he is poor, and can’t afford so much, then he shall take one male lamb for a trespass offering to be waved, to make atonement for him, and one tenth of an ephah of fine flour mingled with oil for a meal offering, and a log of oil;

²²พร้อมกับนกเขาสองตัว หรือนกพิราบหนุ่มสองตัว ตามที่เขาสามารถหามาได้ นกตัวหนึ่งเป็นเครื่องบูชาไถ่บาป นกอีกตัวหนึ่งเป็นเครื่องเผาบูชา

²²and two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, such as he is able to afford; and the one shall be a sin offering, and the other a burnt offering.

²³ในวันที่แปดให้เขานำมามอบให้แก่ปุโรหิตเพื่อการชำระของตนที่ประตูพลับพลาแห่งชุมนุมถวายต่อพระพักตร์พระเยโฮวาห์

²³“On the eighth day he shall bring them for his cleansing to the priest, to the door of the Tent of Meeting, before Yahweh.

²⁴และปุโรหิตจะนำลูกแกะที่เป็นเครื่องบูชาไถ่การละเมิดและน้ำมันลกหนึ่งนั้น และปุโรหิตจะแกว่งไปแกว่งมาเป็นเครื่องบูชาแกว่งถวายต่อพระพักตร์พระเยโฮวาห์

²⁴The priest shall take the lamb of the trespass offering, and the log of oil, and the priest shall wave them for a wave offering before Yahweh.

²⁵และเขาจะฆ่าลูกแกะเครื่องบูชาไถ่การละเมิด และปุโรหิตจะเอาเลือดของเครื่องบูชาไถ่การละเมิดมาบ้าง เจิมที่ปลายหูข้างขวาของผู้รับการชำระ และที่นิ้วหัวแม่มือขวา กับที่นิ้วหัวแม่เท้าขวาของเขา

²⁵He shall kill the lamb of the trespass offering. The priest shall take some of the blood of the trespass offering and put it on the tip of the right ear of him who is to be cleansed, and on the thumb of his right hand, and on the big toe of his right foot.

²⁶แล้วปุโรหิตจะเทน้ำมันใส่ฝ่ามือซ้ายของตนบ้าง

²⁶The priest shall pour some of the oil into the palm of his own left hand;

²⁷และเอาน้ำมันที่อยู่ในมือซ้ายนั้นประพรมด้วยนิ้วมือขวาเจ็ดครั้งต่อพระพักตร์พระเยโฮวาห์

²⁷and the priest shall sprinkle with his right finger some of the oil that is in his left hand seven times before Yahweh.

²⁸และปุโรหิตจะเอาน้ำมันที่อยู่ในมือเจิมที่ปลายหูข้างขวาของผู้รับการชำระ และที่หัวแม่มือขวากับหัวแม่เท้าขวาของเขา ตรงที่ที่เจิมด้วยเลือดของเครื่องบูชาไถ่การละเมิด

²⁸Then the priest shall put some of the oil that is in his hand on the tip of the right ear of him who is to be cleansed, and on the thumb of his right hand, and on the big toe of his right foot, on the place of the blood of the trespass offering.

²⁹น้ำมันที่เหลืออยู่ในมือของปุโรหิตนั้น เขาจะเจิมศีรษะของผู้ที่รับการชำระ ทำการลบมลทินของเขาต่อพระพักตร์พระเยโฮวาห์

²⁹The rest of the oil that is in the priest’s hand he shall put on the head of him who is to be cleansed, to make atonement for him before Yahweh.

³⁰และเขาจะถวายนกเขาหรือนกพิราบหนุ่มตัวหนึ่งตามที่เขาสามารถหามาได้

³⁰He shall offer one of the turtledoves, or of the young pigeons, such as he is able to afford,

³¹คือตามที่เขาสามารถหามาได้ให้ถวายนกตัวหนึ่งเป็นเครื่องบูชาไถ่บาป นกอีกตัวหนึ่งเป็นเครื่องเผาบูชา พร้อมกับธัญญบูชา และปุโรหิตจะทำการลบมลทินของผู้รับการชำระต่อพระพักตร์พระเยโฮวาห์

³¹even such as he is able to afford, the one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering, with the meal offering. The priest shall make atonement for him who is to be cleansed before Yahweh.”

³²นี่เป็นพระราชบัญญัติสำหรับผู้ที่เป็นโรคเรื้อนไม่สามารถหาเครื่องบูชาเพื่อการชำระของตนได้"

³²This is the law for him in whom is the plague of leprosy, who is not able to afford the sacrifice for his cleansing.

³³พระเยโฮวาห์ตรัสกับโมเสสและอาโรนว่า

³³Yahweh spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying,

³⁴"เมื่อเจ้าเข้าไปในแผ่นดินคานาอัน ซึ่งเราให้แก่เจ้าเป็นกรรมสิทธิ์นั้น และเราจะใส่โรคเรื้อนเข้าที่เรือนหลังหนึ่งหลังใดในแผ่นดินที่เจ้าถือกรรมสิทธิ์นั้น

³⁴“When you have come into the land of Canaan, which I give to you for a possession, and I put a spreading mildew in a house in the land of your possession,

³⁵ผู้ใดที่ถือกรรมสิทธิ์ของเรือนนั้นจะต้องมาบอกแก่ปุโรหิตว่า `ข้าพเจ้าเห็นโรคอะไรอย่างหนึ่งเกิดในเรือนของข้าพเจ้า'

³⁵then he who owns the house shall come and tell the priest, saying, ‘There seems to me to be some sort of plague in the house.’

³⁶แล้วปุโรหิตจะบัญชาให้เขาขนของออกจากเรือนให้หมด ก่อนที่ปุโรหิตจะเข้าไปตรวจโรค เกรงว่าของทุกอย่างที่อยู่ในเรือนนั้นจะถูกประกาศว่า มลทิน ต่อจากนั้นปุโรหิตจึงจะเข้าไปตรวจดูเรือน

³⁶The priest shall command that they empty the house, before the priest goes in to examine the plague, that all that is in the house not be made unclean: and afterward the priest shall go in to inspect the house.

³⁷และปุโรหิตจะตรวจดูโรค ดูเถิด ถ้าโรคนั้นอยู่ที่ผนังของเรือนเป็นรอยสีเขียวๆแดงๆและปรากฏว่าอยู่ลึกกว่าผิว

³⁷He shall examine the plague; and behold, if the plague is in the walls of the house with hollow streaks, greenish or reddish, and it appears to be deeper than the wall;

³⁸แล้วปุโรหิตจะออกจากเรือนไปอยู่ที่ประตูเรือนแล้วปิดเรือนเสียเจ็ดวัน

³⁸then the priest shall go out of the house to the door of the house, and shut up the house seven days.

³⁹พอถึงวันที่เจ็ดปุโรหิตจะกลับมาตรวจดูอีก ดูเถิด ถ้าโรคนั้นลามไปในผนังเรือน

³⁹The priest shall come again on the seventh day, and look. If the plague has spread in the walls of the house,

⁴⁰แล้วปุโรหิตจะบัญชาให้เอาหินก้อนที่ติดโรคนั้นออกเสียนำไปโยนทิ้งในที่มลทินภายนอกเมือง

⁴⁰then the priest shall command that they take out the stones in which is the plague, and cast them into an unclean place outside of the city:

⁴¹และสั่งให้ขูดข้างในเรือนทั่วๆไป ผงปูนที่ขูดออกมานั้นให้นำไปทิ้งเสียในที่มลทินภายนอกเมือง

⁴¹and he shall cause the inside of the house to be scraped all over, and they shall pour out the mortar, that they scraped off, outside of the city into an unclean place.

⁴²แล้วให้หาหินอื่นมาแทนหินก้อนที่นำออกไป และเอาปูนอื่นมาโบกผนังเรือนนั้น

⁴²They shall take other stones, and put them in the place of those stones; and he shall take other mortar, and shall plaster the house.

⁴³เมื่อเขาเอาหินออก ขูดเรือนและโบกปูนใหม่แล้ว ยังเกิดโรคขึ้นในเรือนนั้นอีก

⁴³“If the plague comes again, and breaks out in the house, after he has taken out the stones, and after he has scraped the house, and after it was plastered;

⁴⁴แล้วปุโรหิตจะไปตรวจดู ดูเถิด ถ้าโรคนั้นลามไปในเรือน เป็นโรคเรื้อนอย่างร้ายในเรือน เรือนนั้นก็เป็นมลทิน

⁴⁴then the priest shall come in and look; and behold, if the plague has spread in the house, it is a destructive mildew in the house. It is unclean.

⁴⁵ให้เขาพังเรือนนั้นลง หิน ไม้และปูนที่ทำเรือนนั้นให้ขนไปทิ้งเสียในที่ที่มลทินภายนอกเมือง

⁴⁵He shall break down the house, its stones, and its timber, and all the house’s mortar. He shall carry them out of the city into an unclean place.

⁴⁶ยิ่งกว่านั้นอีกเมื่อเรือนปิดอยู่ มีผู้ใดเข้าไป ผู้นั้นจะเป็นมลทินจนถึงเวลาเย็น

⁴⁶“Moreover he who goes into the house while it is shut up shall be unclean until the evening.

⁴⁷ผู้ใดที่นอนลงในเรือนนั้นต้องซักเสื้อผ้าของเขา และผู้ที่รับประทานในเรือนนั้นต้องซักเสื้อผ้าของเขาด้วย

⁴⁷He who lies down in the house shall wash his clothes; and he who eats in the house shall wash his clothes.

⁴⁸แต่ปุโรหิตมาทำการตรวจ ดูเถิด เมื่อโบกปูนใหม่แล้ว โรคนั้นมิได้ลามไปในเรือนแล้ว ปุโรหิตจะประกาศว่าเรือนนั้นสะอาด เพราะโรคหายแล้ว

⁴⁸“If the priest shall come in, and examine it, and behold, the plague hasn’t spread in the house, after the house was plastered, then the priest shall pronounce the house clean, because the plague is healed.

⁴⁹และเพื่อจะชำระเรือนนั้นให้เขานำนกสองตัวกับไม้สนสีดาร์ ด้ายสีแดง และต้นหุสบ

⁴⁹To cleanse the house he shall take two birds, and cedar wood, and scarlet, and hyssop.

⁵⁰ให้ฆ่านกตัวหนึ่งในภาชนะดินข้างบนน้ำที่ไหล

⁵⁰He shall kill one of the birds in an earthen vessel over running water.

⁵¹เอาไม้สนสีดาร์ ต้นหุสบและด้ายสีแดง พร้อมกับนกตัวที่ยังมีชีวิตอยู่จุ่มลงในเลือดนกที่ได้ฆ่าและในน้ำที่ไหลนั้น แล้วประพรมเรือนนั้นเจ็ดครั้ง

⁵¹He shall take the cedar wood, and the hyssop, and the scarlet, and the living bird, and dip them in the blood of the slain bird, and in the running water, and sprinkle the house seven times.

⁵²ดังนี้เขาจะได้ชำระเรือนด้วยเลือดนก ด้วยน้ำไหลและด้วยนกที่มีชีวิต ด้วยไม้สนสีดาร์ ต้นหุสบ และด้ายสีแดง

⁵²He shall cleanse the house with the blood of the bird, and with the running water, with the living bird, with the cedar wood, with the hyssop, and with the scarlet;

⁵³ให้เขาปล่อยนกที่มีชีวิตออกไปจากเมืองยังท้องทุ่ง ดังนี้แหละเขาจะได้ทำการลบมลทินของเรือน และเรือนนั้นก็สะอาด"

⁵³but he shall let the living bird go out of the city into the open field. So shall he make atonement for the house; and it shall be clean.”

⁵⁴นี่เป็นพระราชบัญญัติเกี่ยวกับโรคเรื้อนต่างๆ โรคคัน

⁵⁴This is the law for any plague of leprosy, and for an itch,

⁵⁵โรคเรื้อนในเครื่องแต่งกายหรือในเรือน

⁵⁵and for the destructive mildew of a garment, and for a house,

⁵⁶ที่บวมหรือพุ หรือที่ด่าง

⁵⁶and for a rising, and for a scab, and for a bright spot;

⁵⁷เพื่อจะแสดงว่าเมื่อไรจึงเรียกว่ามลทิน เมื่อไรเรียกว่าสะอาด นี่เป็นพระราชบัญญัติเรื่องโรคเรื้อน

⁵⁷to teach when it is unclean, and when it is clean. This is the law of leprosy.
