¹"ถ้าผู้ใดกระทำความผิดในข้อที่ได้ยินเสียงแห่งการปฏิญาณตัวและเป็นพยาน และแม้ว่าเขาเป็นพยานโดยที่เขาเห็นหรือรู้เรื่องก็ตาม แต่เขาไม่ยอมให้การเป็นพยาน เขาต้องรับโทษความชั่วช้าของเขา

¹“‘If anyone sins, in that he hears the voice of adjuration, he being a witness, whether he has seen or known, if he doesn’t report it, then he shall bear his iniquity.

²หรือผู้หนึ่งผู้ใดแตะต้องสิ่งที่เป็นมลทิน จะเป็นซากสัตว์ป่าที่มลทิน หรือซากสัตว์เลี้ยงที่มลทิน หรือซากสัตว์เลื้อยคลานที่เป็นมลทิน โดยไม่ทันรู้ตัว เขาจึงเป็นคนมีมลทิน เขาก็มีความผิด

²“‘Or if anyone touches any unclean thing, whether it is the carcass of an unclean animal, or the carcass of unclean livestock, or the carcass of unclean creeping things, and it is hidden from him, and he is unclean, then he shall be guilty.

³หรือถ้าเขาแตะต้องมลทินของคน จะเป็นสิ่งใดๆซึ่งเป็นมลทิน อันเป็นสิ่งที่กระทำให้คนนั้นเป็นมลทิน โดยเขาไม่รู้ตัว เมื่อเขารู้แล้ว เขาก็มีความผิด

³“‘Or if he touches the uncleanness of man, whatever his uncleanness is with which he is unclean, and it is hidden from him; when he knows of it, then he shall be guilty.

⁴หรือถ้าคนหนึ่งคนใดเผลอตัวกล่าวคำปฏิญาณด้วยริมฝีปากว่าจะกระทำชั่วหรือดี หรือเผลอตัวกล่าวคำปฏิญาณใดๆ และเขากระทำโดยไม่ทันรู้ตัว เมื่อเขารู้สึกตัวแล้วในประการใดก็ตาม เขาก็มีความผิด

⁴“‘Or if anyone swears rashly with his lips to do evil, or to do good, whatever it is that a man might utter rashly with an oath, and it is hidden from him; when he knows of it, then he shall be guilty of one of these.

⁵เมื่อผู้หนึ่งผู้ใดกระทำความผิดใดๆที่กล่าวมานี้ ก็ให้เขาสารภาพความผิดที่เขาได้กระทำ

⁵It shall be, when he is guilty of one of these, he shall confess that in which he has sinned:

⁶และให้เขานำเครื่องบูชาไถ่การละเมิดมาถวายแด่พระเยโฮวาห์ เพราะบาปซึ่งเขาได้กระทำนั้น เครื่องบูชานั้นจะเป็นสัตว์ตัวเมียจากฝูง คือลูกแกะหรือลูกแพะ ก็เป็นเครื่องบูชาไถ่บาปได้ ดังนี้ปุโรหิตจะทำการลบมลทินแทนผู้ที่กระทำผิดนั้น

⁶and he shall bring his trespass offering to Yahweh for his sin which he has sinned, a female from the flock, a lamb or a goat, for a sin offering; and the priest shall make atonement for him concerning his sin.

⁷ถ้าเขาไม่สามารถถวายลูกแกะตัวหนึ่ง ก็ให้เขานำนกเขาสองตัวหรือนกพิราบหนุ่มสองตัว มาเป็นเครื่องถวายพระเยโฮวาห์ไถ่การละเมิด นกตัวหนึ่งเป็นเครื่องบูชาไถ่บาป และนกอีกตัวหนึ่งเป็นเครื่องเผาบูชา

⁷“‘If he can’t afford a lamb, then he shall bring his trespass offering for that in which he has sinned, two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, to Yahweh; one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering.

⁸ให้เขานำนกทั้งสองนี้มาให้ปุโรหิต ปุโรหิตก็ถวายนกตัวหนึ่งเป็นเครื่องบูชาไถ่บาปก่อน ให้เขาบิดหัวนกหลุดจากคอแต่อย่าให้ขาด

⁸He shall bring them to the priest, who shall first offer the one which is for the sin offering, and wring off its head from its neck, but shall not sever it completely.

⁹และปุโรหิตจะเอาเลือดเครื่องบูชาไถ่บาปประพรมที่ข้างแท่นเสียบ้าง ส่วนเลือดที่เหลืออยู่นั้นจะรีดให้ไหลออกที่ฐานแท่น นี่เป็นเครื่องบูชาไถ่บาป

⁹He shall sprinkle some of the blood of the sin offering on the side of the altar; and the rest of the blood shall be drained out at the base of the altar. It is a sin offering.

¹⁰แล้วเขาจะถวายนกตัวที่สองเป็นเครื่องเผาบูชาตามลักษณะ และปุโรหิตจะทำการลบมลทินของเขาซึ่งเขาได้กระทำไปและเขาจะได้รับการอภัย

¹⁰He shall offer the second for a burnt offering, according to the ordinance; and the priest shall make atonement for him concerning his sin which he has sinned, and he shall be forgiven.

¹¹แต่ถ้าเขาไม่สามารถที่จะนำนกเขาสองตัวหรือนกพิราบหนุ่มสองตัวมา ก็ให้เขานำเครื่องบูชาไถ่บาปซึ่งเขาได้กระทำนั้นมา คือยอดแป้งหนึ่งในสิบเอฟาห์เอามาเป็นเครื่องบูชาไถ่บาป อย่าใส่น้ำมัน หรือใส่เครื่องกำยานในแป้ง เพราะเป็นเครื่องบูชาไถ่บาป

¹¹“‘But if he can’t afford two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, then he shall bring his offering for that in which he has sinned, the tenth part of an ephah 1 ephah is about 22 litres or about 2/3 of a bushel of fine flour for a sin offering. He shall put no oil on it, neither shall he put any frankincense on it, for it is a sin offering.

¹²ให้เขานำแป้งมาให้ปุโรหิตและปุโรหิตจะเอาแป้งกำมือหนึ่งเป็นส่วนที่ระลึก และเผาเสียบนแท่นเหมือนเครื่องเผาบูชาด้วยไฟถวายแด่พระเยโฮวาห์ เป็นเครื่องบูชาไถ่บาป

¹²He shall bring it to the priest, and the priest shall take his handful of it as the memorial portion, and burn it on the altar, on the offerings of Yahweh made by fire. It is a sin offering.

¹³และปุโรหิตจะทำการลบมลทินของเขาเพราะบาปซึ่งเขาได้กระทำในเรื่องหนึ่งเรื่องใดที่กล่าวมานี้ และเขาจะได้รับการอภัย และส่วนที่เหลือนั้นจะเป็นของปุโรหิต เช่นเดียวกับธัญญบูชา"

¹³The priest shall make atonement for him concerning his sin that he has sinned in any of these things, and he will be forgiven; and the rest shall be the priest’s, as the meal offering.’”

¹⁴พระเยโฮวาห์ตรัสกับโมเสสว่า

¹⁴Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,

¹⁵"ถ้าผู้ใดทำการละเมิดและทำบาปโดยไม่รู้ตัวในเรื่องของบริสุทธิ์แห่งพระเยโฮวาห์ ให้ผู้นั้นนำแกะตัวผู้ที่ปราศจากตำหนิจากฝูงเป็นเครื่องบูชาไถ่การละเมิดถวายแด่พระเยโฮวาห์ ให้เจ้าตีราคาเป็นเงินเชเขลตามเชเขลของสถานบริสุทธิ์ เป็นเครื่องบูชาไถ่การละเมิด

¹⁵“If anyone commits a trespass, and sins unwittingly, in the holy things of Yahweh; then he shall bring his trespass offering to Yahweh, a ram without blemish from the flock, according to your estimation in silver by shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary, for a trespass offering.

¹⁶และให้ผู้นั้นชดใช้ของบริสุทธิ์ที่ขาดไป และเพิ่มอีกหนึ่งในห้าของราคาสิ่งที่ขาดไปนั้น นำมอบให้แก่ปุโรหิต และปุโรหิตจะทำการลบมลทินของเขาด้วยแกะผู้ที่ถวายเป็นเครื่องบูชาไถ่การละเมิด และเขาจะได้รับการอภัย

¹⁶He shall make restitution for that which he has done wrong in the holy thing, and shall add a fifth part to it, and give it to the priest; and the priest shall make atonement for him with the ram of the trespass offering, and he will be forgiven.

¹⁷ถ้าผู้ใดกระทำผิด คือกระทำสิ่งที่พระเยโฮวาห์ทรงบัญชามิให้กระทำ ถึงแม้ว่าเขากระทำโดยไม่รู้เท่าถึงการ เขาก็มีความผิดจะต้องรับโทษความชั่วช้าของเขา

¹⁷“If anyone sins, and does any of the things which Yahweh has commanded not to be done; though he didn’t know it, yet he is guilty, and shall bear his iniquity.

¹⁸ให้ผู้นั้นนำแกะตัวผู้ที่ปราศจากตำหนิมาจากฝูงมาถึงปุโรหิต ให้เจ้าตีราคา เป็นราคาเครื่องบูชาไถ่การละเมิด และให้ปุโรหิตทำการลบมลทินของเขาตามความผิดซึ่งเขาได้กระทำด้วยมิได้เจตนานั้นและเขาจะได้รับการอภัย

¹⁸He shall bring a ram without blemish from of the flock, according to your estimation, for a trespass offering, to the priest; and the priest shall make atonement for him concerning the thing in which he sinned and didn’t know it, and he will be forgiven.

¹⁹เป็นเครื่องบูชาไถ่การละเมิด เพราะเขาได้กระทำการละเมิดต่อพระเยโฮวาห์"

¹⁹It is a trespass offering. He is certainly guilty before Yahweh.”
