⁷You offer polluted bread on my altar. You say, ‘How have we polluted you?’ In that you say, ‘Yahweh’s table contemptible.’

⁸เมื่อเจ้านำสัตว์ตาบอดมาเป็นสัตวบูชา กระทำเช่นนั้นไม่ชั่วหรือ และเมื่อเจ้าถวายสัตว์ที่พิการหรือป่วย กระทำเช่นนั้นไม่ชั่วหรือ พระเยโฮวาห์จอมโยธาตรัสว่า จงนำของอย่างนั้นไปกำนัลเจ้าเมืองของเจ้าดู เขาจะพอใจเจ้าหรือ จะแสดงความชอบพอต่อเจ้าไหม

¹⁰“Oh that there were one among you who would shut the doors, that you might not kindle fire on my altar in vain! I have no pleasure in you,” says Yahweh of Armies, “neither will I accept an offering at your hand.

¹⁴พระเยโฮวาห์จอมโยธาตรัสว่า คนใดที่มีสัตว์ตัวผู้อยู่ในฝูง และได้ปฏิญาณไว้ และยังเอาสัตว์พิการไปถวายแด่องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้า คำสาปแช่งจงตกอยู่กับคนโกงนั้นเถิด เพราะเราเป็นพระมหากษัตริย์ และนามของเราเป็นที่กลัวเกรงท่านกลางประชาชาติทั้งหลาย"
