¹สุดท้ายนี้ พวกพี่น้องของข้าพเจ้า จงชื่นชมยินดีในองค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้า การที่ข้าพเจ้าเขียนข้อความเหล่านี้ถึงท่านซ้ำอีก ก็หาเป็นการลำบากแก่ข้าพเจ้าไม่ แต่เป็นการปลอดภัยสำหรับท่านทั้งหลาย

¹Finally, my brothers, rejoice in the Lord. To write the same things to you, to me indeed is not tiresome, but for you it is safe.

²จงระวังพวกสุนัข จงระวังบรรดาคนที่ทำชั่ว จงระวังพวกถือการเชือดเนื้อเถือหนัง

²Beware of the dogs, beware of the evil workers, beware of the false circumcision.

³เพราะว่าเราทั้งหลายเป็นพวกถือพิธีเข้าสุหนัต คือเป็นผู้นมัสการพระเจ้าด้วยจิตวิญญาณ และชื่นชมยินดีในพระเยซูคริสต์ และไม่ได้ไว้ใจในเนื้อหนัง

³For we are the circumcision, who worship God in the Spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh;

⁴ถึงแม้ว่าข้าพเจ้าเองมีเหตุที่จะไว้ใจในเนื้อหนัง ถ้าผู้อื่นคิดว่าเขามีเหตุผลที่จะไว้ใจในเนื้อหนัง ข้าพเจ้าก็มีมากกว่าเขาเสียอีก

⁴though I myself might have confidence even in the flesh. If any other man thinks that he has confidence in the flesh, I yet more:

⁵คือเมื่อข้าพเจ้าเกิดมาได้แปดวันก็ได้เข้าสุหนัต ข้าพเจ้าเป็นชนชาติอิสราเอล ตระกูลเบนยามิน เป็นชาติฮีบรูเกิดจากชาวฮีบรู ในด้านพระราชบัญญัติก็อยู่ในคณะฟาริสี

⁵circumcised the eighth day, of the stock of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew of Hebrews; concerning the law, a Pharisee;

⁶ในด้านความกระตือรือร้นก็ได้ข่มเหงคริสตจักร ในด้านความชอบธรรมซึ่งมีอยู่โดยพระราชบัญญัติ ข้าพเจ้าก็ไม่มีที่ติได้

⁶concerning zeal, persecuting the assembly; concerning the righteousness which is in the law, found blameless.

⁷แต่ว่าสิ่งใดที่เคยเป็นคุณประโยชน์แก่ข้าพเจ้า ข้าพเจ้าถือว่าสิ่งนั้นไร้ประโยชน์แล้วเพื่อเห็นแก่พระคริสต์

⁷However, what things were gain to me, these have I counted loss for Christ.

⁸ที่จริงข้าพเจ้าถือว่าสิ่งสารพัดไร้ประโยชน์เพราะเห็นแก่ความประเสริฐแห่งความรู้ถึงพระเยซูคริสต์องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าของข้าพเจ้า เพราะเหตุพระองค์ ข้าพเจ้าจึงได้ยอมสละสิ่งสารพัด และถือว่าสิ่งเหล่านั้นเป็นเหมือนหยากเยื่อ เพื่อข้าพเจ้าจะได้พระคริสต์

⁸Yes most certainly, and I count all things to be loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus, my Lord, for whom I suffered the loss of all things, and count them nothing but refuse, that I may gain Christ

⁹และจะได้ปรากฏอยู่ในพระองค์ ไม่มีความชอบธรรมของข้าพเจ้าเองซึ่งได้มาโดยพระราชบัญญัติ แต่มีมาโดยความเชื่อในพระคริสต์ เป็นความชอบธรรมซึ่งมาจากพระเจ้าโดยความเชื่อ

⁹and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own, that which is of the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith;

¹⁰เพื่อข้าพเจ้าจะได้รู้จักพระองค์ และฤทธิ์เดชแห่งการฟื้นคืนพระชนม์ของพระองค์ และร่วมทุกข์กับพระองค์ คือยอมตั้งอารมณ์ตายเหมือนพระองค์

¹⁰that I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, becoming conformed to his death;

¹¹ถ้าโดยวิธีหนึ่งวิธีใดข้าพเจ้าก็จะได้เป็นขึ้นมาจากความตายด้วย

¹¹if by any means I may attain to the resurrection from the dead.

¹²มิใช่ว่าข้าพเจ้าได้แล้ว หรือสำเร็จแล้ว แต่ข้าพเจ้ากำลังบากบั่นมุ่งไป เพื่อข้าพเจ้าจะได้ฉวยเอาตามอย่างที่พระเยซูคริสต์ได้ทรงฉวยข้าพเจ้าไว้เป็นของพระองค์แล้ว

¹²Not that I have already obtained, or am already made perfect; but I press on, if it is so that I may take hold of that for which also I was taken hold of by Christ Jesus.

¹³พี่น้องทั้งหลาย ข้าพเจ้าไม่ถือว่าข้าพเจ้าได้ฉวยไว้ได้แล้ว แต่ข้าพเจ้าทำอย่างหนึ่ง คือลืมสิ่งที่ผ่านพ้นมาแล้วเสีย และโน้มตัวออกไปหาสิ่งที่อยู่ข้างหน้า

¹³Brothers, I don’t regard myself as yet having taken hold, but one thing I do. Forgetting the things which are behind, and stretching forward to the things which are before,

¹⁴ข้าพเจ้ากำลังบากบั่นมุ่งไปสู่หลักชัย เพื่อจะได้รับรางวัลซึ่งพระเจ้าได้ทรงเรียกจากเบื้องบนให้เราไปรับในพระเยซูคริสต์

¹⁴I press on toward the goal for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

¹⁵เหตุฉะนั้นให้เราซึ่งเป็นผู้ใหญ่แล้วมีใจคิดอย่างนั้น และถ้าท่านคิดอย่างอื่น พระเจ้าก็จะทรงโปรดสำแดงสิ่งนี้ให้แก่ท่านด้วย

¹⁵Let us therefore, as many as are perfect, think this way. If in anything you think otherwise, God will also reveal that to you.

¹⁶แต่เราได้แค่ไหนแล้ว ก็ให้เราดำเนินตรงตามนั้นต่อไป คือให้เราคิดเห็นอย่างเดียวกัน

¹⁶Nevertheless, to the extent that we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule. Let us be of the same mind.

¹⁷พี่น้องทั้งหลาย ท่านจงประพฤติตามแบบข้าพเจ้า และคอยดูคนทั้งหลายเหล่านั้นที่ประพฤติตามแบบเดียวกัน เหมือนท่านทั้งหลายได้พวกเราเป็นตัวอย่าง

¹⁷Brothers, be imitators together of me, and note those who walk this way, even as you have us for an example.

¹⁸(เพราะว่ามีคนหลายคนที่ประพฤติตัวเป็นศัตรูต่อกางเขนของพระคริสต์ ซึ่งข้าพเจ้าได้บอกท่านถึงเรื่องของเขาหลายครั้งแล้ว และบัดนี้ยังบอกท่านอีกด้วยน้ำตาไหล

¹⁸For many walk, of whom I told you often, and now tell you even weeping, as the enemies of the cross of Christ,

¹⁹ปลายทางของคนเหล่านั้นคือความพินาศ พระของเขาคือกระเพาะ เขายกความที่น่าอับอายของเขาขึ้นมาโอ้อวด เขาสนใจในวัตถุทางโลก)

¹⁹whose end is destruction, whose god is the belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who think about earthly things.

²⁰ฝ่ายเราเป็นชาวแผ่นดินสวรรค์ เรารอคอยพระผู้ช่วยให้รอดซึ่งจะเสด็จมาจากสวรรค์ คือพระเยซูคริสต์เจ้า

²⁰For our citizenship is in heaven, from where we also wait for a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ;

²¹พระองค์จะทรงเปลี่ยนแปลงกายอันต่ำต้อยของเรา ให้เหมือนพระกายอันทรงสง่าราศีของพระองค์ ด้วยฤทธานุภาพซึ่งพระองค์ทรงสามารถปราบสิ่งสารพัดลงใต้อำนาจของพระองค์

²¹who will change the body of our humiliation to be conformed to the body of his glory, according to the working by which he is able even to subject all things to himself.
