1ข้าแต่พระเยโฮวาห์ ไฉนพระองค์ประทับยืนอยู่ห่างไกล ไฉนพระองค์ทรงซ่อนพระองค์เสียในยามยากลำบาก
1Why do you stand far off, Yahweh? Why do you hide yourself in times of trouble?
2คนชั่วข่มเหงคนยากจนอย่างทะนงองอาจ ขอให้เขาติดกับบ่วงแร้วแห่งอุบายที่เขาคิดขึ้นนั้น
2In arrogance, the wicked hunt down the weak. They are caught in the schemes that they devise.
3เพราะคนชั่วอวดถึงสิ่งที่ใจเขาอยากได้นั้น และอวยพรคนที่โลภ ผู้ซึ่งพระเยโฮวาห์ทรงเกลียดชัง
3For the wicked boasts of his heart’s cravings. He blesses the greedy, and condemns Yahweh.
4เพราะคนชั่วนั้นด้วยสีหน้าที่เย่อหยิ่งยโสจะไม่แสวงหาพระเจ้า พระเจ้ามิได้อยู่ในความคิดทั้งสิ้นของเขาเลย
4The wicked, in the pride of his face, has no room in his thoughts for God.
5วิธีการของคนชั่วร้ายกาจอยู่ทุกเวลา การพิพากษาของพระองค์อยู่สูงพ้นสายตาของเขา เขาพ่นความร้ายใส่บรรดาคู่อริของเขา
5His ways are prosperous at all times. He is haughty, and your laws are far from his sight. As for all his adversaries, he sneers at them.
6โดยคิดในใจของเขาว่า "ข้าจะไม่หวั่นไหว เพราะข้าจะไม่พบความยากลำบากเลย"
6He says in his heart, “I shall not be shaken. For generations I shall have no trouble.”
7การแช่งด่า การล่อลวง และการฉ้อฉลอยู่เต็มปากของเขา ความชั่วร้ายและความเลวทรามอยู่ใต้ลิ้นของเขา
7His mouth is full of cursing, deceit, and oppression. Under his tongue is mischief and iniquity.
8เขานั่งซุ่มคอยดักทำร้ายอยู่ตามชนบท และฆ่าคนไร้ผิดเสียในที่เร้นลับ ตาของเขาสอดหาคนยากจน
8He lies in wait near the villages. From ambushes, he murders the innocent. His eyes are secretly set against the helpless.
9เขาซุ่มอยู่ในที่ลับเหมือนสิงโตอยู่ในที่กำบัง เขาซุ่มอยู่เพื่อจับคนยากจน แล้วเขาฉุดลากคนยากจนมาด้วยตาข่ายของเขา
9He lurks in secret as a lion in his ambush. He lies in wait to catch the helpless. He catches the helpless, when he draws him in his net.
10เขาหมอบลงและย่อตัวลง เพื่อคนยากจนจะจมลงด้วยพวกที่แข็งแรงของเขา
10The helpless are crushed. They collapse. They fall under his strength.
11เขาคิดในใจว่า "พระเจ้าลืมแล้ว พระองค์ทรงซ่อนพระพักตร์และจะไม่ทรงเห็นเลย"
11He says in his heart, “God has forgotten. He hides his face. He will never see it.”
12ข้าแต่พระเยโฮวาห์ ขอทรงลุกขึ้น ข้าแต่พระเจ้า ขอทรงชูพระหัตถ์ของพระองค์ขึ้น ขออย่าทรงลืมคนที่ถ่อมตัวลง
12Arise, Yahweh! God, lift up your hand! Don’t forget the helpless.
13ไฉนคนชั่วจึงประณามพระเจ้า และกล่าวในใจของตนเองว่า "พระองค์จะไม่ทรงเอาเรื่องเอาราว"
13Why does the wicked person condemn God, and say in his heart, “God won’t call me into account?”
14พระองค์ทรงเห็น เออ พระองค์ทรงพิเคราะห์ความยากลำบากและความโกรธเคืองแล้ว เพื่อพระองค์จะได้ทรงดำเนินคดีด้วยพระหัตถ์ของพระองค์ คนยากจนมอบตัวไว้กับพระองค์ พระองค์ทรงเป็นผู้ช่วยคนกำพร้าพ่อ
14But you do see trouble and grief. You consider it to take it into your hand. You help the victim and the fatherless.
15ขอพระองค์ทรงหักแขนของคนชั่วและคนกระทำชั่ว ขอทรงค้นความชั่วของเขาออกมาจนหมดสิ้น
15Break the arm of the wicked. As for the evil man, seek out his wickedness until you find none.
16พระเยโฮวาห์ทรงเป็นพระมหากษัตริย์อยู่เป็นนิตย์นิรันดร์ บรรดาประชาชาติจะพินาศไปจากแผ่นดินของพระองค์
16Yahweh is King forever and ever! The nations will perish out of his land.
17ข้าแต่พระเยโฮวาห์ พระองค์ทรงสดับความปรารถนาของคนที่ถ่อมตัวลง จะทรงเสริมกำลังใจเขา และพระองค์จะทรงเงี่ยพระกรรณสดับถ้อยคำของเขา
17Yahweh, you have heard the desire of the humble. You will prepare their heart. You will cause your ear to hear,
18เพื่อประทานความยุติธรรมแก่คนกำพร้าพ่อและคนถูกบีบบังคับ เพื่อมนุษย์บนแผ่นดินโลกจะไม่บีบบังคับเขาอีกต่อไป
18to judge the fatherless and the oppressed, that man who is of the earth may terrify no more.
