1ข้าแต่พระเยโฮวาห์ มิใช่แก่เหล่าข้าพระองค์ มิใช่แก่เหล่าข้าพระองค์ พระเจ้าข้า แต่ขอถวายสง่าราศีแด่พระนามของพระองค์ เพราะเห็นแก่ความเมตตาของพระองค์ และความจริงของพระองค์
1Not to us, Yahweh, not to us, but to your name give glory, for your loving kindness, and for your truth’s sake.
2ทำไมบรรดาประชาชาติจะกล่าวว่า "บัดนี้พระเจ้าของเขาทั้งหลายอยู่ไหนเล่า"
2Why should the nations say, “Where is their God, now?”
3แต่พระเจ้าของเราทั้งหลายอยู่ในฟ้าสวรรค์ สิ่งใดที่พระองค์พอพระทัยพระองค์ก็ทรงกระทำ
3But our God is in the heavens. He does whatever he pleases.
4รูปเคารพของคนเหล่านั้นเป็นเงินและทองคำ เป็นหัตถกรรมของมนุษย์
4Their idols are silver and gold, the work of men’s hands.
5รูปเหล่านั้นมีปาก แต่พูดไม่ได้ มีตา แต่ดูไม่ได้
5They have mouths, but they don’t speak. They have eyes, but they don’t see.
6มีหู แต่ฟังไม่ได้ยิน มีจมูก แต่ดมไม่ได้
6They have ears, but they don’t hear. They have noses, but they don’t smell.
7มีมือ แต่คลำไม่ได้ มีเท้า แต่เดินไม่ได้ รูปเหล่านั้นทำเสียงในคอไม่ได้
7They have hands, but they don’t feel. They have feet, but they don’t walk, neither do they speak through their throat.
8ผู้ที่ทำรูปเหล่านั้นจะเป็นเหมือนรูปเหล่านั้น เออ บรรดาผู้ที่วางใจในรูปเหล่านั้นก็เช่นกัน
8Those who make them will be like them; yes, everyone who trusts in them.
9โอ อิสราเอลเอ๋ย จงวางใจในพระเยโฮวาห์เถิด พระองค์ทรงเป็นความอุปถัมภ์และเป็นโล่ของเขาทั้งหลาย
9Israel, trust in Yahweh! He is their help and their shield.
10วงศ์วานอาโรนเอ๋ย จงวางใจในพระเยโฮวาห์เถิด พระองค์ทรงเป็นความอุปถัมภ์และเป็นโล่ของเขาทั้งหลาย
10House of Aaron, trust in Yahweh! He is their help and their shield.
11ท่านผู้เกรงกลัวพระเยโฮวาห์เอ๋ย จงวางใจในพระเยโฮวาห์เถิด พระองค์ทรงเป็นความอุปถัมภ์และเป็นโล่ของเขาทั้งหลาย
11You who fear Yahweh, trust in Yahweh! He is their help and their shield.
12พระเยโฮวาห์ทรงเป็นห่วงเราทั้งหลาย พระองค์จะทรงอำนวยพระพรเราทั้งหลาย พระองค์จะทรงอำนวยพระพรแก่วงศ์วานอิสราเอล พระองค์จะทรงอำนวยพระพรแก่วงศ์วานอาโรน
12Yahweh remembers us. He will bless us. He will bless the house of Israel. He will bless the house of Aaron.
13พระองค์จะทรงอำนวยพระพรแก่บรรดาผู้ที่ยำเกรงพระเยโฮวาห์ทั้งผู้น้อยและผู้ใหญ่
13He will bless those who fear Yahweh, both small and great.
14พระเยโฮวาห์จะทรงให้ท่านเพิ่มพูนขึ้นทั้งท่านและลูกหลานของท่าน
14May Yahweh increase you more and more, you and your children.
15ท่านได้รับพระพรจากพระเยโฮวาห์ผู้ทรงสร้างฟ้าสวรรค์และแผ่นดินโลก
15Blessed are you by Yahweh, who made heaven and earth.
16ฟ้าสวรรค์เป็นฟ้าสวรรค์ของพระเยโฮวาห์ แต่พระองค์ทรงประทานแผ่นดินโลกให้แก่บุตรทั้งหลายของมนุษย์
16The heavens are the heavens of Yahweh; but the earth has he given to the children of men.
17คนตายไม่สรรเสริญพระเยโฮวาห์ หรือผู้ที่ลงไปสู่ที่สงัดก็เช่นนั้น
17The dead don’t praise Yah, neither any who go down into silence;
18แต่เราทั้งหลายจะสรรเสริญพระเยโฮวาห์ ตั้งแต่บัดนี้เป็นต้นไปเป็นนิตย์ จงสรรเสริญพระเยโฮวาห์เถิด
18But we will bless Yah, from this time forth and forevermore. Praise Yah!
