1คนโง่รำพึงในใจของตนว่า "ไม่มีพระเจ้า" เขาทั้งหลายก็เลวทรามลง เขากระทำกิจการที่น่าสะอิดสะเอียน ไม่มีสักคนเดียวที่ทำดี
1The fool has said in his heart, “There is no God.” They are corrupt. They have done abominable works. There is none who does good.
2พระเยโฮวาห์ทรงมองลงมาจากฟ้าสวรรค์ ดูบุตรทั้งหลายของมนุษย์ว่าจะมีคนใดบ้างที่เข้าใจที่เสาะแสวงหาพระเจ้า
2Yahweh looked down from heaven on the children of men, to see if there were any who understood, who sought after God.
3เขาทั้งหลายก็หลงเจิ่นไปหมด เขาทั้งหลายก็เลวทรามลงเหมือนกันสิ้น ไม่มีสักคนเดียวที่ทำดี ไม่มีเลย
3They have all gone aside. They have together become corrupt. There is none who does good, no, not one.
4บรรดาผู้ที่กระทำความชั่วช้าไม่มีความรู้หรือ คือผู้ที่กินประชาชนของเราอย่างกินขนมปัง และไม่ร้องทูลพระเยโฮวาห์
4Have all the workers of iniquity no knowledge, who eat up my people as they eat bread, and don’t call on Yahweh?
5เขาทั้งหลายอยู่ที่นั่นอย่างน่าสยดสยองยิ่งนัก เพราะพระเจ้าทรงสถิตตลอดชั่วอายุของผู้ชอบธรรม
5There they were in great fear, for God is in the generation of the righteous.
6เจ้าได้คว่ำแผนงานของคนยากจนเสีย แต่พระเยโฮวาห์ทรงเป็นที่ลี้ภัยของเขา
6You frustrate the plan of the poor, because Yahweh is his refuge.
7ขอการช่วยให้รอดเพื่ออิสราเอลมาจากศิโยนเสียทีเถิด เมื่อพระเยโฮวาห์ทรงให้พวกเชลยแห่งประชาชนของพระองค์กลับสู่สภาพเดิม ยาโคบจะปลาบปลื้ม อิสราเอลจะยินดี
7Oh that the salvation of Israel would come out of Zion! When Yahweh restores the fortunes of his people, then Jacob shall rejoice, and Israel shall be glad.
