¹ท่านผู้หนึ่งจึงเอาไม้อ้อท่อนหนึ่งให้ข้าพเจ้ารูปร่างเหมือนไม้เรียว และทูตสวรรค์องค์นั้นยืนอยู่กล่าวว่า "จงลุกขึ้นไปวัดพระวิหารของพระเจ้า และแท่นบูชา และคำนวณคนทั้งหลายซึ่งนมัสการในนั้น

¹A reed like a rod was given to me. Someone said, “Rise, and measure God’s temple, and the altar, and those who worship in it.

²แต่ไม่ต้องวัดลานชั้นนอกพระวิหารนั้น เพราะว่าที่นั่นได้มอบไว้แก่คนต่างชาติแล้ว และเขาจะเหยียบย่ำเมืองบริสุทธิ์ลงใต้เท้าตลอดสี่สิบสองเดือน

²Leave out the court which is outside of the temple, and don’t measure it, for it has been given to the nations. They will tread the holy city under foot for forty-two months.

³และเราจะให้ฤทธิ์อำนาจแก่พยานทั้งสองของเรา และเขาจะพยากรณ์ตลอดพันสองร้อยหกสิบวัน นุ่งห่มด้วยผ้ากระสอบ

³I will give power to my two witnesses, and they will prophesy one thousand two hundred sixty days, clothed in sackcloth.”

⁴พยานทั้งสองนั้นคือต้นมะกอกเทศสองต้น และคันประทีปสองคันที่ตั้งอยู่เบื้องพระพักตร์พระเจ้า ผู้ทรงเป็นเจ้าแห่งแผ่นดินโลก

⁴These are the two olive trees and the two lampstands, standing before the Lord of the earth.

⁵ถ้าผู้ใดจะใคร่ทำร้ายพยานทั้งสองนั้น ไฟก็จะพลุ่งออกจากปากเขาเผาผลาญศัตรูผู้นั้น ถ้าผู้ใดจะทำร้ายพยานทั้งสอง ผู้นั้นก็จะต้องตายในลักษณะนี้

⁵If anyone desires to harm them, fire proceeds out of their mouth and devours their enemies. If anyone desires to harm them, he must be killed in this way.

⁶พยานทั้งสองมีฤทธิ์ปิดท้องฟ้าได้ เพื่อไม่ให้ฝนตกในระหว่างวันเหล่านั้นที่เขากำลังพยากรณ์ และมีฤทธิ์อำนาจเหนือน้ำทำให้กลายเป็นเลือดได้ และมีฤทธิ์บันดาลให้ภัยพิบัติต่างๆกระหน่ำโลก กี่ครั้งก็ได้ตามความปรารถนาของเขา

⁶These have the power to shut up the sky, that it may not rain during the days of their prophecy. They have power over the waters, to turn them into blood, and to strike the earth with every plague, as often as they desire.

⁷และเมื่อเสร็จสิ้นการเป็นพยานแล้ว สัตว์ร้ายที่ขึ้นมาจากเหวที่ไม่มีก้นเหวก็จะสู้รบกับเขา จะชนะเขาและจะฆ่าเขาเสีย

⁷When they have finished their testimony, the beast that comes up out of the abyss will make war with them, and overcome them, and kill them.

⁸และศพของเขาจะอยู่ที่ถนนในเมืองใหญ่นั้น ซึ่งตามฝ่ายจิตวิญญาณเรียกว่า เมืองโสโดมและอียิปต์ อันเป็นเมืองซึ่งองค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าของเราถูกตรึงด้วย

⁸Their dead bodies will be in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also their Lord was crucified.

⁹คนหลายชาติ หลายตระกูล หลายภาษา หลายประชาชาติ จะเพ่งดูศพเขาตลอดสามวันครึ่ง และจะไม่ยอมให้เอาศพนั้นใส่อุโมงค์เลย

⁹From among the peoples, tribes, languages, and nations people will look at their dead bodies for three and a half days, and will not allow their dead bodies to be laid in a tomb.

¹⁰คนทั้งหลายซึ่งอยู่ในแผ่นดินโลกจะยินดีเพราะเขา และจะสนุกสนานรื่นเริง จะให้ของขวัญแก่กัน เพราะว่าผู้พยากรณ์ทั้งสองนี้ได้ทรมานคนเหล่านั้นที่อาศัยอยู่ในโลก"

¹⁰Those who dwell on the earth rejoice over them, and they will be glad. They will give gifts to one another, because these two prophets tormented those who dwell on the earth.

¹¹เมื่อเวลาผ่านไปสามวันครึ่งแล้ว ลมปราณแห่งชีวิตจากพระเจ้าก็เข้าสู่ศพของเขาอีก และเขาก็ลุกขึ้นยืน คนทั้งหลายที่ได้เห็นเขาก็มีความหวาดกลัวเป็นอันมาก

¹¹After the three and a half days, the breath of life from God entered into them, and they stood on their feet. Great fear fell on those who saw them.

¹²คนทั้งหลายได้ยินพระสุรเสียงดังมาจากสวรรค์ ตรัสแก่เขาว่า "จงขึ้นมาที่นี่เถิด" และพวกศัตรูก็เห็นเขาขึ้นไปในหมู่เมฆสู่สวรรค์

¹²I heard a loud voice from heaven saying to them, “Come up here!” They went up into heaven in the cloud, and their enemies saw them.

¹³และในเวลานั้นก็เกิดแผ่นดินไหวใหญ่ และเมืองนั้นก็ถล่มลงเสียหนึ่งในสิบส่วน มีคนตายเพราะแผ่นดินไหวเจ็ดพันคน และคนที่เหลืออยู่นั้นมีความหวาดกลัวยิ่ง และได้ถวายพระเกียรติแด่พระเจ้าแห่งสวรรค์

¹³In that day there was a great earthquake, and a tenth of the city fell. Seven thousand people were killed in the earthquake, and the rest were terrified, and gave glory to the God of heaven.

¹⁴วิบัติอย่างที่สองก็ผ่านไปแล้ว ดูเถิด วิบัติอย่างที่สามก็จะมาถึงในไม่ช้านี้แหละ

¹⁴The second woe is past. Behold, the third woe comes quickly.

¹⁵และทูตสวรรค์องค์ที่เจ็ดก็เป่าแตรขึ้น และมีเสียงหลายๆเสียงกล่าวขึ้นดังๆในสวรรค์ว่า "ราชอาณาจักรแห่งพิภพนี้ได้กลับเป็นราชอาณาจักรขององค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าของเรา และเป็นของพระคริสต์ของพระองค์ และพระองค์จะทรงครอบครองตลอดไปเป็นนิตย์"

¹⁵The seventh angel sounded, and great voices in heaven followed, saying, “The kingdom of the world has become the Kingdom of our Lord, and of his Christ. He will reign forever and ever!”

¹⁶และผู้อาวุโสยี่สิบสี่คนซึ่งนั่งในที่นั่งของตนเบื้องพระพักตร์พระเจ้าก็ทรุดตัวลงกราบนมัสการพระเจ้า

¹⁶The twenty-four elders, who sit on their thrones before God’s throne, fell on their faces and worshiped God,

¹⁷และทูลว่า "ข้าแต่พระเจ้า องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้า ผู้ทรงฤทธานุภาพสูงสุด ผู้ทรงดำรงอยู่บัดนี้ และผู้ได้ทรงดำรงอยู่ในกาลก่อน และผู้จะเสด็จมาในอนาคต ข้าพระองค์ทั้งหลายขอบพระคุณพระองค์ ที่พระองค์ได้ทรงใช้ฤทธานุภาพอันใหญ่ยิ่งของพระองค์ และได้ทรงครอบครอง

¹⁷saying: “We give you thanks, Lord God, the Almighty, the one who is and who was TR adds “and who is coming” ; because you have taken your great power, and reigned.

¹⁸เหล่าประชาชาติมีความโกรธแค้น แต่พระพิโรธของพระองค์ก็มาถึงแล้ว ถึงเวลาที่พระองค์จะทรงพิพากษาคนทั้งหลายที่ตายไปแล้ว และถึงเวลาที่พระองค์จะทรงประทานบำเหน็จแก่ผู้รับใช้ของพระองค์ คือพวกศาสดาพยากรณ์ และวิสุทธิชนทั้งปวง และแก่คนทั้งหลายที่ยำเกรงพระนามของพระองค์ทั้งผู้น้อยผู้ใหญ่ และถึงเวลาแล้วที่พระองค์จะทรงทำลายคนที่ทำลายแผ่นดินโลก"

¹⁸The nations were angry, and your wrath came, as did the time for the dead to be judged, and to give your bondservants the prophets, their reward, as well as to the saints, and those who fear your name, to the small and the great; and to destroy those who destroy the earth.”

¹⁹แล้วพระวิหารของพระเจ้าในสวรรค์ก็เปิดออก ในพระวิหารนั้นเห็นมีหีบพันธสัญญาของพระองค์ แล้วก็มีฟ้าแลบ และเสียงต่างๆ ฟ้าร้อง แผ่นดินไหว ลูกเห็บก็ตกอย่างหนัก

¹⁹God’s temple that is in heaven was opened, and the ark of the Lord’s covenant was seen in his temple. Lightnings, sounds, thunders, an earthquake, and great hail followed.
