¹ท่านได้ชี้ให้ข้าพเจ้าดูแม่น้ำบริสุทธิ์ที่มีน้ำแห่งชีวิต ใสเหมือนแก้วผลึก ไหลออกมาจากพระที่นั่งของพระเจ้า และของพระเมษโปดก

¹He showed me a TR adds “pure” river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb,

²ท่ามกลางถนนในเมืองนั้นและริมแม่น้ำทั้งสองฟากมีต้นไม้แห่งชีวิต ซึ่งออกผลสิบสองชนิด ออกผลทุกๆเดือน และใบของต้นไม้นั้นสำหรับรักษาบรรดาประชาชาติให้หาย

²in the middle of its street. On this side of the river and on that was the tree of life, bearing twelve kinds of fruits, yielding its fruit every month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.

³จะไม่มีการสาปแช่งใดๆอีกต่อไป พระที่นั่งของพระเจ้าและของพระเมษโปดกจะตั้งอยู่ในเมืองนั้น และบรรดาผู้รับใช้ของพระองค์จะปรนนิบัติพระองค์

³There will be no curse any more. The throne of God and of the Lamb will be in it, and his servants serve him.

⁴เขาเหล่านั้นจะเห็นพระพักตร์พระองค์ และพระนามของพระองค์จะประทับอยู่ที่หน้าผากเขา

⁴They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads.

⁵กลางคืนจะไม่มีที่นั่น เขาไม่ต้องการแสงเทียนหรือแสงอาทิตย์ เพราะว่าองค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าคือพระเจ้าทรงประทานแสงสว่างแก่เขา และเขาจะครอบครองอยู่ตลอดไปเป็นนิตย์

⁵There will be no night, and they need no lamp light; for the Lord God will illuminate them. They will reign forever and ever.

⁶และทูตสวรรค์องค์นั้นบอกข้าพเจ้าว่า "ถ้อยคำเหล่านี้เป็นคำสัตย์ซื่อและสัตย์จริง และองค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้า พระเจ้าแห่งพวกศาสดาพยากรณ์อันบริสุทธิ์ ได้ทรงใช้ทูตสวรรค์ของพระองค์สำแดงแก่บรรดาผู้รับใช้ของพระองค์ ถึงเหตุการณ์ทั้งปวงซึ่งจะอุบัติขึ้นในไม่ช้า"

⁶He said to me, “These words are faithful and true. The Lord God of the spirits of the prophets sent his angel to show to his bondservants the things which must happen soon.”

⁷"ดูเถิด เราจะมาโดยเร็ว ผู้ใดที่ถือรักษาคำพยากรณ์ในหนังสือนี้ก็เป็นสุข"

⁷ “Behold, I come quickly. Blessed is he who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book.”

⁸ข้าพเจ้า คือยอห์น เป็นผู้ได้เห็นและได้ยินเหตุการณ์เหล่านี้ และครั้นข้าพเจ้าได้ยินและได้เห็นแล้ว ข้าพเจ้าก็ทรุดตัวลงจะนมัสการแทบเท้าทูตสวรรค์ที่ได้สำแดงเหตุการณ์เหล่านี้แก่ข้าพเจ้า

⁸Now I, John, am the one who heard and saw these things. When I heard and saw, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel who had shown me these things.

⁹แต่ท่านห้ามข้าพเจ้าว่า "อย่าเลย ด้วยว่าข้าพเจ้าเป็นเพื่อนผู้รับใช้เช่นเดียวกับท่าน และพวกพี่น้องของท่านคือพวกศาสดาพยากรณ์ และพวกที่ถือรักษาถ้อยคำในหนังสือนี้ จงนมัสการพระเจ้าเถิด"

⁹He said to me, “See you don’t do it! I am a fellow bondservant with you and with your brothers, the prophets, and with those who keep the words of this book. Worship God.”

¹⁰และท่านบอกข้าพเจ้าว่า "อย่าประทับตราปิดคำพยากรณ์ในหนังสือนี้ เพราะว่าใกล้จะถึงเวลานั้นแล้ว

¹⁰He said to me, “Don’t seal up the words of the prophecy of this book, for the time is at hand.

¹¹ผู้ที่เป็นคนอธรรมก็ให้เขาอธรรมต่อไป ผู้ที่เป็นคนลามกก็ให้เขาลามกต่อไป ผู้ที่เป็นคนชอบธรรมก็ให้เขาชอบธรรมต่อไป และผู้ที่เป็นคนบริสุทธิ์ก็ให้เขาเป็นคนบริสุทธิ์ต่อไป"

¹¹He who acts unjustly, let him act unjustly still. He who is filthy, let him be filthy still. He who is righteous, let him do righteousness still. He who is holy, let him be holy still.”

¹²"ดูเถิด เราจะมาโดยเร็ว และจะนำบำเหน็จของเรามาด้วย เพื่อตอบแทนการกระทำของทุกคน

¹² “Behold, I come quickly. My reward is with me, to repay to each man according to his work.

¹³เราคืออัลฟาและโอเมกา เป็นปฐมและเป็นอวสาน เป็นเบื้องต้นและเบื้องปลาย"

¹³ I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.

¹⁴คนทั้งหลายที่ประพฤติตามพระบัญญัติของพระองค์ก็เป็นสุข เพื่อว่าเขาจะได้มีสิทธิ์ในต้นไม้แห่งชีวิต และเพื่อเขาจะได้เข้าไปในเมืองนั้นโดยทางประตู

¹⁴ Blessed are those who do his commandments, NU reads “wash their robes” instead of “do his commandments”. that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter in by the gates into the city.

¹⁵ด้วยว่าภายนอกนั้นมีสุนัข คนใช้เวทมนตร์ คนล่วงประเวณี คนฆ่ามนุษย์ คนไหว้รูปเคารพ ทุกคนที่รักและกระทำการมุสา

¹⁵ Outside are the dogs, the sorcerers, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices falsehood.

¹⁶"เราคือเยซูผู้ใช้ให้ทูตสวรรค์ของเราไปเป็นพยานสำแดงเหตุการณ์เหล่านี้แก่ท่านเพื่อคริสตจักรทั้งหลาย เราเป็นรากและเป็นเชื้อสายของดาวิด และเป็นดาวประจำรุ่งอันสุกใส"

¹⁶ I, Jesus, have sent my angel to testify these things to you for the assemblies. I am the root and the offspring of David; the Bright and Morning Star.”

¹⁷พระวิญญาณและเจ้าสาวตรัสว่า "เชิญมาเถิด" และให้ผู้ที่ได้ยินกล่าวว่า "เชิญมาเถิด" และให้ผู้ที่กระหายเข้ามา ผู้ใดมีใจปรารถนา ก็ให้ผู้นั้นมารับน้ำแห่งชีวิตโดยไม่ต้องเสียอะไรเลย

¹⁷The Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” He who hears, let him say, “Come!” He who is thirsty, let him come. He who desires, let him take the water of life freely.

¹⁸ข้าพเจ้าเตือนทุกคนที่ได้ยินคำพยากรณ์ในหนังสือนี้ว่า ถ้าผู้ใดจะเพิ่มเติมคำเข้าไปในหนังสือนี้ พระเจ้าก็จะทรงเพิ่มภัยพิบัติที่เขียนไว้ในหนังสือม้วนนี้แก่ผู้นั้น

¹⁸I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book, if anyone adds to them, may God add to him the plagues which are written in this book.

¹⁹และถ้าผู้ใดตัดข้อความออกจากหนังสือพยากรณ์นี้ พระเจ้าก็จะทรงเอาส่วนแบ่งของผู้นั้นที่มีอยู่ในหนังสือแห่งชีวิต และที่มีอยู่ในเมืองบริสุทธิ์นั้น และจากสิ่งที่มีเขียนไว้ในหนังสือม้วนนี้ไปเสีย

¹⁹If anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, may God take away his part from the tree of life, and out of the holy city, which are written in this book.

²⁰พระองค์ผู้ทรงเป็นพยานในเหตุการณ์ทั้งปวงนี้ ตรัสว่า "แน่นอน เราจะมาโดยเร็ว" เอเมน พระเยซูเจ้า ขอให้เป็นเช่นนั้น เชิญเสด็จมาเถิด

²⁰He who testifies these things says, “Yes, I come quickly.” Amen! Yes, come, Lord Jesus.

²¹ขอให้พระคุณแห่งพระเยซูคริสต์องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าของเรา จงดำรงอยู่กับท่านทั้งหลายเถิด เอเมน

²¹The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with all the saints. Amen.
