1Inoha' Tomoroli' mpo'uli' -taka hante kalonto' -lonto' -na napa mpai' to jadi' hi eo-eo to tumai. Nto'u toe mpai', hantongo' tauna mengkala'ura ngkai pepangala' -ra hi tudui' to makono. Mengkoru lau-ra hi noto to mepohala'tara, pai' -ra mpotuku' tudui' to ngkai seta.
1But the Spirit saith expressly, that in later times some shall fall away from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of demons,
2Tudui' toe raparata tauna to boa', hanyala lolita-ra hanyala kehi-ra. Mobengi nono-ra, uma-pi ra'incai me'ea' ane rababehi gau' to dada'a.
2through the hypocrisy of men that speak lies, branded in their own conscience as with a hot iron;
3Metudui' -ra bona tauna neo' ncamoko pai' neo' mpokoni' to rapalii'. Hiaa' hawe'ea konia' toe, napajadi' Alata'ala bona rakoni'. Kita' to mepangala' hi Kristus pai' to mpo'inca-mi tudui' to makono, ma'ala takoni' pongkoni' toe pai' -ta mpo'uli' tarima kasi hi Alata'ala.
3forbidding to marry, [and commanding] to abstain from meats, which God created to be received with thanksgiving by them that believe and know the truth.
4Apa' hawe'ea to napajadi' Alata'ala, lompe' omea, uma ria to rapalii' ane tatarima hante pontarima kasi hi Alata'ala.
4For every creature of God is good, and nothing is to be rejected, if it be received with thanksgiving:
5Ntuku' Lolita Alata'ala, hawe'ea ma'ala takoni', pai' taposampayai wo'o bona nagane' -taka.
5for it is sanctified through the word of God and prayer.
6Ane nutudui' -ra ompi' -ompi' hampepangalaa' -ta hawe'ea toe, iko jadi' topobago Kristus Yesus to lompe', pai' nuperohoi nono-nu moto hante Lolita Alata'ala to tapangala' pai' hante tudui' to lompe' to mahae-mi nutuku'.
6If thou put the brethren in mind of these things, thou shalt be a good minister of Christ Jesus, nourished in the words of the faith, and of the good doctrine which thou hast followed [until now]:
7Neo' nutadi tempo-nu mpewulihi' jarita-jarita boa' pai' lolita to uma mpokeni-ta mengkoru hi Alata'ala. Huduwukui mporohoi nono-nu mengkoru hi Alata'ala.
7but refuse profane and old wives' fables. And exercise thyself unto godliness:
8Apa' ane tarohoi wotoloka' -ta, hangkedi' -wadi kalaua-na. Tapi' ane tarohoi nono-ta mengkoru hi Alata'ala, wori' kalaua-na, apa' pengkoru-ta hi Alata'ala toe mpokeni rasi' hi katuwu' -ta tempo toi, pai' hi katuwu' -ta hi eo mpeno-na wo'o.
8for bodily exercise is profitable for a little; but godliness is profitable for all things, having promise of the life which now is, and of that which is to come.
9Makono mpu'u lolita toe we'i pai' masipato' taparasaya omea.
9Faithful is the saying, and worthy of all acceptation.
10Toe-mi pai' mobago ngkoro-ta, apa' ncarumaka-ta hi Alata'ala to tuwu' duu' kahae-hae-na, Magau' Tompohore hawe'ea tauna, peliu-liu-nami tauna to mepangala'.
10For to this end we labor and strive, because we have our hope set on the living God, who is the Saviour of all men, specially of them that believe.
11Hawe'ea to ku'uli' -koko toi, tudui' -raka pai' hawai' -ra bona ratuku'.
11These things command and teach.
12Nau' mongura-pidi-ko, aga neo' -ko ma'ala rapemarua'. Kana jadi' tonco-ko hi ompi' -ompi' hampepangalaa' hi rala pololita-nu, pogau' -nu, ahi' -nu hi doo-doo, pepangala' -nu hi Pue', pai' po'ingku-nu to moroli'.
12Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an ensample to them that believe, in word, in manner of life, in love, in faith, in purity.
13Kako'ia-ku rata, neo' nu'oloi' mpobasa Buku Tomoroli' hi ompi' -ompi' hampepangalaa', nu'apui nono-ra pai' nutudui' -ra.
13Till I come, give heed to reading, to exhortation, to teaching.

14Neglect not the gift that is in thee, which was given thee by prophecy, with the laying on of the hands of the presbytery.
15Neo' nubahakai mpobago hawe'ea toe, nuparipoko mpu'u, bona monoto hi hawe'ea tauna kabaka' -nu mpokamu pobago Pue'.
15Be diligent in these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy progress may be manifest unto all.
16Jagai po'ingku-nu, pai' jagai wo'o tudui' -nu. Tida-ko mpobago hawe'ea toe, apa' ngkai toe mpai' mporata-ko kalompea', wae wo'o tauna to mpo'epe tudui' -nu.
16Take heed to thyself, and to thy teaching. Continue in these things; for in doing this thou shalt save both thyself and them that hear thee.
