Uma: New Testament

American Standard Version

2 Corinthians

5

1Woto-ta hi dunia' toi hewa tomi to tapo'ohai' hampai' -wadi. Pai' ta'inca moto, ane tomi-ta toi rakero (batua-na, ane mate-ta), Alata'ala mporodo-taka hameha' tomi hi suruga, to uma rababehi manusia' pai' to tida duu' kahae-hae-na (batua-na, woto-ta to bo'u).
1For we know that if the earthly house of our tabernacle be dissolved, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal, in the heavens.
2Bula-ta tuwu' -pidi hi dunia' toi, ntodohaka-ta pai' mpokahina-ta woto-ta to bo'u hi suruga.
2For verily in this we groan, longing to be clothed upon with our habitation which is from heaven:
3Kakono-na, uma-ta dota mate pai' mpalahii woto-ta toi-e. Konoa-ta bona tasampei woto-ta toi hante woto-ta to bo'u toe mpai'.
3if so be that being clothed we shall not be found naked.
4Apa' bula-ta tuwu' -pidi hi dunia' toi, ntodohaka-ta apa' motomo kinolo-ta. Aga neo' ta'uli' wae, doko' mate-ta bona mpalahii woto-ta toi. Konoa-tale, bona neo' -ta mate, tapi' bona woto-ta toi kaliliu tesampei hante woto to tuwu' duu' kahae-hae-na.
4For indeed we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened; not for that we would be unclothed, but that we would be clothed upon, that what is mortal may be swallowed up of life.
5Alata'ala moto-mi to mporodo-taka hawe'ea toe, pai' nawai' -ta Inoha' Tomoroli' hewa tanda kanawai' -ta wo'o mpai' woto to bo'u hi suruga.
5Now he that wrought us for this very thing is God, who gave unto us the earnest of the Spirit.
6Toe-mi pai' moroho oa' nono-kai. Ta'inca moto, woto-ta toi hewa tomi to tapo'ohai' hi dunia' toi. Jadi', bula-ta tuwu' -pidi hi dunia' toi, molaa-ta ngkai Pue',
6Being therefore always of good courage, and knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord
7apa' bula-ta tuwu' hi dunia' toi-pidi, tatuku' -i Pue' ngkai pepangala' -ta, uma-hawo ngkai katahilo-na.
7(for we walk by faith, not by sight);
8Jadi', moroho oa' nono-ta. Nau' ba mate mpu'u-ta, taporasi' lau-mi apa' ane mogaa' -ta ngkai woto-ta toi, dohe Pue' -tamo.
8we are of good courage, I say, and are willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be at home with the Lord.
9Uma ta'incai ba narata-ta mpai' Pue' bula-ta tuwu' -pidi ba mpolia' mate-tamo. Aga nau' ba beiwa, tahuduwukui oa' mpobabehi napa to mpakagoe' nono-na.
9Wherefore also we make it our aim, whether at home or absent, to be well-pleasing unto him.
10Apa' bate rata mpai' tempo-na, kita' omea kana mponyanyo Kristus bona nawile pobago-ta, pai' butu dua-ta mporata hiwili pobago-ta to tababehi bula-ta hi dunia' toi-pidi, ba lompe' ba dada'a-di.
10For we must all be made manifest before the judgment-seat of Christ; that each one may receive the things [done] in the body, according to what he hath done, whether [it be] good or bad.
11Jadi', koro' -makai mpobabehi napa-napa to uma napokonoi Pue', apa' ki'inca kanawile-ta omea mpai'. Toe pai' kihuduwukui mpokeni tauna mepangala' hi Pue' Yesus. Alata'ala mpo'inca ihi' nono-kai. Pai' kusarumaka ompi', uma-pi ria-koi to morara' nono-ni hi kai', kusarumaka bona koi' omea mpai' mpo'inca ihi' nono-kai.
11Knowing therefore the fear of the Lord, we persuade men, but we are made manifest unto God; and I hope that we are made manifest also in your consciences.
12Neo' ni'uli' wae, mpo'une' woto-kai wo'o-mi toi-e. Patuju-kai toi, mpopo'incai-koi napa to lompe' to ma'ala ni'une' -kakai, bona ria ohea-ni mpotompoi' -ra to mposapuaka-kai. Apa' tauna to mposapuaka-kai tetura lou mpomolangko nono-ra sabana kapantea-ra pai' huraa-ra hi dunia' toi, tapi' ihi' nono-ra uma lompe'.
12We are not again commending ourselves unto you, but [speak] as giving you occasion of glorying on our behalf, that ye may have wherewith to answer them that glory in appearance, and not in heart.
13Ria-ra to mpo'uli' wuli-kai. Ane wuli mpu'u-kai, toe kadoko' -kai mpotuku' Alata'ala hante nono-kai mpu'u. Aga ane monoto moto-di pekiri-kaie, toe bona mpotulungi-koi ompi'.
13For whether we are beside ourselves, it is unto God; or whether we are of sober mind, it is unto you.
14Ahi' -na Kristus-le pai' hewa toe kehi-kaie. Apa' ki'uli' hewa toi: Kristus mate mposampei hawe'ea tauna, jadi' ma'ala-mi ta'uli', hewa mate omea-tamo.
14For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that one died for all, therefore all died;
15Apa' patuju-na Kristus mate mposampei hawe'ea tauna, bona kita' to tuwu' -pidi hi dunia' toi-e, uma-pi mpotuku' konoa-ta moto. Mpotuku' konoa-na Kristus-tamo, apa' Hi'a-mi to mate pai' tuwu' nculii' mposampei-ta.
15and he died for all, that they that live should no longer live unto themselves, but unto him who for their sakes died and rose again.
16Jadi', toe pai' uma-pakai mpelence tauna ntuku' napa to kahiloa hi mali-na-wadi. Owi ki'uli' Kristus manusia' biasa-i-wadi, aga tempo toi uma-pi hewa toe pekiri-kai.
16Wherefore we henceforth know no man after the flesh: even though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now we know [him so] no more.
17Jadi', ane tauna mosidai' hante Kristus, manusia' to bo'u-imi. Katuwu' -na to ri'ulu timpaliu-mi. Mporata-imi katuwua' to bo'u.
17Wherefore if any man is in Christ, [he is] a new creature: the old things are passed away; behold, they are become new.
18Alata'ala moto to mpobago hawe'ea toe. Hante petauntongoi' -na Kristus, Alata'ala mpopohintuwu' -tamo hante Hi'a, pai' nawai' -ta pobago mpoparata kareba toe hi tau ntani' -na, bona hira' wo'o hintuwu' hante Alata'ala.
18But all things are of God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ, and gave unto us the ministry of reconciliation;
19Toi-mi kareba to kiparata: napa to nababehi Kristus napo'ohea Alata'ala mpopohintuwu' manusia' hante Hi'a, duu' -na uma-pi napoinono sala' -ra. Pai' nawai' -kakai kai' -mi pobago mpokeni Lolita-na hi tau ntani' -na, bona hintuwu' -ra hante Alata'ala.
19to wit, that God was in Christ reconciling the world unto himself, not reckoning unto them their trespasses, and having committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
20Kai' toi-mi napowiwi napowiti' Kristus. Mololita-kai, hewa Alata'ala moto-mi to mpololitai-koi. Jadi', hi rala hanga' Kristus kiperapi' bona hintuwu' -mokoi hante Alata'ala.
20We are ambassadors therefore on behalf of Christ, as though God were entreating by us: we beseech [you] on behalf of Christ, be ye reconciled to God.
21Kristus, uma-i mojeko'. Tapi' Alata'ala mpopokoloi-i jeko' -ta, napohewa tauna to mojeko' -i bona Hi'a to mposampei-ta. Alata'ala mpobabehi toe bona kita' to mosidai' hante Kristus ma'ala napohewa tauna to monoa' hi poncilo-na.
21Him who knew no sin he made [to be] sin on our behalf; that we might become the righteousness of God in him.
