4

1Timotius! Paresa' -ku toi ku'uli' ngkai nono-ku mpu'u. Rata mpai' tempo-na Pue' Yesus rata nculii' jadi' Magau' hi dunia' toi, pai' -i mpohurai kara-kara hawe'ea tauna, lompe' to tuwu' -pidi, lompe' to mate-ramo. Toe pai' hi rala hanga' Alata'ala pai' Kristus Yesus kuparesai' -ko:
1I charge [thee] in the sight of God, and of Christ Jesus, who shall judge the living and the dead, and by his appearing and his kingdom:
2Parata-mi Lolita Alata'ala. Kana sadia-ko mpoparata Lolita-na hi tempo to lompe' ba hi tempo to dada'a. Ewa-ra to mpokeni tudui' to sala', tagi-ra to dada'a po'ingku-ra, apui nono-ra bona lompe' po'ingku-ra. Mosabara ncuu-ko mpotudui' -ra.
2preach the word; be urgent in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching.
3Apa' rata mpai' tempo-na, uma-rapa dota mpe'epei tudui' to makono. Mpopali' -ra wori' guru to mpotudui' -ra lolita to mpakagoe' nono-ra, bona ma'ala-ra mpotuku' kahinaa nono-ra moto.
3For the time will come when they will not endure the sound doctrine; but, having itching ears, will heap to themselves teachers after their own lusts;
4Mengkawongo-ra ane mpo'epe-ra tudui' to makono, pai' rata'a tilinga-ra ane mpo'epe-ra tudui' to ratamangko-wadi.
4and will turn away their ears from the truth, and turn aside unto fables.
5Toe pai' kuparesai' -ko Timotius: pakanoto nono-nu bona sadia-ko nau' napa-napa-mi to jadi', ntaha-ko mpokolo kaparia, mobago-ko mpopalele Kareba Lompe' hi tauna to ko'ia mpo'epei, posipolea hawe'ea pobago to nawai' -koko Pue'.
5But be thou sober in all things, suffer hardship, do the work of an evangelist, fulfil thy ministry.
6Kuwai' -ko paresa' -ku toi, apa' ku'inca uma-apa mahae hi dunia' toi, neo' rata-mi ioa' -ku. Pai' ane rapatehi-apa mpai', kutonu katuwu' -ku toi hi Alata'ala, hewa pepue' -ku hi Hi'a.
6For I am already being offered, and the time of my departure is come.
7Kutuku' lompe' -mi ohea to napakatantu-ka Pue'. Kuposipolea-mi pobago-ku. Uma mogego' pepangala' -ku duu' hi ka'omea-na.
7I have fought the good fight, I have finished the course, I have kept the faith:
8Jadi' hewa toe lau, rodo-mi parasee pedagia-ku hi suruga, apa' kutuku' -mi konoa Pue'. Nawai' -a parasee toe hi Eo Kiama, nto'u napohurai kara-kara hawe'ea tauna hante kanoa' -noa' -na. Pai' uma muntu' aku' -wadi to mporata parasee toe-e. Nawai' wo'o-ra hawe'ea tauna to mpoka'ahi' -i pai' to mpopea karata-na nculii'.
8henceforth there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give to me at that day; and not to me only, but also to all them that have loved his appearing.
9Timotius, kuperapi' bona sohi' -ko tumai mpencuai' -a.
9Give diligence to come shortly unto me:
10Apa' neo' uma-pi hema to mpo'emai' -a hi rei. Demas, napalahii-ama-kuna, apa' mpokahina-i katuwu' -na hi dunia' toi. Hilou-i hi Tesalonika. Ane Kreskes, hilou-i hi Galatia. Titus hilou hi Dalmatia.
10for Demas forsook me, having loved this present world, and went to Thessalonica; Crescens to Galatia, Titus to Dalmatia.
11Muntu' Lukas-damo to hi rehe'i dohe-ku. Ane tumai-ko mpai', taraliu-ka-kuwo Markus nupo'ema' -i tumai dohe-nu, apa' ma'ala-i mpongawa' -a hi rala bago-ku.
11Only Luke is with me. Take Mark, and bring him with thee; for he is useful to me for ministering.
12Tikhikus kuhubui tilou hi Efesus.
12But Tychicus I sent to Ephesus.
13Kuperapi' wo'o bona nukeni-ka-kuwo baju lengi' -ku, to kubahaka hi ngata Troas hi tomi Karpus. Keni wo'o buku-ku to hi retu. To kuparaluu mpu'u, buku to rababehi ngkai kuliba.
13The cloak that I left at Troas with Carpus, bring when thou comest, and the books, especially the parchments.
15Mo'inga' -ko hi Aleksander, topante mpobabehi rewa ngkai ngkala tetui, apa' na'ewa mpu'u-ta bona neo' ria tauna to mpopangala' tudui' -ta. Wori' gau' -na to dada'a hi aku'. Pue' moto mpai' mpohiwili-ki gau' -na.
14Alexander the coppersmith did me much evil: the Lord will render to him according to his works:
16Lomo' rapohurai kara-kara-ku wengi, uma-pi haduaa to tono' hi aku'. Rapalahii omea-ama-kuna. Mekakae-a hi Pue' bona neo' napehawai kehi-ra toe.
15of whom do thou also beware; for he greatly withstood our words.
17Aga nau' uma ria doo-ku to mpodohei-a, Pue' tida oa' mpodohei-a. Nawai' -a karohoa mpohudu bago-ku mpopalele Kareba Lompe', bona hawe'ea tauna to bela-ra to Yahudi ma'ala mpo'epe. Ka'omea-na, nabahaka-a ngkai pale-ra to doko' mpopatehi-a.
16At my first defence no one took my part, but all forsook me: may it not be laid to their account.
18Wae wo'o mpai' to jadi' tempo toi. Nau' ba rapatehi mpu'u-a mpai', Pue' bate mpobahaka-a ngkai hawe'ea to dada'a, pai' nakeni-a mesua' hi rala Kamagaua' -na hi suruga hante uma kura' napa-napa. Tapomobohe-mi hanga' -na duu' kahae-hae-na. Amin!
17But the Lord stood by me, and strengthened me; that through me the message might me fully proclaimed, and that all the Gentiles might hear: and I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion.
19Parata-ka-kuwo tabe-ku hi Priska pai' Akwila, pai' hi ompi' -na Onesiforus.
18The Lord will deliver me from every evil work, and will save me unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom [be] the glory forever and ever. Amen.
20Erastus, ria-i-pidi hi ngata Korintus. Trofimus kupalahii hi Miletus apa' peda' -i.
19Salute Prisca and Aquila, and the house of Onesiphorus.
21Nupesahui-e' tumai kako'ia-na rata tempo lengi'! Wori' tabe ngkai hira' Ebulus, Pudes, Linus pai' Klaudia, pai' ngkai hawe'ea ompi' hampepangalaa' to hi rehe'i.
20Erastus remained at Corinth: but Trophimus I left at Miletus sick.
22Pue' mpodohei-ko, Timotius. Pai' Pue' mpogane' -koi omea. Hudu rei.
21Give diligence to come before winter. Eubulus saluteth thee, and Pudens, and Linus, and Claudia, and all the brethren.
22The Lord be with thy spirit. Grace be with you.
