2

1Timpaliu ro'eo ngkai toe, ria susa' poncamokoa hi ngata Kana hi tana' Galilea. Tina-na Yesus mpokaralai susa' toe.
1And the third day there was a marriage in Cana of Galilee; and the mother of Jesus was there:
2Pai' Yesus hante ana'guru-na, rakio' wo'o-ra-rawo ngkaralai susa' toe.
2and Jesus also was bidden, and his disciples, to the marriage.
3Bula-ra mosusa' toe, naka'otii-ramo ue anggur. Tina-na Yesus mpo'uli' -ki Yesus: "Naka'otii-ra ue anggur."
3And when the wine failed, the mother of Jesus saith unto him, They have no wine.
4Na'uli' Yesus: "Napa pai' nu'uli' -ka hewa tetu-e, Ina'? Ko'ia rata tempo-na kupopo'incai-ra kahema-ku."
4And Jesus saith unto her, Woman, what have I to do with thee? mine hour is not yet come.
5Ngkai ree, na'uli' tina-na Yesus mpo'uli' -raka topobago: "Napa-napa mpai' to nahubui-kokoi Yesus, nibabehi-e'!"
5His mother saith unto the servants, Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it.
6Hi tomi toe, ria ono meha' pontu'ua ue to rababehi ngkai watu. Pontu'ua ue toe rapake' rapontu'ui ue pobohoi' witi' pai' pale, ntuku' ada-ra to Yahudi. Kawori' ihi' -na, nte ha'atu lite butu meha' -na.
6Now there were six waterpots of stone set there after the Jews' manner of purifying, containing two or three firkins apiece.
7Na'uli' Yesus mpo'uli' -raka topobago toera: "Ihii' pontu'ua ue tetu lau hante ue." Ra'ihii' mpu'u-mi rapoponu'.
7Jesus saith unto them, Fill the waterpots with water. And they filled them up to the brim.
8Oti toe, na'uli' wo'o-miraka: "Tolou' hangkedi', keni hilou hi tompohawai' susa'." Ratolou' mpu'u-mi pai' rakeni hilou hi topohawa'.
8And he saith unto them, Draw out now, and bear unto the ruler of the feast. And they bare it.
9Topohawa' toei mpemita ue to rakeni-ki. Bela-pi ue nonto, mobali' -mi mewali ue anggur. Aga uma-hawo na'incai kangkaiapa-na, muntu' topobago-wadi to mpo'inca. Ka'oti-na mpemita ue anggur toe, mekio' -i mpokio' topemua',
9And when the ruler of the feast tasted the water now become wine, and knew not whence it was (but the servants that had drawn the water knew), the ruler of the feast calleth the bridegroom,
10pai' na'uli' -ki: "Kabiasaa-ta-hawo, anggur to motomo' -di-hawo to ri'ulu ratua-raka torata. Ane oha-ra-damo nginu, pai' lako' ratua to uma ncako motomo'. Hiaa' iko-kona mpotalaa anggur to motomo', pai' lako' tempo toi-di nupewai' ratua!"
10and saith unto him, Every man setteth on first the good wine; and when [men] have drunk freely, [then] that which is worse: thou hast kept the good wine until now.
11Yesus mpobabehi tanda mekoncehi toe hi ngata Kana hi tana' Galilea. Toe-mi tanda mekoncehi to lomo' -na to nababehi. Hante tanda toe napopohiloi kabaraka' -na, pai' ana'guru-na mepangala' hi Hi'a.
11This beginning of his signs did Jesus in Cana of Galilee, and manifested his glory; and his disciples believed on him.
12Hudu susa' toe, hilou-imi hi ngata Kapernaum hante tina-na, ompi' -na pai' ana'guru-na. Mo'oha' hi ree-ramo ba hangkuja mengi.
12After this he went down to Capernaum, he, and his mother, and [his] brethren, and his disciples; and there they abode not many days.
13Neo' rata-mi tempo-na eo bohe agama Yahudi to rahanga' Eo Paskah. Jadi', hilou-imi Yesus hi Yerusalem mpokaralai eo bohe toe.
13And the passover of the Jews was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.
14Hi berewe Tomi Alata'ala, mpohilo-i tauna to mpobalu' japi, bima pai' danci mangkebodo. Ria wo'o tauna to mposula' doi mohura hi ree.
14And he found in the temple those that sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the changers of money sitting:
15Yesus mpobabehi poweba' ngkai koloro, pai' nawuso omea-ra ngkai berewe Tomi Alata'ala, hante bima pai' japi-ra. Meja' -ra toposula' doi nabilingko, alaa-na pahawu' -hawu' -mi doi-ra.
15and he made a scourge of cords, and cast all out of the temple, both the sheep and the oxen; and he poured out the changers' money, and overthrew their tables;
16Na'uli' -raka topobabalu' danci mangkebodo: "Koi', keni omea tetu lau hilou hi mali-na! Tomi Tuama-ku neo' niponcawa tomi pobabalua'!"
16and to them that sold the doves he said, Take these things hence; make not my Father's house a house of merchandise.
17Ana'guru-na mpokiwoi lolita Buku Tomoroli' to mpo'uli' hewa tohe'i: "Dede' nono-ku, apa' kupe'ahi' Tomi-nu Pue'."
17His disciples remembered that it was written, Zeal for thy house shall eat me up.
18Ngkai ree, topoparenta to Yahudi mpo'uli' -ki Yesus: "Napa ntoto-kowo huraa-nu mpobabehi tetu-e? Ane ria mpu'u huraa-nu, popohiloi-kai tanda mekoncehi!"
18The Jews therefore answered and said unto him, What sign showest thou unto us, seeing that thou doest these things?
19Na'uli' Yesus: "Gero-mi-hana Tomi Alata'ala toi, nihilo moto mpai' kadupa' -na rala-na tolu eo kuwangu nculii'."
19Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.
20Konce-ra topoparenta to Yahudi, ra'uli': "Beiwa!? Tomi Alata'ala toi rawangu rala-na opo' mpulu' ono mpae, hiaa' nu'uli' -kona nuwangu nculii' rala-na tolu eo-wadi?"
20The Jews therefore said, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou raise it up in three days?
21Api' woto-nadi to nawalatu Yesus, mpokahangai' Tomi Alata'ala-e.
21But he spake of the temple of his body.
22Ngkabokoa' -na ngkai toe, katuwu' -na nculii' mpu'u-mi Yesus, ana'guru-na mpokiwoi lolita-na toe-e. Ngkai ree rapangala' -mi napa to te'uki' hi rala Buku Tomoroli' pai' napa to na'uli' Yesus.
22When therefore he was raised from the dead, his disciples remembered that he spake this; and they believed the scripture, and the word which Jesus had said.
23Bula-na Yesus hi Yerusalem mpokaralai Eo Paskah toe, wori' tauna to mepangala' hi Hi'a, apa' rahilo tanda-tanda mekoncehi to nababehi.
23Now when he was in Jerusalem at the passover, during the feast, many believed on his name, beholding his signs which he did.
24Aga Yesus uma mpangala' -ra, apa' na'inca nono hawe'ea tauna.
24But Jesus did not trust himself unto them, for that he knew all men,
25Uma mingki' kahadua-na to mpo'uli' -ki kabeiwa-na manusia', apa' na'inca ami' napa to hi rala nono manusia'.
25and because he needed not that any one should bear witness concerning man; for he himself knew what was in man.
