1Hi eo Mingku mepupulo ngkii, mobee-bengi-pidi, Maria Magdalena hilou hi daeo'. Rata hi ria, nahilo-hawo, watu po'unca-nae tederu' -mi ngkai wobo' daeo'.
1Now on the first [day] of the week cometh Mary Magdalene early, while it was yet dark, unto the tomb, and seeth the stone taken away from the tomb.
2Pokeno-nami hilou hi Simon Petrus pai' ana'guru to hadua to nape'ahi' Yesus, na'uli' -raka: "Ra'ala' -mi-hana woto Pue' ngkai daeo', pai' uma ki'incai hiapa karatu'ua-na!"
2She runneth therefore, and cometh to Simon Peter, and to the other disciple whom Jesus loved, and saith unto them, They have taken away the Lord out of the tomb, and we know not where they have laid him.
3Hilou-ramo Petrus hante ana'guru to hadua toei hi daeo'.
3Peter therefore went forth, and the other disciple, and they went toward the tomb.
4Roduaa-ra mokeno, aga meliu kagasi-na ana'guru to hadua ngkai Petrus, toe pai' ri'ulu-i-hana rata hi daeo'.
4And they ran both together: and the other disciple outran Peter, and came first to the tomb;
5Mengkabungku' -i mpelongi' hi rala-na, aga uma-i ulu mesua'. Nahilo-hawo kain to rahompui' -ki Yesus bate-na moto hi ree.
5and stooping and looking in, he seeth the linen cloths lying; yet entered he not in.
6Simon Petrus rata ngkabokoa', kaliliu mesua'. Nahilo wo'o-hawo kain hompu' -na hi ree.
6Simon Peter therefore also cometh, following him, and entered into the tomb; and he beholdeth the linen cloths lying,
7Aga kain to rapopohoo' -ki woo' -na Yesus, telulu pai' tetu'u ntani'.
7and the napkin, that was upon his head, not lying with the linen cloths, but rolled up in a place by itself.
8Ngkai ree, ana'guru to hadua, to ri'ulu rata hi daeo' we'i, mesua' wo'o-imi-hawo mpohilo, pai' napangala' -mi.
8Then entered in therefore the other disciple also, who came first to the tomb, and he saw, and believed.
9Duu' rata hi eo toe, ko'ia oa' rapaha napa to te'uki' hi rala Buku Tomoroli' owi to mpo'uli': Yesus kana tuwu' nculii'.
9For as yet they knew not the scripture, that he must rise from the dead.
10Oti toe, nculii' -ramo ana'guru to rodua toera hilou hi tomi-ra.
10So the disciples went away again unto their own home.
11Aga Maria Magdalena mokore hi mali daeo', ntora geo'. Bula-na geo', mengkabungku' -i melongi' hi rala daeo'.
11But Mary was standing without at the tomb weeping: so, as she wept, she stooped and looked into the tomb;
12Nahilo-hawo rodua mala'eka, moheai to bula, mohura-ra hi karatu'ua woto-na Yesus wengi, hadua tono' hi woo' -na, to hadua tono' hi witi' -na.
12and she beholdeth two angels in white sitting, one at the head, and one at the feet, where the body of Jesus had lain.
13Mepekune' mala'eka toera hi Maria ra'uli': "Napa pai' geo' -ko?" Na'uli' Maria: "Apa' ra'ala' -imi Pue' -ku ngkai rei, pai' uma ku'incai hiapa karatu'ua-na."
13And they say unto her, Woman, why weepest thou? She saith unto them, Because they have taken away my Lord, and I know not where they have laid him.
14Ngkai ree, me'ili' -i Maria, nahilo-hawo hadua tauna mokore hi tilingkuria-na. Ntaa' Yesus-midi-hana, aga uma na'incai Kayesus-na.
14When she had thus said, she turned herself back, and beholdeth Jesus standing, and knew not that it was Jesus.
15Mepekune' Yesus hi Maria: "Napa pai' geo' -ko totina? Hema to nupali'?" Na'uli' -hawo we'i Maria, pue' pampa moto to nahilo toe-e. Toe pai' na'uli' -ki: "Ane Iko Tuama to mpo'ala' woto-nae, tudo' -ka-kuwo hiapa pontu'ua-nu, bona ku'ala' -i."
15Jesus saith unto her, Woman, why weepest thou? whom seekest thou? She, supposing him to be the gardener, saith unto him, Sir, if thou hast borne him hence, tell me where thou hast laid him, and I will take him away.
16Na'uli' Yesus: "Maria." Pe'ili' -nami Maria hi Yesus, pai' na'uli' hi rala basa Yahudi: "Rabuni!" (batua-na: "Guru").
16Jesus saith unto her, Mary. She turneth herself, and saith unto him in Hebrew, Rabboni; which is to say, Teacher.
17Na'uli' Yesus mpo'uli' -ki Maria: "Neo' -a ulu nukamu, apa' ko'ia-a mengkahe' hilou hi Tuama-ku. Hilou-ko hi ompi' -ku, uli' -raka kahilou-ku hi Tuama-ku bo Tuama-ni, Alata'ala-ku bo Alata'ala-ni."
17Jesus saith to her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended unto the Father: but go unto my brethren, and say to them, I ascend unto my Father and your Father, and my God and your God.
18Kahilou-nami Maria Magdalena mpohirua' -raka ana'guru-na Yesus pai' na'uli': "Kuhilo-imi-kuna Pue'!" Pai' naparata-raka hawe'ea to na'uli' Yesus.
18Mary Magdalene cometh and telleth the disciples, I have seen the Lord; and [that] he had said these things unto her.
19Ngkabengia eo Mingku toe, ana'guru-na Yesus morumpu hi tomi to tehohoki wobo' -na, apa' mpoka'eka' -ra topoparenta to Yahudi. Muu-mule' rata-imi Yesus mokore hi laintongo' -ra, pai' natabe-ra, na'uli': "Kalompea' rata hi koi'."
19When therefore it was evening, on that day, the first [day] of the week, and when the doors were shut where the disciples were, for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in the midst, and saith unto them, Peace [be] unto you.
20Oti toe, natudo' -miraka pale pai' lumpeha-na. Uma-pi mowo kagoe' -ra mpohilo Pue' -ra.
20And when he had said this, he showed unto them his hands and his side. The disciples therefore were glad, when they saw the Lord.
21Na'uli' tena Yesus: "Kalompea' rata hi koi'. Hewa Tuama-ku mposuro-a, wae wo'o Aku' mposuro-koi."
21Jesus therefore said to them again, Peace [be] unto you: as the Father hath sent me, even so send I you.
22Oti toe, natuwui' -ramo hante inoha' -na pai' na'uli': "Doa-mokoi Inoha' Tomoroli'.
22And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Spirit:
23Hema-hema to ni'ampungi jeko' -ra, Alata'ala to mpo'ampungi-ra. Ane uma ni'ampungi jeko' -ra, Alata'ala uma mpo'ampungi-ra."
23whose soever sins ye forgive, they are forgiven unto them; whose soever [sins] ye retain, they are retained.
24Tomas, hadua ngkai to hampulu' rodua ana'guru Yesus, to ra'atu Ntomoropa', uma-i-hana ria hante doo-na nto'u karata-na Yesus toe.
24But Thomas, one of the twelve, called Didymus, was not with them when Jesus came.
25Toe pai' doo-na ntora mpo'uli' -ki: "Kihilo-imi-kaina Pue'!" Na'uli' Tomas: "Ane ko'ia kuhiloi pakua' to hi pale-na pai' ku'unco' karawe-ku hi pakua' toe, pai' ane ko'ia ku'unco' pale-ku hi jaloa to hi lumpeha-na, bate uma kupangala'."
25The other disciples therefore said unto him, We have seen the Lord. But he said unto them, Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my hand into his side, I will not believe.
26Eo Mingku boko', morumpu wo'o-ramo ana'guru-na hi rala tomi. Nto'u toe, Tomas, ria wo'o-imi-hawo dohe-ra. Tehohoki omea wobo', aga nau' wae, muu-mule' rata-imi Yesus mokore hi laintongo' -ra, na'uli' -raka: "Kalompea' rata hi koi'."
26And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them. Jesus cometh, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace [be] unto you.
27Oti toe, na'uli' mpo'uli' -ki Tomas: "Tu'u-mi karawe-nu hi rei, pai' hilo pakua' to hi pale-ku. Mai pale-nu, nupe'unco' hi rala jaloa to hi lumpeha-ku. Neo' -pi morara' nono-nu. Pangala' -mi!"
27Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and see my hands; and reach [hither] thy hand, and put it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing.
28Na'uli' Tomas: "Pue' -ku! Alata'ala-ku!"
28Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God.
29Na'uli' Yesus mpo'uli' -ki: "Mepangala' -ko apa' nuhilo-ama. Marasi' -ra tauna to mepangala' hi Aku', nau' ko'ia-a rahiloi."
29Jesus saith unto him, Because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed [are] they that have not seen, and [yet] have believed.
30Wori' -pidi tanda mekoncehi to nababehi Yesus pai' to rasabii' ana'guru-na, aga uma te'uki' omea hi rala sura toi.
30Many other signs therefore did Jesus in the presence of the disciples, which are not written in this book:
31Aga napa to ku'uki' hi rehe'i, ku'uki' bona nipangala' Kayesus-na Magau' Topetolo', Ana' Alata'ala, pai' bona mporata-koi katuwua' to lompe' duu' kahae-hae-na ngkai pepangala' -ni hi Hi'a.
31but these are written, that ye may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye may have life in his name.
