Luke

12

1Ngkai kamoncobu-ncobu-ra tauna to morumpu doko' mpohilo Yesus, mome'upi' -ra alaa-na momepopongko ngkawiti'. Nto'u toe, Yesus mpololitai ana'guru-na, na'uli': "Mo'inga' -inga' -koi hi ragi-ra to Parisi. Batua-na, neo' nituku' kehi-ra. Apa' hira' toe lompe' hi mali-na-wadi dada'a moto hi rala nono-ra.
1In the mean time, when the many thousands of the multitude were gathered together, insomuch that they trod one upon another, he began to say unto his disciples first of all, Beware ye of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy.
2Tapi' hawe'ea kehi-ra to tewunii' bate kahiloa mpai'. Pai' hawe'ea to hi rala nono-ra bate telohu mpai'.
2But there is nothing covered up, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known.
3Jadi', napa to ni'uli' hi bengi-na bate ralohu hi eo-na. Pai' napa to niwara' -ki doo hi rala tomi to tehohoki, bate ratolele hobo' hi rala ngata.
3Wherefore whatsoever ye have said in the darkness shall be heard in the light; and what ye have spoken in the ear in the inner chambers shall be proclaimed upon the housetops.
4"Ompi' -ompi', pe'epei lompe' lolita-ku: neo' -koi mpoka'eka' manusia' to doko' mpopatehi-koi, apa' hudu ree-wadi pakulea' -ra.
4And I say unto you my friends, Be not afraid of them that kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do.
5Sampale-di to kana nipoka'eka', Alata'ala. Apa' mokuasa-i mpatehi-koi, pai' mokuasa wo'o-i mpotadi-koi hi rala naraka. Mpu'u ku'uli' -kokoi, Hi'a-mi to kana nipoka'eka'.
5But I will warn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, who after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him.
6"Lima ma'a rone biasa-na rapobalu' nte rompepa' doi see-wadi. Aga nau' wae, uma ria hama'aa to uma nakiwoi Pue' Ala.
6Are not five sparrows sold for two pence? and not one of them is forgotten in the sight of God.
7Peliu-liu-nami koi'. Bangku' kawori' wuluwoo' -ni nabila' pai' na'inca omea. Jadi' neo' -koi me'eka'. Meliu-pi pompewili' -na Alata'ala hi koi' ngkai pompewili' -na rone to wori'.
7But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not: ye are of more value than many sparrows.
8"Pe'epei lompe' lolita-ku: hema to mpangaku' hi doo kahi'a-na topetuku' -ku, hi'a wo'o mpai' kupangaku' hi nyanyoa hawe'ea mala'eka Alata'ala, ku'uli': `Tau toei topetuku' -ku.'
8And I say unto you, Every one who shall confess me before men, him shall the Son of man also confess before the angels of God:
9Aga hema to mposapu-a hi doo, hi'a wo'o mpai' kusapu hi nyanyoa mala'eka Alata'ala, ku'uli': `Bela-i topetuku' -ku.'
9but he that denieth me in the presence of men shall be denied in the presence of the angels of God.
10"Tauna to ncapuaka-a, Aku' Ana' Manusia', ma'ala-pidi te'ampungi sala' -na. Aga tauna to mporuge' Inoha' Tomoroli', uma-pi ma'ala ampungia sala' -na.
10And every one who shall speak a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but unto him that blasphemeth against the Holy Spirit it shall not be forgiven.
11"Ane rakeni-koi hi tomi posampayaa pai' rapakilu-koi hi topohura agama ba topoparenta sabana petuku' -ni hi Aku', neo' -koi me'eka' ba beiwa mpai' tompoi' -ni ba napa mpai' to kana ni'uli'.
11And when they bring you before the synagogues, and the rulers, and the authorities, be not anxious how or what ye shall answer, or what ye shall say:
12Apa' hinto'u toe mpai', Inoha' Tomoroli' moto mpotudui' -koi napa to kana ni'uli'."
12for the Holy Spirit shall teach you in that very hour what ye ought to say.
13Ria hadua ngkai laintongo' ntodea mpo'uli' -ki Yesus: "Guru, uli' -ki ompi' -ku bona nawai' -a-kuwo bagia-ku ngkai sosora totu'a-kai."
13And one out of the multitude said unto him, Teacher, bid my brother divide the inheritance with me.
14Na'uli' Yesus: "Ompi', hema to mpo'ongko' -a jadi' topohura to mpobagi-kokoi sosora totu'a-ni?"
14But he said unto him, Man, who made me a judge or a divider over you?
15Oti toe na'uli' -raka tauna to wori': "Mo'inga' -inga' -koi pai' pelompehi, bona neo' -koi mpokahina ba apa-apa rewa dunia'. Apa' nau' wori' rewa-ta, uma ngkai rewa toe pai' lompe' tuwu' -ta."
15And he said unto them, Take heed, and keep yourselves from all covetousness: for a man's life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth.
16Ngkai ree, Yesus mpololitai-ra hante hanyala lolita rapa', na'uli': "Ria hadua topo'ua' to tebua' lompe' -ki polia' -na.
16And he spake a parable unto them, saying, The ground of a certain rich man brought forth plentifully:
17Na'uli' -mi hi rala nono-na: `Napa-le' to kubabehi-e? Uma-pi liu poropo' -ku kupontimamahii wua' polia' -ku.
17and he reasoned within himself, saying, What shall I do, because I have not where to bestow my fruits?
18Aa, kurata reke! Kukero lau-di poropo' -ku, pai' kuwangu to meliu kabohe-na, bona hi retu-mi mpai' pontimamahia hawe'ea pae-ku pai' rewa-ku.
18And he said, This will I do: I will pull down my barns, and build greater; and there will I bestow all my grain and my goods.
19Oti toe mpai', uma-apa mobago, apa' wori' -mi timamahia-ku, hono' nte ba hangkuja mpae kupake'. Wae-pi, ntora-ama, ngkoni', nginu, pai' ntora goe' -a-damo!'
19And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, be merry.
20"Ntaa' we'i Alata'ala mpo'uli' -ki tauna toei: `He towojo! Bengi toe mpai' lau, ra'alai' -moko inoha' -nu. Jadi', hawe'ea to nurumpu tetu, hema-mi mpai' pue' -na?'
20But God said unto him, Thou foolish one, this night is thy soul required of thee; and the things which thou hast prepared, whose shall they be?
21"Wae-mi katuwu' tauna to doko' mporumpu ka'uaa' hi dunia', tapi' mpe'ahii' tuwu' -ra hi poncilo Alata'ala."
21So is he that layeth up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God.
22Na'uli' Yesus mpo'uli' -raka ana'guru-na: "Toe pai' ku'uli' -kokoi, neo' -koi sese' mpopekiri tuwu' -ni. Neo' ni'uli': `Napa-le' to takoni' -e? Napa-le' to tapohea-e?'
22And he said unto his disciples, Therefore I say unto you, Be not anxious for [your] life, what ye shall eat; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on.
23Apa' katuwu' -ni meliu ngkai pongkoni' pai' pohea.
23For the life is more than the food, and the body than the raiment.
24Penonoi-dile danci kaa' -e. Uma-ra molia', uma-ra mepae, uma ria poropo' -ra ba wilulu-ra. Aga nau' wae, Alata'ala mpowai' moto-ra pongkoni'. Peliu-liu-nami koi', apa' hi poncilo Alata'ala meliu tuwu' -ni ngkai katuwu' danci, pai' meliu pompewili' -na hi koi' ngkai pompewili' -na hi danci.
24Consider the ravens, that they sow not, neither reap; which have no store-chamber nor barn; and God feedeth them: of how much more value are ye than the birds!
25Napa wo'o kalaua-na wori' rahi pekiri-ni? Apa' nau' sese' ncuu-ta mpopekiri, uma-ta bisa mpodonihii umuru-ta nau' kampa' hamengi.
25And which of you by being anxious can add a cubit unto the measure of his life?
26Jadi', ane to kedi' toe uma nipakulei' mpobabehi, napa pai' wori' rahi pekiri-ni?
26If then ye are not able to do even that which is least, why are ye anxious concerning the rest?
27Penonoi-dile katuwu' wunga-e.
27Consider the lilies, how they grow: they toil not, neither do they spin; yet I say unto you, Even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
28Kowo' hi papada tuwu' eo toe lau, mepulo rasuwe oti. Aga nau' wae, Alata'ala mpakancola moto kowo' toe. Peliu-liu-nami koi'! Meliu pompewili' Alata'ala hi koi'. Jadi', napa pai' uma nipangala' pompewili' -nae?
28But if God doth so clothe the grass in the field, which to-day is, and to-morrow is cast into the oven; how much more [shall he clothe] you, O ye of little faith?
29Jadi' neo' -koi sese' rahi mpenonoi napa to nikoni' ba napa to ni'inu. Neo' -koi me'eka'.
29And seek not ye what ye shall eat, and what ye shall drink, neither be ye of doubtful mind.
30Hawe'ea tetu lau to ntora rapali' tauna to uma mpo'incai Alata'ala. Hiaa' Tuama-ni hi suruga mpo'inca kaparaluua-ni.
30For all these things do the nations of the world seek after: but your Father knoweth that ye have need of these things.
31Kana mengkoru-ta hi Alata'ala bona Hi'a jadi' Magau' -ta. Ane toe tababehi, to ntani' -ntani' -na nawai' moto-ta mpai'.
31Yet seek ye his kingdom, and these things shall be added unto you.
32"Koi' to mpotuku' -a, uma-koi hangkuja-na. Aga nau' wae, neo' -koi me'eka'. Apa' Alata'ala Tuama-ni mpopelihi-mokoi ngkai kabula rala-na, napajadi' -koi ntodea-na hi rala Kamagaua' -na.
32Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom.
33Toe pai' ku'uli', pobalu' -mi rewa-ni, pai' oli-na wai' -raka tokabu. Babehi-mokoi karepe' to uma bisa moheu'. Batua-na, babehi kehi to lompe'. Apa' kehi to lompe' toe ma'ala rarapai' -ki rewa to nitimamahi hi suruga, to uma ria karontoa-na, apa' uma ria to mpanako pai' uma ria anutuwu' to mposerohi.
33Sell that which ye have, and give alms; make for yourselves purses which wax not old, a treasure in the heavens that faileth not, where no thief draweth near, neither moth destroyeth.
34Apa' hiapa pontimamahia rewa-ta, retu wo'o nono-ta.
34For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
36"Neo' -koi lempe', mo'inga' -inga' oa' -koi mpopea karata-ku. Agina-koi hewa batua to mpopea karata-na maradika-ra ngkai posusaa' poncamokoa. Batua toera, sadia-mi pohea-ra, pai' palita-ra rapobaa ncuu, bona ane rata-ipi mpai' maradika-ra pai' -i mpopebea wobo', kaliliu rabea-ki.
35Let your loins be girded about, and your lamps burning;
37Morasi' batua to narata maradika-ra bula-ra mojaga pai' mpopea karata-na. Apa' maradika toei mpai' mpehoo' abe' hi hope' -na, napopohura-ra pai' natonui-ra.
36and be ye yourselves like unto men looking for their lord, when he shall return from the marriage feast; that, when he cometh and knocketh, they may straightway open unto him.
38Morasi' mpu'u-ra batua to narata maradika-ra rodo moto-ra mpopea-i, nau' mentongo' bengi ba paia-na liu mentongo' bengi.
37Blessed are those servants, whom the lord when he cometh shall find watching: verily I say unto you, that he shall gird himself, and make them sit down to meat, and shall come and serve them.
39"Poinono lolita rapa' -ku toi: Ane na'inca ami' -mi pue' tomi jaa hangkuja topanako rata, bate mojaga-i bona neo' -ra mesua'.
38And if he shall come in the second watch, and if in the third, and find [them] so blessed are those [servants].
40Hewa toe wo'o kana rodo ami' -mokoi mpopea-a, apa' uma ni'incai tempo karata-ku Aku' Ana' Manusia'."
39But know this, that if the master of the house had known in what hour the thief was coming, he would have watched, and not have left his house to be broken through.
41Napekune' Petrus hi Yesus: "Pue', ba hi kai' -wadi lolita rapa' tetu-e, ba hi ntodea wo'o-di?"
40Be ye also ready: for in an hour that ye think not the Son of man cometh.
42Na'uli' Pue': "Rapa' -na ria hadua batua to monoto nono-na pai' to tida mpobago bago maradika-na. Batua toei na'ongko' maradika-na jadi' topohawa' to mpohawai' batua ntani' -na pai' mpobagi-raka pongkoni' -ra butu eo-na.
41And Peter said, Lord, speakest thou this parable unto us, or even unto all?
43Uma mowo kamorasi' -na ane maradika-na rata nculii' ngkai pomakoa' -na pai' mporata-i bula-na mpobago bago-na.
42And the Lord said, Who then is the faithful and wise steward, whom his lord shall set over his household, to give them their portion of food in due season?
44Mpu'u ku'uli' -kokoi, maradika-na mpo'ongko' -i pai' mpowai' -i kuasa mpewili' hawe'ea ka'uaa' -na.
43Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.
45Aga silaka mpai' batua to mpo'uli': `Uma-ile sohi' rata maradika-e.' Natepu'u-mi mpoweba' hingka batua-na ba tobine ba tomane, pai' -i ntora ngkoni' pai' nginu duu' -na palangu-langu.
44Of a truth I say unto you, that he will set him over all that he hath.
46Ntaa' we'i, bula-na lempe' moto hewa toe, muu-mule' rata-mi maradika-na hi eo pai' hi jaa to uma na'incai. Batua toei raweba' ntarurua' pai' rapetadi hi mali-na, raponcawa tauna to uma mepangala' hi Alata'ala.
45But if that servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming; and shall begin to beat the menservants and the maidservants, and to eat and drink, and to be drunken;
47"Batua to mpo'inca moto konoa maradika-na, tapi' uma-i mo'inga' -inga' pai' uma nababehi konoa maradika-na, batua toei bate raweba' mperegea.
46the lord of that servant shall come in a day when he expecteth not, and in an hour when he knoweth not, and shall cut him asunder, and appoint his portion with the unfaithful.
48Aga batua to uma-hawo mpo'incai konoa maradika-na, pai' -i mpobabehi to natao raweba' -ki, raweba' moto-i, aga huka' -na-wadi. Apa' hema to rawai' wori', wori' wo'o to ratuntu' ngkai hi'a. Hema to ratonui wori', rapomperapii' wori' wo'o-i.
47And that servant, who knew his lord's will, and made not ready, nor did according to his will, shall be beaten with many [stripes];
49"Katumai-ku toi, tumai mpobaa apu hi dunia'. Pai' konoa-ku bona apu toe sohi' rapobaa-mi.
48but he that knew not, and did things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few [stripes]. And to whomsoever much is given, of him shall much be required: and to whom they commit much, of him will they ask the more.
50Ria-pidi pontodohakaa to kana kutodohaka, pai' uma oa' rodo nono-ku ane pontodohakaa toe ko'ia madupa'.
49I came to cast fire upon the earth; and what do I desire, if it is already kindled?
51Ha ni'uli' -koina katumai-ku toi, tumai mpopohintuwu' tauna? Uma-e'! Katumai-ku toi, tumai mpoposisala tauna.
50But I have a baptism to be baptized with; and how am I straitened till it be accomplished!
52Ntepu'u ngkai tempo toi, tau hantina to nte lima rala-na hantomi mosisala: tolu hamali, rodua hamali.
51Think ye that I am come to give peace in the earth? I tell you, Nay; but rather division:
53To tuama mpo'ewa ana' -na tomane, ana' tomane mpo'ewa tuama-na. To tina mpo'ewa ana' -na tobine, pai' ana' tobine mpo'ewa tina-na. To piniana mpo'ewa minia-na, pai' to minia mpo'ewa piniana-na."
52for there shall be from henceforth five in one house divided, three against two, and two against three.
54Na'uli' wo'o-mi Yesus hi tauna to wori': "Ane nihilo limu' mehupa' tono' hi kasoloa, ni'uli' udaa mpai'. Udaa mpu'u.
53They shall be divided, father against son, and son against father; mother against daughter, and daughter against her mother; mother in law against her daughter in law, and daughter in law against her mother in law.
55Ane mewui ngolu' ngkai tono' selatan, ni'uli' mara eo mpai', pai' bate wae mpu'u.
54And he said to the multitudes also, When ye see a cloud rising in the west, straightway ye say, There cometh a shower; and so it cometh to pass.
56He koi' to lompe' hi mali-na-wadi! Ni'inca lia mpelence tanda hi langi' pai' hi dunia'. Napa-di pai' uma ni'incai mpelence napa to nababehi Pue' Ala tempo toi!
55And when [ye see] a south wind blowing, ye say, There will be a scorching heat; and it cometh to pass.
57"Napa pai' uma oa' nipakanoto nono-ni pai' mpangaku' napa to monoa'!
56Ye hypocrites, ye know how to interpret the face of the earth and the heaven; but how is it that ye know not how to interpret this time?
58Ane rapa' -na ria to doko' mpakilu-ta hi totu'a ngata, agina tahuduwukui mpo'oti kara-kara-ta bula-ta hi lengko ohea-pidi. Nee-neo' mpai' nakeni mpu'u-ta hi topohura, pai' topohura mpai' mpotonu-ta hi polisi, pai' polisi mpopesua' -ta hi rala tarungku'.
57And why even of yourselves judge ye not what is right?
59Mpu'u ku'uli': uma-tapa tebahaka ngkai rala tarungku' ane da koo-ko'ia oti tabayari waya' -ta."
58For as thou art going with thine adversary before the magistrate, on the way give diligence to be quit of him; lest haply he drag thee unto the judge, and the judge shall deliver thee to the officer, and the officer shall cast thee into prison.
59I say unto thee, Thou shalt by no means come out thence, till thou have paid the very last mite.
