1Eo Mingku mepupulo ngkii, tobine toera hilou hi daeo' mpokeni anu mohonga to oti-mi raporodo.
1But on the first day of the week, at early dawn, they came unto the tomb, bringing the spices which they had prepared.
2Rata hi ria, rahilo-rawo watu po'unca-na tederu' -mi.
2And they found the stone rolled away from the tomb.
3Pesua' -rami hi rala daeo', aga uma raruai' woto-na Pue' Yesus.
3And they entered in, and found not the body of the Lord Jesus.
4Bula-ra mokore nakeni ka'ingu' -ra, muu-mule' mehupa' rodua tomane to moheai meringkila' mokore hi ncori-ra.
4And it came to pass, while they were perplexed thereabout, behold, two men stood by them in dazzling apparel:
5Wulunga-ramo tobine toera, pai' -ra motumpa hi tana'. Ra'uli' to rodua toera mpo'uli' -raka: "Napa pai' nipali' tauna to tuwu' hi olo' tomate?
5and as they were affrighted and bowed down their faces to the earth, they said unto them, Why seek ye the living among the dead?
6Uma-ipi ria hi rehe'i. Tuwu' nculii' -imi! Kiwoi-dile napa to na'uli' -kokoi wengi hi Galilea-e.
6He is not here, but is risen: remember how he spake unto you when he was yet in Galilee,
7Na'uli': Ana' Manusia' kana ratonu hi tauna to dada'a bona raparika', aga hi eo katolu-na tuwu' nculii' -i."
7saying that the Son of man must be delivered up into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.
8Ngkai ree, rakiwoi mpu'u-mi lolita Yesus.
8And they remembered his words,
9Ponculi' -rami ngkai daeo', pai' ratutura hawe'ea to jadi' toe hi ana'guru Yesus to hampulu' hadua pai' hi hawe'ea topetuku' ntani' -na.
9and returned from the tomb, and told all these things to the eleven, and to all the rest.
10Tobine toera, hira' Maria Magdalena, Yohana, pai' Maria tina Yakobus, pai' tobine ntani' -na to dohe-ra. Ratutura hawe'ea to jadi' toe hi suro Yesus.
10Now they were Mary Magdalene, and Joanna, and Mary the [mother] of James: and the other women with them told these things unto the apostles.
11Aga suro toera uma mpangalai' lolita-ra, ra'uli' lolita to ratamangko-wadi.
11And these words appeared in their sight as idle talk; and they disbelieved them.
12Hiaa' Petrus-hana, pokeno-nami hilou hi daeo'. Pengkabungku' -nami mpelongi' hi rala-na, nahilo muntu' hompu' -na-damo to hi ree. Oti toe, nculii' -imi hilou hi tomi-na, pai' ntora mokanono mpenonoi napa to jadi' tohe'e.
12But Peter arose, and ran unto the tomb; and stooping and looking in, he seeth the linen cloths by themselves; and he departed to his home, wondering at that which was come to pass.
13Hi eo toe wo'o, rodua topetuku' Yesus mako' hilou hi ngata Emaus, kalaa-na kira-kira hampulu' hakilo ngkai Yerusalem.
13And behold, two of them were going that very day to a village named Emmaus, which was threescore furlongs from Jerusalem.
14Bula-ra momako' toe, ntora mololita-ra, mpololita hawe'ea to lako' jadi'.
14And they communed with each other of all these things which had happened.
15Bula-ra mololita pai' momepekune', muu-mule' rata-imi Yesus mpomohui' -ra pai' mako' dohe-ra.
15And it came to pass, while they communed and questioned together, that Jesus himself drew near, and went with them.
16Pehilo moto-ra, aga ria anu to mpohilingai' -ra, alaa-na uma ra'incai Kayesus-na.
16But their eyes were holden that they should not know him.
17Na'uli' Yesus mpo'uli' -raka: "Napa-die to ntora nilolita ngkalako' -e?" Mentoda' -ra hante lence to monto'.
17And he said unto them, What communications are these that ye have one with another, as ye walk? And they stood still, looking sad.
18To hadua, to rahanga' Kleopas, mpekune' Yesus, na'uli': "Ha lako' rata-ko-tanoe hi Yerusalem-e, pai' uma-di nu'incai napa to jadi' ba hangkuja eo to liu toi-e?"
18And one of them, named Cleopas, answering said unto him, Dost thou alone sojourn in Jerusalem and not know the things which are come to pass there in these days?
19Na'uli' Yesus: "Napa-die?" Hampetompoi' -ra: "To jadi' hi Yesus to Nazaret-le! Hi'a nabi to mobaraka' hi pobago-na pai' pololita-na, lompe' hi poncilo Alata'ala pai' hi poncilo ntodea.
19And he said unto them, What things? And they said unto him, The things concerning Jesus the Nazarene, who was a prophet mighty in deed and word before God and all the people:
20Imam pangkeni pai' totu'a ngata-ta mpotonu-i hi topoparenta bona rahuku' mate. Oti toe, raparika' mpu'u-i.
20and how the chief priests and our rulers delivered him up to be condemned to death, and crucified him.
21Hiaa' haru' -mi-kaina nono-kai, apa' ki'uli' Hi'a-mi mpai' to mpobahaka-ta to Israel ngkai bali' -ta. Eo toe lau, eo katolu-nami ngkai karapatehia-na.
21But we hoped that it was he who should redeem Israel. Yea and besides all this, it is now the third day since these things came to pass.
22Hiaa' toe-e, ba hangkuja dua tobine doo-kai mpolahoi ta'i-kai, apa' hilou-ra hi daeo' -na mepupulo ngone,
22Moreover certain women of our company amazed us, having been early at the tomb;
23tapi' woto-na uma-pi raruai'. Nculii' -ramo ra'uli' -kakai kampohilo-ra mala'eka to mpo'uli' tuwu' nculii' -imi.
23and when they found not his body, they came, saying, that they had also seen a vision of angels, who said that he was alive.
24Ngkai ree, ba hangkuja dua doo-kai hilou hi daeo'. Rata hi ria, rahilo bate hewa to ra'uli' tobine toera. Aga Yesus uma rahiloi."
24And certain of them that were with us went to the tomb, and found it even so as the women had said: but him they saw not.
25Oti toe, Yesus mpo'uli' -raka: "Wojo mpu'u-koi! Uma oa' -tanoe niparasaya hawe'ea to ra'uli' nabi owi-e!
25And he said unto them, O foolish men, and slow of heart to believe in all that the prophets have spoken!
26Magau' Topetolo', bate kana mporata kaparia ncala' -i, pai' lako' mporata-i kabohe tuwu' -na."
26Behooved it not the Christ to suffer these things, and to enter into his glory?
27Ngkai ree, Yesus mpakanoto-raka hawe'ea to te'uki' hi rala Buku Tomoroli' to mpolowa woto-na, ntepu'u ngkai sura to na'uki' nabi Musa duu' rata hi hawe'ea sura nabi.
27And beginning from Moses and from all the prophets, he interpreted to them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself.
28Mohu' -mi ngata to ratoa', Yesus ntani' kaliliu-i.
28And they drew nigh unto the village, whither they were going: and he made as though he would go further.
29Ntaa' ratagi-idi, ra'uli' -ki: "Mehani-tamo ulu hi rehe'i! Ncimonou' -mi, neo' mobengi-mi." Jadi' mehani mpu'u-imi Yesus dohe-ra.
29And they constrained him, saying, Abide with us; for it is toward evening, and the day is now far spent. And he went in to abide with them.
30Mohura-ramo hangkaa-ngkania bona ngkoni'. Yesus mpo'ala' roti, naposampayai, napihe-pihe pai' natonu-miraka.
30And it came to pass, when he had sat down with them to meat, he took the bread and blessed; and breaking [it] he gave to them.
31Nto'u toe, lako' monoto-rada, pai' ra'inca Kayesus-na. Ngkai ree, hangaa mengkaronto-imi, uma-ipi rahiloi.
31And their eyes were opened, and they knew him; and he vanished out of their sight.
32Momepololitai-ramo, ra'uli': "Toe-tawo' pai' tuna nono-ta hi ohea-e we'i, bula-na mpololitai-ta pai' mpakanoto-taka ihi' Buku Tomoroli' -e!"
32And they said one to another, Was not our heart burning within us, while he spake to us in the way, while he opened to us the scriptures?
33Pe'ongko' -ra wo'o-mi nculii' hilou hi Yerusalem, mpohirua' -raka ana'guru Yesus to hampulu' hadua, to bula-ra morumpu hante doo-ra.
33And they rose up that very hour, and returned to Jerusalem, and found the eleven gathered together, and them that were with them,
34Ra'uli' to morumpu toera: "Makono mpu'u-di, katuwu' -na nculii' Pue' -e! Mehupa' -imi hi Simon!"
34saying, The Lord is risen indeed, and hath appeared to Simon.
35Jadi', to rodua to lako' rata toera mpotutura wo'o-mi-rawo napa to jadi' hi lengko ohea we'i, pai' kara'inca-na Yesus nto'u kampopihe-pihe-na roti.
35And they rehearsed the things [that happened] in the way, and how he was known of them in the breaking of the bread.
36Bula-ra mololita-pidi, muu-mule' mokore wo'o-imi Yesus hi laintongo' -ra, pai' -i mpotabe-ra, na'uli': "Kalompea' rata hi koi'."
36And as they spake these things, he himself stood in the midst of them, and saith unto them, Peace [be] unto you.
37Hakene-radile me'eka', apa' ra'uli' -rana mpohilo-ra kiu.
37But they were terrified and affrighted, and supposed that they beheld a spirit.
38Na'uli' Yesus mpo'uli' -raka: "Napa pai' me'eka' -koi pai' morara' nono-nie?
38And he said unto them, Why are ye troubled? and wherefore do questionings arise in your heart?
39Hilo-dile rari' to hi pale-ku pai' to hi witi' -kue. Aku' -mile toi-e! Ganga-a pai' petonoi, apa' ane rate-hana, uma-hawo ihia pai' wukua hewa to nihilo hi Aku' toi-e."
39See my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye behold me having.
40Oti toe, pai' napopohiloi-ramo pale pai' witi' -na.
40And when he had said this, he showed them his hands and his feet.
41And while they still disbelieved for joy, and wondered, he said unto them, Have ye here anything to eat?
42Ratonu-miki bau' uru to ratunu.
42And they gave him a piece of a broiled fish.
43Nadoa-mi pai' nakoni', bona rahilo kabela-na-hawo kiu.
43And he took it, and ate before them.
44Oti toe, na'uli' -miraka: "Toe-mile to ku'uli' -kokoie bula-ku dohe-ni-pidi. Butu nyala-na to mpolowa woto-ku to te'uki' hi rala sura to na'uki' nabi Musa pai' sura nabi-nabi pai' Buku Rona' Daud, hawe'ea-na kana madupa'."
44And he said unto them, These are my words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must needs be fulfilled, which are written in the law of Moses, and the prophets, and the psalms, concerning me.
45Oti toe, nanotohi nono-ra bona rapaha ihi' Buku Tomoroli'.
45Then opened he their mind, that they might understand the scriptures;
46Na'uli': "Hi rala Buku Tomoroli' te'uki': Aku' Magau' Topetolo' kana mporata kaparia pai' kana rapatehi, pai' hi eo katolu-na tuwu' nculii'.
46and he said unto them, Thus it is written, that the Christ should suffer, and rise again from the dead the third day;
47Pai' hi rala hanga' -ku Kareba Lompe' kana rapalele hi hawe'ea tauna, bona medea-ra ngkai jeko' -ra pai' Alata'ala mpo'ampungi-ra. Kareba toe kana rapalele hi humalili' dunia', ntepu'u ngkai Yerusalem.
47and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name unto all the nations, beginning from Jerusalem.
48Koi' -mile to jadi' sabi' ngkai hawe'ea tohe'e-e lau.
48Ye are witnesses of these things.
49"Pe'epei lompe': kupakatu moto mpai' Inoha' Tomoroli' tumai hi koi', hewa to najanci Tuama-ku. Aga kana nipopea ulu hi rala ngata toi, duu' -na baraka' ngkai Alata'ala mana'u tumai mporohoi-koi."
49And behold, I send forth the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city, until ye be clothed with power from on high.
50Oti toe, Yesus mpo'ema' -ra hilou hi mali ngata Yerusalem, mohu' hi ngata Betania. Na'ongko' pale-na pai' nagane' -ramo.
50And he led them out until [they were] over against Bethany: and he lifted up his hands, and blessed them.
51Bula-na mpogane' -ra toe, kate'oo-ongkoa' -imi mpogaa' -raka pai' hilou-imi hi suruga.
51And it came to pass, while he blessed them, he parted from them, and was carried up into heaven.
52Mowilingkudu-ramo mponyompa-i, pai' goe' lia nono-ra nculii' hilou hi Yerusalem.
52And they worshipped him, and returned to Jerusalem with great joy:
53Eo-eo-na tida-ra hi rala Tomi Alata'ala mpo'une' -une' Alata'ala.
53and were continually in the temple, blessing God.
