1Nto'u toe topoparenta hi Galilea, Herodes Antipas. Na'epe Herodes napa to nababehi Yesus.
1At that season Herod the tetrarch heard the report concerning Jesus,

2and said unto his servants, This is John the Baptist; he is risen from the dead; and therefore do these powers work in him.
4Hewa toi tutura kamate-na Yohanes Topeniu'. Magau' Herodes mpo'ago Herodias, tobine ompi' -na moto to rahanga' Filipus. Ngkai ree, Herodes mpopahawa' tantara-na mpohoko' Yohanes. Rahoko' mpu'u-imi, rahoo', pai' -i ratarungku'.
3For Herod had laid hold on John, and bound him, and put him in prison for the sake of Herodias, his brother Philip's wife.
5Kakono-na, Herodes doko' mpopatehi lau-imi, aga me'eka' -i mpoka'eka' ntodea, apa' ra'uli' ntodea, Yohanes toe hadua nabi.
4For John said unto him, It is not lawful for thee to have her.
6Ngkai ree, nto'u-na Herodes mpobabehi karamea mpokiwoi eo kaputua-na, ana' -na Herodias tobine modero' hi nyanyoa torata. Goe' lia-i Herodes mpohilo podero' -na.
5And when he would have put him to death, he feared the multitude, because they counted him as a prophet.
7Nakeni kagoe' -na rahi, mojanci pai' mosumpa-i hi toronaa toei, na'uli' -ki: "Napa-napa to nuperapi', bate kuwai' -ko!"
6But when Herod's birthday came, the daughter of Herodias danced in the midst, and pleased Herod.
7Whereupon he promised with an oath to give her whatsoever she should ask.
9Mpo'epe pomperapia' toe-di, kasoho' -nami nono-na Herodes. Aga nau' wae, apa' mpolia' mosumpa-imi we'i ra'epe torata-nae, toe pai' mohawa' -imi bona pomperapia' toronaa toei rapadupa'.
8And she, being put forward by her mother, saith, Give me here on a platter the head of John the Baptist.
10Nahubui-mi tantara-na hilou hi rala tarungku' mpopata' wuroko' Yohanes.
9And the king was grieved; but for the sake of his oaths, and of them that sat at meat with him, he commanded it to be given;
11Woo' Yohanes toe rakeni hi lolo dula, ratonu-ki toronaa toei, pai' hi'a mpokeni hilou hi tina-na.
10and he sent and beheaded John in the prison.
12Kara'epe-na topetuku' -na Yohanes kamate-nami, hilou-ramo-rawo mpo'ala' woto-na pai' ratana. Oti toe pai' -ra hilou mpokeni tolele-na hi Yesus.
11And his head was brought on a platter, and given to the damsel: and she brought it to her mother.
13Kana'epe-na Yesus tolele kamate-na Yohanes toe, pehawi' -nami hi sakaya, pai' -i malai ngkai ree hilou hi kawaoa' -na. Patuju Yesus bona ntodea neo' mpotuku' -i. Ntaa' we'i, kara'epe-na ntodea kahilou-nami Yesus, pe'ongko' -ra wo'o-mi-rawo ngkai ngata-ra hilou mpotuku' -i, aga merole-ra-rana.
12And his disciples came, and took up the corpse, and buried him; and they went and told Jesus.
14Pehompo-na Yesus ngkai sakaya, nahilo-hawo wori' tauna mpopea-i. Metumu' -mi ahi' -na mpohilo-ra, pai' -i mpaka'uri' -ra to peda'.
13Now when Jesus heard [it], he withdrew from thence in a boat, to a desert place apart: and when the multitudes heard [thereof,] they followed him on foot from the cities.
15Ncimonou' -mi, tumai-ramo ana'guru-na mpomohui' -i, ra'uli' -ki: "Guru, neo' limpa-mi eo-na, pai' wao' -hana hi rehe'i lau. Agina tahubui-ramo ntodea toera lau hilou hi ngata to mohu' mpo'oli pongkoni' -ra."
14And he came forth, and saw a great multitude, and he had compassion on them, and healed their sick.
16Na'uli' Yesus: "Uma-ra mingki' hilou. Koi' -mi-hawo to mpopokoni' -ra."
15And when even was come, the disciples came to him, saying, The place is desert, and the time is already past; send the multitudes away, that they may go into the villages, and buy themselves food.
17Ratompoi' ana'guru-na: "Uma-kaiwo ria napa-napa hi kai', wuwu lima meha' roti pai' bau' uru rongkaju-wadi."
16But Jesus said unto them, They have no need to go away; give ye them to eat.
18Na'uli' Yesus: "Keni tumai."
17And they say unto him, We have here but five loaves, and two fishes.
19Oti toe nahubui-ramo ntodea toera mohura hi kowo'. Kamohura-rami-rawo hi kowo', pai' na'ala' -mi roti to lima meha' pai' uru to rongkaju-e we'i, pai' -i ngkongoa' hi langi' mosampaya. Oti toe napihe-pihe-mi roti toe, pai' natonu-raka ana'guru-na bona rabagi hi ntodea.
18And he said, Bring them hither to me.
20Ngkoni' omea-ramo duu' -ra bohu. Ka'oti-ra ngkoni', rarumpu-mi toro-na, hampulu' roluncu-pi.
19And he commanded the multitudes to sit down on the grass; and he took the five loaves, and the two fishes, and looking up to heaven, he blessed, and brake and gave the loaves to the disciples, and the disciples to the multitudes.
21Kawori' -ra to ngkoni' nto'u toe, ba ria-ra lima ncobu tu? paka' tomane-pidi, ko'ia tebila' tobine pai' ana' -ana'.
20And they all ate, and were filled: and they took up that which remained over of the broken pieces, twelve baskets full.
22Oti toe, Yesus mpohubui ana'guru-na mosakaya meri'ulu hilou hi dipo rano, pai' -i mpohubui tauna to wori' toera nculii' hilou hi tomi-ra.

22And straightway he constrained the disciples to enter into the boat, and to go before him unto the other side, till he should send the multitudes away.
24Hiaa' ana'guru-nae we'i, hi laintongo' rano-ramo, molaa-mi ngkai role-na. Bingko-bingko-na sakaya-ra nakeni balumpa, apa' ngolu' mewui tono' ngkai nyanyoa sakaya-ra.
23And after he had sent the multitudes away, he went up into the mountain apart to pray: and when even was come, he was there alone.
25Parabaja, Yesus momako' hi lolo ue mpototoaka-ra.
24But the boat was now in the midst of the sea, distressed by the waves; for the wind was contrary.
26Pehilo-ra ana'guru-na ria to momako' hi lolo ue, wilingkoroa-ramo, pai' ra'uli': "Etu tope'ekahi!" Me'au-ramo nakeni eka' -ra.
25And in the fourth watch of the night he came unto them, walking upon the sea.
27Ncaliu na'uli' -raka Yesus: "Pakaroho nono-ni! Neo' me'eka'! Aku' -mile toi-e."
26And when the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, It is a ghost; and they cried out for fear.
28Na'uli' Petrus: "Ane Iko mpu'u-mi tetu-e Pue', kio' wo'o-a-kuwo tilou momako' hi lolo ue."
27But straightway Jesus spake unto them, saying Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid.
29Natompoi' Yesus: "Tumai-moko!" Pehompo-nami Petrus ngkai rala sakaya, momako' hi lolo ue mpototopa Yesus.
28And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto the upon the waters.
30Aga kanahilo-na bohe rahi ngolu' hi rano, me'eka' -imi, pai' katenoo-nonoa' -imi. Kamekio' -nami: "Tulungi-a-kuwo Pue'!"
29And he said, Come. And Peter went down from the boat, and walked upon the waters to come to Jesus.
31Kana'ulu-nami Yesus pale-na mpentoe Petrus, na'uli' -ki: "Kura' rahi-kona pepangala' -nu! Napa pai' morara' nono-nu!"
30But when he saw the wind, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried out, saying, Lord, save me.
32Kangkahe' -ra hi rala sakaya, ncaliu ora-mi ngolu' -na.
31And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and took hold of him, and saith unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?
33Ana'guru-na to hi rala sakaya toe mponyompa-i, ra'uli': "Makono mpu'u, Ana' Alata'ala-ko!"
32And when they were gone up into the boat, the wind ceased.
34Karata-ra hi dipo rano, mencore-ramo hi tana' to rahanga' Genesaret.
33And they that were in the boat worshipped him, saying, Of a truth thou art the Son of God.
35Kara'inca-na pue' ngata ria Yesus hi ngata-ra, ratolele-mi hilou hi ngata-ngata to mohu', alaa-na hawe'ea to peda' rakeni-ki Yesus.
34And when they had crossed over, they came to the land, unto Gennesaret.
36Merapi' -ra hi Yesus, bona napiliu-ra mporeo nau' kampa' wuntu baju-na-wadi. Hawe'ea to mporeo baju-na, haliu mo'uri' -ramo.
35And when the men of that place knew him, they sent into all that region round about, and brought unto him all that were sick,
36and they besought him that they might only touch the border of his garment: and as many as touched were made whole.
