¹(G12-18) Ule naga toei mokore hi wiwi' tahi'.

¹and he stood upon the sand of the sea. And I saw a beast coming up out of the sea, having ten horns, and seven heads, and on his horns ten diadems, and upon his heads names of blasphemy.

²Binata to kuhilo toei, lence-na hewa lence binata to rahanga' macan tutul, aga witi' -na hewa witi' beruang pai' nguju-na hewa nguju singa. Ule naga mpowai' binata to dada'a toei karohoa-na moto, hante poparenta-na, pai' kuasa-na to bohe lia.

²And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as [the feet] of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his throne, and great authority.

³Hameha' ngkai woo' -na to pitu toe, hiloa-na hewa to weho gaga to natao napomate-ki, aga mo'uri' moto-mi. Tauna hi humalili' dunia', uma mowo kakonce-ra mpohilo kamo'uri' -na binata to dada'a toei, toe pai' mo'iko-ra-damo mpotuku' -i.

³And [I saw] one of his heads as though it had been smitten unto death; and his death-stroke was healed: and the whole earth wondered after the beast;

⁴Mepue' -ramo hi ule naga, apa' hi'a-mi to mpewai' kuasa-na hi binata to dada'a toei. Pai' mepue' wo'o-ra hi binata toei, ra'uli': "Uma mowo binata toei mai! Hema to mpohibalia-ki kuasa-na! Hema to hompe mpo'ewa-i!"

⁴and they worshipped the dragon, because he gave his authority unto the beast; and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? And who is able to war with him?

⁵Alata'ala mpelele' binata to dada'a toei mpohowa' lolita-lolita to mpopeliu, to natao hi Alata'ala-wadi. Rapelele' wo'o-i moparenta pai' mpobabehi konoa-na rala-na opo' mpulu' romula kahae-na.

⁵and there was given to him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and there was given to him authority to continue forty and two months.

⁶Natepu'u-mi mpopeliu woto-na, napopohibalia-ki Alata'ala, pai' hante lolita-na toe mporuge' Alata'ala-imi hante po'ohaa' Alata'ala hi suruga pai' hawe'ea to mo'oha' hi suruga.

⁶And he opened his mouth for blasphemies against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, [even] them that dwell in the heaven.

⁷Rapiliu wo'o-i mpopanga'ei topetuku' Alata'ala pai' mpodagi-ra. Pai' rapiliu-i mpokuasai tauna hi humalili' dunia', ngkai butu negara, butu pomuli pai' butu nyala basa.

⁷And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and there was given to him authority over every tribe and people and tongue and nation.

⁸Hawe'ea tauna to mo'oha' hi dunia' mpopue' -i. Sampale to uma mpopue' -i, tauna to te'uki' ami' -mi hanga' -ra hi rala Buku Katuwua' kako'ia-na dunia' rapajadi'. Buku Katuwua' toe, buku-na Ana' Bima to tesumale' toei, hi rala buku toe te'uki' hanga' tauna to mporata katuwua' to lompe' duu' kahae-hae-na.

⁸And all that dwell on the earth shall worship him, [every one] whose name hath not been written from the foundation of the world in the book of life of the Lamb that hath been slain.

⁹Jadi', hema to tilingaa, pe'epei mpu'u-e' lolita toi:

⁹If any man hath an ear, let him hear.

¹⁰Tauna to kana ratawani, bate ratawani-ra mpai'. Tauna to kana rapatehi hante piho', bate rapatehi hante piho'.

¹⁰If any man [is] for captivity, into captivity he goeth: if any man shall kill with the sword, with the sword must he be killed. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.

¹¹Oti toe, kuhilo wo'o hama'a binata ntani' -na mehupa' ngkai role-na. Ria tonu' -na romeha', to hewa tonu' ana' bima. Hiaa' libu' -na hewa libu' ule naga.

¹¹And I saw another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like unto lamb, and he spake as a dragon.

¹²Binata karoma'a-na toei, nabi to napowoto binata to lomo' -nae we'i. Jadi', hawe'ea kuasa-na binata to lomo' -na, napopomako' binata karoma'a-na toei. Hawe'ea tauna to mo'oha' hi dunia' napewuku mpopue' binata to lomo' -na toe, to gaga weho-na aga mo'uri' -mi.

¹²And he exerciseth all the authority of the first beast in his sight. And he maketh the earth and them dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose death-stroke was healed.

¹³Binata karoma'a-na toei mpobabehi tanda to mekoncehi lia. Hi mata ntodea mpopana'u-i apu ngkai langi' dungku hi dunia'.

¹³And he doeth great signs, that he should even make fire to come down out of heaven upon the earth in the sight of men.

¹⁴Tanda mekoncehi toe nababehi hante kuasa ngkai binata to lomo' -na. Hante tanda mekoncehi toe nabagiu-ramo tauna to mo'oha' hi dunia' pai' nahubui-ra mpowangu hameha' pinotau, pebila' -ra hi binata to lomo' -na. Binata to lomo' -na toe, binata to ratime hante piho' aga tuwu' oa' -i.

¹⁴And he deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by reason of the signs which it was given him to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast who hath the stroke of the sword and lived.

¹⁵Binata karoma'a-na toei rawai' kuasa mpowai' inoha' hi pinotau to molence binata to lomo' -na, alaa-na pinotau toe howa' mololita. Napehubui bona hema-hema to uma mpopue' pinotau toe bate kana rapatehi.

¹⁵And it was given [unto him] to give breath to it, [even] to the image to the breast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as should not worship the image of the beast should be killed.

¹⁶Pai' napehubui bona hawe'ea tauna kana mpotarima tanda binata to lomo' -na toe. Tanda toe kana ratu'u hi pale ka'ana-ra ba hi wingke-ra. Jadi', hawe'ea tauna-- to bohe ba to kedi' tuwu' -ra, topo'ua' ba tokabu, to tuwu' batua ba to tuwu' maradika-- napewuku omea-ra mpotarima tanda binata toe.

¹⁶And he causeth all, the small and the great, and the rich and the poor, and the free and the bond, that there be given them a mark on their right hand, or upon their forehead;

¹⁷Uma-ra ma'ala me'oli ba mobabalu' ane uma ria tanda toe hi pale-ra ba hi wingke-ra. Tanda binata toe, hanga' -na moto binata to lomo' -na ba angka to mpowalatu hanga' -na.

¹⁷and that no man should be able to buy or to sell, save he that hath the mark, [even] the name of the beast or the number of his name.

¹⁸Kana taperapi' kanotoa nono ngkai Alata'ala bona tapaha walatu toi. Hema to ria pe'inca-ra, ma'ala-ra mpobila' pai' mpopaha batua-na angka binata toe. Apa' angka toe, angka to mpowalatu hadua tauna. Angka toe: ono atu ono mpulu' ono (G666).

¹⁸Here is wisdom. He that hath understanding, let him count the number of the beast; for it is the number of a man: and his number is Six hundred and sixty and six.
