¹Ria ku'epe to mpotompo'wiwi gau' to uma tumotoa to jadi' hi laintongo' -ni. Ria hadua doo-ni to mpotobine awo' -na, tobine tuama-na. Bangku' tauna to uma ngincai Pue' Alata'ala-hawoe', uma-ra ria to mogau' hewa tetu.

¹It is universally reported [that there is] fornication among you, and such fornication as [is] not even among the nations, so that one should have his father's wife.

²Hiaa' koi' -mi-koina, nau' hewa toe-mi gau' -na doo-ni, molangko oa' -di-koina nono-ni! Kakoo-kono-na ke nipopeda' nono-di-hawo gau' to hewa toe-e, nipopalai-i ngkai laintongo' -ni.

²And *ye* are puffed up, and ye have not rather mourned, in order that he that has done this deed might be taken away out of the midst of you.

⁴Nau' molaa-a ngkai koi' ompi', aga nono-ku ria moto dohe-ni, pai' ria moto kuasa-ku mpohawai' -koi, hewa to ria moto-a hi laintongo' -ni. Jadi', hante kuasa to nawai' -ka Pue' Yesus Kristus, kuponoa': tauna to hewa toe gau' -na kana rahuku'. Ane moromu-koi mpai' pai' nono-ku ria moto dohe-ni, kuperapi' bona hante kuasa Yesus Pue' -ta,

³For *I*, [as] absent in body but present in spirit, have already judged as present,

⁵nitonu lau-imi hi rala kuasa Magau' Anudaa'. Batua-na, nihubui-i malai ngkai kahintuwua' -ni, pai' neo' -i nipiliu mogampara dohe-ni. Nibabehi toe bona mporata-i pehuku' hi rala woto-na, pai' kao' -na mporata moto mpai' kalompea' ane rata-ipi Pue' Yesus.

⁴[to deliver,] in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ (ye and my spirit being gathered together, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ), him that has so wrought this:

⁶Ha ni'uli' -koina wae, lompe' gau' to hewa toe-e, pai' molangko oa' -di nono-nie! Ha uma ni'incai lolita to mpo'uli': "Ragi hangkedi' mpakawoke' lunu to wori'"? Batua-na, hadua tauna to mojeko' ma'ala mpokero kahintuwuaa' -ni omea.

⁵to deliver him, [I say,] [being] such, to Satan for destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.

⁷Ane to Yahudi mpobabehi ada Posusa' Paskah, ralali ragi ngkai tomi-ra, pai' rasumale' bima tolo' woto-ra. Hewa to Yahudi mpolali ragi ngkai tomi-ra, wae wo'o koi' kana mpolali tauna to mojeko' ngkai kahintuwuaa' -ni, bona koi' jadi' ntodea Alata'ala to moroli'-- apa' ntodea Alata'ala mpu'u-mokoi ompi'. Apa' mate-imi Kristus jadi' bima Paskah to mpotolo' -ta.

⁶Your boasting [is] not good. Do ye not know that a little leaven leavens the whole lump?

⁸Jadi', mai-tamo, tatadi-mi ragi to hae, tatadi kehi-ta to ri'ulu, hewa nono to mobengi pai' po'ingku to dada'a. Mai-tamo mepue' hi Alata'ala hante karoli' -roli' nono-ta.

⁷Purge out the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, according as ye are unleavened. For also our passover, Christ, has been sacrificed;

⁹Rala sura-ku to ri'ulu, ku'uli' -kokoi bona neo' mposigalo-raka tauna to mogau' sala'.

⁸so that let us celebrate the feast, not with old leaven, nor with leaven of malice and wickedness, but with unleavened [bread] of sincerity and truth.

¹⁰Aga bela patuju-ku bona neo' niposigalo-raka tauna to uma mpo'incai Alata'ala pai' to mogau' sala', to jampa, topebagiu, ba to mepue' hi pinotau. Bela hira' to kutoa'. Apa' ane ke hira' to ku'uli' neo' niposigalo-raka, batua-na kana malai mpu'u-koi ngkai dunia' toi.

⁹I have written to you in the epistle not to mix with fornicators;

¹¹To ku'uli' -le, neo' niposigalo-raka to mpo'uli' mepangala' moto-ra hi Pue' Yesus, hiaa' mogau' sala' moto-rada, jampa, mepue' hi pinotau, mpotipo' doo, topalangu-langu, ba topebagiu. Bangku' mpohimpongkoni' -raka tauna to hewa toe, neo'!

¹⁰not altogether with the fornicators of this world, or with the avaricious and rapacious, or idolaters, since [then] ye should go out of the world.

¹³Ane tauna to bela-ra to Kristen, uma ria huraa-ku mpohuku' -ra. Alata'ala moto mpai' to mpohuku' -ra. Koi' moto kana mpohuku' ompi' hampepangalaa' -ni to masala'. Jadi', hewa to te'uki' rala Buku Tomoroli': "Popalai tauna to dada'a po'ingku-na ngkai laintongo' -ni," neo' -i nipiliu mogampara dohe-ni.

¹¹But now I have written to you, if any one called brother be fornicator, or avaricious, or idolater, or abusive, or a drunkard, or rapacious, not to mix with [him]; with such a one not even to eat.

¹²For what have *I* [to do] with judging those outside also? *ye*, do not ye judge them that are within?

¹³But those without God judges. Remove the wicked person from amongst yourselves.
