1Hewa toe, ompi': rapa' -na ria hadua ana' maradika. Hawe'ea rewa tuama-na mpai', hi'a omea pue' -na. Aga ane nto'u kakedia' -na-pidi, raponcawa hewa hadua batua-i-pidi.
1Now I say, As long as the heir is a child, he differs nothing from a bondman, though he be lord of all;
2Ria tauna to mpewili' -i pai' mpo'urusi rewa-na, duu' -na rata-mi tempo-na to napakatantu tuama-na.
2but he is under guardians and stewards until the period fixed by the father.
3Wae wo'o hante kita' ompi': kako'ia-ta mpo'incai Alata'ala, kita' hewa ana' toei, apa' mengkoru-ta hi ada pai' atura to hi dunia' toi.
3So we also, when we were children, were held in bondage under the principles of the world;
4Aga karata-na tempo to napakatantu Alata'ala, napahawa' -mi Ana' -na tumai hi dunia'. Ana' -na toei putu ngkai hadua tobine, pai' -i mewali to Yahudi to mengkoru hi Atura Musa.
4but when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, come of woman, come under law,
5Alata'ala mpopahawa' Ana' -na tumai bona mpobahaka-ta ngkai Atura Musa, bona kita' wo'o ma'ala napajadi' ana' -na.
5that he might redeem those under law, that we might receive sonship.
6Jadi', apa' lawi' ana' Alata'ala-tamoe, Alata'ala mpohubui Inoha' Ana' -na mo'oha' hi rala nono-ta. Ngkai pobago Inoha' Tomoroli' hi rala nono-ta toe, mekio' -ta hi Alata'ala, ta'uli' -ki: "O Mama! O Tuama-ku!"
6But because ye are sons, God has sent out the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, crying, Abba, Father.
7Jadi', uma-pi tapengkorui Atura Musa bona ke jadi' monoa' -ta hi poncilo Alata'ala. Ana' Alata'ala-tamo! Pai' ane ntoa' napo'ana' -tamo, bate nawai' -ta mpai' hawe'ea to naporodo hi ana' -na.
7So thou art no longer bondman, but son; but if son, heir also through God.
8Owi kako'ia-ni mpo'incai Alata'ala, mengkoru-koi hi pue' -pue' to mobaraka', aga to bela-ra Alata'ala.
8But then indeed, not knowing God, ye were in bondage to those who by nature are not gods;
10Tapi' tempo toi ni'inca-imi Alata'ala-- hiaa' kakono-na Alata'ala-di-hawo to ri'ulu mpo'inca-koi! Jadi', napa-di-koina pai' doko' nikanculihii ada pai' atura to hewa toe-e? Nituku' lau-mi ada agama Yahudi hewa eo palia, tempo mosusa', wula bo'u pai' eo bohe ntani' -na. Ada pai' atura tetu-le uma mpokeni rasi', pai' uma-koi mpai' tebahaka ngkai huku' jeko' -ni ngkai petuku' -ni hi atura tetu-e. Jadi', napa pai' doko' mengkoru nculii' wo'o-mokoi hi ada pai' atura to hewa tetu-e!
9but now, knowing God, but rather being known by God, how do ye turn again to the weak and beggarly principles to which ye desire to be again anew in bondage?
11Koro' -a nee-neo' mpai' uma ria kalaua-na lenge' -ku mpokeni Kareba Lompe' hi koi'.
10Ye observe days and months and times and years.
12Ompi' -ku to Galatia! Kuperapi' bona nituku' mpu'u ingku-ku. Apa' nau' to Yahudi-a, kubahakai-mi mpotuku' ada to Yahudi bona aku' jadi' hewa koi' to bela-koi to Yahudi. Lompe' lia kehi-ni hi aku' wengi.
11I am afraid of you, lest indeed I have laboured in vain as to you.
13Tantu nikiwoi-pidi karata-ku hi ngata-ni wengi mpokeni Kareba Lompe' hi koi'. Nto'u toe peda' -a.
12Be as *I* [am], for *I* also [am] as *ye*, brethren, I beseech you: ye have not at all wronged me.
14Haki' -ku toe mpakasusa' -koi. Aga nau' wae, uma-a nipokarungku ba nipoka'oja'. Nitarima lau-ada, niponcawa mala'eka ngkai Alata'ala, niponcawa hewa Kristus Yesus lau-ada.
13But ye know that in weakness of the flesh I announced the glad tidings to you at the first;
15Goe' mpu'u nono-ni nto'u toe ompi'. Jadi' napa pai' mobali' -mi nono-ni tempo toi? Nto'u toe wengi, ku'inca mpu'u ompi', ane ria ba napa-napa to kuparaluu, uma nipekabosi'; kira-kira ane ke bisa-wadi, nau' mata-ni moto-mi nijungki' pai' niwai' -ka, ba ke uma nipekabosi'.
14and my temptation, which [was] in my flesh, ye did not slight nor reject with contempt; but ye received me as an angel of God, as Christ Jesus.
16Ha ni'uli' -koina, aku' jadi' bali' -ni tempo toi apa' ku'uli' -kokoi napa to makono?
15What then [was] your blessedness? for I bear you witness that, if possible, plucking out your own eyes ye would have given [them] to me.
17Tauna to hantongo' tetura ria, doko' mpu'u-ra ngala' nono-ni. Tapi' patuju-ra uma-hana lompe'. Patuju-ra doko' mpogaa' -koi ngkai aku', bona nituku' -ra hante nono-ni mpu'u.
16So I have become your enemy in speaking the truth to you?
18Lompe' lau-di ane ria to doko' ngala' nono-ni. Uma muntu' bula-ku dohe-ni, lingku' -ku wo'o, lompe' oa' ane ria to doko' ngala' nono-ni, asala patuju-ra lompe'.
17They are not rightly zealous after you, but desire to shut you out [from us], that ye may be zealous after them.
19Ompi' -ompi', kuponcawa ana' -ku moto-mokoi. Aga susa' -mi nono-ku toi-e mpopenonoi-koi, pai' bate susa' oa' mpai' nono-ku ane ko'ia-koi jadi' hewa Kristus.
18But [it is] right to be zealous at all times in what is right, and not only when I am present with you --
20Doko' lia-ama hi retu dohe-ni ompi', bona lolita-ku to karapo' ma'ala kubalii'. Apa' tuhu-mi nono-ku toi-e ompi'.
19my children, of whom I again travail in birth until Christ shall have been formed in you:
21Ee koi' to doko' mengkoru hi Atura Musa, pe'epei-kae' lolita-ku! Ku'uli' -kokoi napa to te'uki' hi rala Buku Atura Musa.
20and I should wish to be present with you now, and change my voice, for I am perplexed as to you.
22Te'uki' hewa toi: Abraham, rodua-ki ana' -na. Ana' -na to hadua putu ngkai Hagar, to tuwu' batua-i. Pai' ana' -na to hadua putu ngkai Sara, bela-i-hana batua.
21Tell me, ye who are desirous of being under law, do ye not listen to the law?
23Ana' to putu ngkai tobine to tuwu' batua, putu hewa ana' biasa ntuku' konoa manusia'. Tapi' ana' to putu ngkai tobine to bela-i batua, putu ntuku' janci Alata'ala hi Abraham.
22For it is written that Abraham had two sons; one of the maid servant, and one of the free woman.
25Tutura tohe'e ma'ala jadi' tudui' hi kita'. Tobine to rodua toera mpobatuai ronyala ohea jadi' monoa' hi poncilo Alata'ala. Hagar ma'ala rarapai' -ki tauna to doko' jadi' monoa' hi poncilo Alata'ala hi kampotuku' -ra Atura Musa. Apa' hawe'ea tauna to mpotuku' Atura Musa tuwu' hewa batua, apa' mengkoru-ra hi Atura Musa hewa batua mengkoru hi maradika-na. Jadi', Hagar toei ma'ala rarapai' -ki Bulu' Sinai hi tana' Arab. Pai' Hagar toei ma'ala rarapai' -ki ngata Yerusalem to hi dunia' toi. Apa' pue' ngata Yerusalem tuwu' hewa batua, napobatua Atura Musa.
23But he [that was] of the maid servant was born according to flesh, and he [that was] of the free woman through the promise.
26Sara ma'ala rarapai' -ki Yerusalem to hi suruga. Sara toe-imile to tapotina kita' toi-e ompi', apa' uma-i tuwu' batua, pai' kita' uma-ta napobatua Atura Musa.
24Which things have an allegorical sense; for these are two covenants: one from mount Sinai, gendering to bondage, which is Hagar.
28Tohe'e hewa lolita Buku Tomoroli' to mpo'uli': Goe' -ko-kona iko tobine to lalo, to uma-ko-kona hangkania mo'ana'. Goe' pai' mohahelo' -ko, to uma hangkania ntodohaka mpo'ote ana'. Apa' nau' lalo-ko, meliu mpai' kawori' muli-nu ngkai tobine to mo'anai' ami'."
25For Hagar is mount Sinai in Arabia, and corresponds to Jerusalem which [is] now, for she is in bondage with her children;
29Nto'u toe owi, ana' Abraham to putu hewa ana' biasa mpobalinai' tu'ai-na to putu ntuku' janci Alata'ala. Wae wo'o to jadi' tempo toi-e: tauna to doko' mpewuku-ta mpotuku' Atura Musa mpobalinai' -ta to mpotuku' konoa Inoha' Tomoroli'.
26but the Jerusalem above is free, which is our mother.
30Tapi' napa to te'uki' hi rala Buku Tomoroli'? Te'uki' hewa toi: "Popalai-i tobine to tuwu' batua tetui hante ana' -na! Apa' ana' batua toe uma ma'ala mpotarima sosora tuama-na hangkaa-ngkania hante ana' to putu ngkai tobine to uma tuwu' batua."
27For it is written, Rejoice, thou barren that bearest not; break out and cry, thou that travailest not; because the children of the desolate are more numerous than [those] of her that has a husband.
31Jadi', kita' toi-e ompi', uma-ta-tana hewa ana' Hagar, to tuwu' batua. Kita' toi-e hewa ana' Sara, to uma tuwu' batua.
28But *ye*, brethren, after the pattern of Isaac, are children of promise.
29But as then he that was born according to flesh persecuted him [that was born] according to Spirit, so also [it is] now.
30But what says the scripture? Cast out the maid servant and her son; for the son of the maid servant shall not inherit with the son of the free woman.
31So then, brethren, we are not maid servant's children, but [children] of the free woman.
