Hebrews

5

1Butu dua Imam Bohe rapelihi ngkai laintongo' hingka manusia', pai' -ra ra'ongko' mpobago bago Alata'ala. Imam Bohe, pangkeni agama to mponyanyo Alata'ala mpokeni hanga' ntodea. Bago-ra, mposumale' porewua mpohompo' jeko' ntodea pai' mpotonu pepue' ntani' -na hi Alata'ala.
1For every high priest taken from amongst men is established for men in things relating to God, that he may offer both gifts and sacrifices for sins;
2Imam Bohe, manusia' wo'o-ra-wadi-rawo, pai' bate wori' wo'o-hawo kalentea-ra. Toe pai' ra'inca mpaka'olu kehi-ra mpewili' tauna to ko'ia monoto nono-ra pai' to ko'ia mpo'incai ohea to makono.
2being able to exercise forbearance towards the ignorant and erring, since he himself also is clothed with infirmity;
3Jadi', apa' lente moto wo'o-ra-rawo Imam Bohe toera-e, toe pai' kana mpotonu-ra pepue' mpohompo' jeko' -ra moto. Uma wule' pepue' ntodea to ratonu, tapi' pepue' mpohompo' jeko' -ra moto wo'o-rawo.
3and, on account of this [infirmity], he ought, even as for the people, so also for himself, to offer for sins.
4Pai' wo'o, uma-hawo ria tauna to mpo'ongko' moto-mi woto-na jadi' Imam Bohe. Tauna to jadi' Imam Bohe, Alata'ala-wadi-hana to mpo'ongko' pai' mpokio' -ra hi bago tohe'e, hewa to jadi' owi hi Harun.
4And no one takes the honour to himself but [as] called by God, even as Aaron also.
5Wae wo'o Kristus, uma-i mpokalangko woto-na moto, uma na'ongko' moto-mi woto-na jadi' Imam Bohe. Alata'ala-hana to mpo'ongko' -i, na'uli' -ki: Iko-mi Ana' -ku, Eo toe lau kupo'Ana' -moko."
5Thus the Christ also has not glorified himself to be made a high priest; but he who had said to him, *Thou* art my Son, *I* have to-day begotten thee.
6Pai' hi ayat ntani' -na na'uli' wo'o Alata'ala: Iko-mi imam duu' kahae-hae-na, hewa pobago-na Melkisedek owi."
6Even as also in another [place] he says, *Thou* [art] a priest for ever according to the order of Melchisedec.
7Nto'u-na Yesus tuwu' rala dunia' tohe'i, me'au-i geo' mekakae pai' mpohowa' pomperapia' -na hi Alata'ala. Na'inca kamobaraka' -na Alata'ala mpobahaka-i ngkai kamatea, aga uma-i mpotuku' konoa-na moto, bate mengkoru-i hi konoa Alata'ala. Toe pai' Alata'ala mpo'epe pomperapia' -na.
7Who in the days of his flesh, having offered up both supplications and entreaties to him who was able to save him out of death, with strong crying and tears; (and having been heard because of his piety;)
8Nau' Ana' Alata'ala mpu'u-i, mporata kaparia wo'o-i-hawo, pai' -i mengkoru hi Alata'ala hewa manusia'.
8though he were Son, he learned obedience from the things which he suffered;
9Pai' ngkai pengkoru-na toe, Yesus jadi' Topetolo' to uma ria kakuraa' -na, pai' pehupaa' katuwua' to lompe' duu' kahae-hae-na hi hawe'ea tauna to mengkoru hi Hi'a.
9and having been perfected, became to all them that obey him, author of eternal salvation;
10Pai' Alata'ala mpo'ongko' -i jadi' Imam Bohe hewa Melkisedek owi.
10addressed by God [as] high priest according to the order of Melchisedec.
11Ompi' -ompi', kakoo-kono-na, wori' -pidile ke to kulolita-kokoie mpotompo'wiwi Yesus pai' Melkisedek toe, aga mokoro mponotohi-kokoi apa' hewa to mengkawongo-koi, uma nita'a tilinga-ni mpo'epe tudui'.
11Concerning whom we have much to say, and hard to be interpreted in speaking [of it], since ye are become dull in hearing.
12Mahae-mokoi mpotuku' Pue' Yesus. Bangku' tudui' to mojoli ko'ia nituku' lompe', peliu-nami mpai' tudui' to mokoro! Hewa ana'lei-pidi-koi: ko'ia nikulei' mpokoni' koni' to mokara, ntii' -pidi to nikule' -na.
12For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have again need that [one] should teach you what [are] the elements of the beginning of the oracles of God, and are become such as have need of milk, [and] not of solid food.
13Tauna to ntii' -hawo-le, ana'lei-ra-pidi. Batua-na, ko'ia monoto nono-ra mpoposisala napa to makono pai' napa to sala'.
13For every one that partakes of milk [is] unskilled in the word of righteousness, for he is a babe;
14Koni' to mokara, bagia tauna to kama-mi. Batua-na, tauna to mpoinono pai' mpotuku' tudui' to makono, duu' -na monoto-ramo, ra'inca-mi mpoposisala kehi to lompe' pai' kehi to dada'a.
14but solid food belongs to full-grown men, who, on account of habit, have their senses exercised for distinguishing both good and evil.
